They asked me to bring the car back in, but immediately claimed the damage was caused by a rock because there was a small chip missing. I disagreed and took the vehicle to Safelite for a second opinion. Safelite confirmed that this was not an impact crack. The crack originated inside the glass along the sealed edge where the windshield is glued to the frame, not from the outside. This indicates an installation or stress issue, not road damage. Despite this, the business attempted to charge me nearly full price to replace a windshield that failed due to their workmanship. This experience was frustrating and disappointing, and I would not recommend them based on how this situation was handled.
