We originally had glass installed that showed visible internal defects. To their credit, Glasswerks initially agreed to replace it. Unfortunately, the replacement glass arrived with the same, if not worse, defects. When we raised the issue again, their position suddenly changed and we were told that what we're seeing is "normal." It absolutely isn't. When the shower runs and the glass fogs, the defects become very obvious. Anyone looking at it can see the imperfections inside the glass. What's even more disappointing is the lack of communication. After raising the issue again, we went over a week without any response. When you're dealing with defective materials in your home, being ignored is unacceptable. We've made repeated good-faith efforts to allow the subcontractors involved to correct their work. Instead, we've gotten shifting explanations, delays, and now claims that defective glass is somehow normal. At this point the situation is moving toward litigation, which could have been avoided with basic accountability and customer service. If you're considering using Glasswerks, I would strongly recommend documenting everything and thinking carefully before moving forward. This has been a costly and exhausting experience. read more

Your shower panels were installed in two of my bathrooms around mid 2023, by Raul Sanchez +1 (323) 760-0384. Last night around 1am while I was sleeping the shower panel in master bathroom exploded. I called Raul, he told me to buy a new one. I do not think I have to spend a dime to buy another one. I could be killed by the explosion. My kids could be killed too. Imagine calling 911 butt-naked to get me or my kids out of shattered glasses bleeding all over. I have videos and photos and my kids were waken up by the blast too. So they have videos too. I would like the company to replace the shattered panel for free and to put protective film on all their panels in my house. read more

Glasswerks - Shower panel glass exploded by itself in the middle of night - Glass & Mirrors Near Me - South Gate, California

Their glass is extremely low quality. All of my living room windows were replaced with their glass. Portions of the glass are blurry and have a circus mirror effect. They are double panned windows and every window has failed and fogged. A few have been replaced thrice! There is a 10 year warranty but, why would I continue having crap window installed. Using their glass was an extreme waste of my time and money. Purchase your glass from some other company. read more

A follow up to my review 7 months ago. We have had the glass in our house for 7 months now and already 7 different windows have the seal failing and white stripes developing down the middle of them between the dual panes. This is the worst quality product I have ever seen. read more

The quality of insulated glass units made by Glasswerks in terrible. Several IGUs had to be rejected by the glass installers due to contamination between the dual panes. Now, 8 months after installation, the low e coating is either decomposing inside the IGUs, OR the seals have started leaking, allowing condensation. Previously, the IGUs in my doors (NOT fabricated by Glasswerks) lasted for 24 years. If you are having glass replaced, MAKE SURE the installer uses another fabricator for the IGUs. read more

Terrible glass. Tempered glass is worst I've ever seen. inconsistencies in tempering cause huge polarization blotches and colorization issues. Dont buy low-E butted glass as there will be distortion bands at the edges since they won't take the film to the edges. Tempered glass is rolled out on metal rollers and has creases and warping that is seriously flawed. Company just says it's in their spec. Their spec is terrible. Will be replacing their glass it's that bad! An expensive mistake! read more

Don't order IGs from them. Most have crap in between the glass. They don't understand what the difference is between regular gray glass and graylite #2 is. It took them 4 attempts to get a basic standard color right, along with several phone calls. Incompetent and low quality. My customer thinks I'm an idiot. They're right. I'm the idiot for using this company, and I get to look at a bad review on my own personal Yelp page because Glasswerks is unreliable. read more

I placed an order WITH a drawing with specific measurements. I received the panel and the sizes on the order ticket were correct. I prepped my door frame and went to install the panel and it was too big by 5/16" both height and width. Because of a deadline I had to meet I did not have time to have a new piece made so I spent 2 hours reworking my door frame. The company driver happened to be in the complex so I brought him in to show him that the sizes were too big. Then I requested that they reimburse me for my time but they wanted to remake the panel. This was a $758.00 piece of glass and would have taken another week or more and I am sure would have cost them more than that. I thought that $150.00 would be reasonable but they said no to a refund that it is company policy to do a remake. I hope they are happy as that was the LAST order I will EVER do with them. read more

Placed an order with Glasswerks Tuesday afternoon and things didn't go as expected and would be delayed a day. Glass is never promised which I totally understand. The hard work that the order desk and shipping department put forth made the unexpected more acceptable. Installed Glasswerks double pane gas filled windows in our new custom home, and just 15 years later, most of the seals have broken and several need replacing. No warranty. 3 have been "foggy" since the beginning and now 2 picture windows are also cloudy. Very disappointed with customer service. Just, sorry, can't help you. Buyer beware. read more
