Not being familiar with Purdy, I stopped at the first gas station I saw to see if anyone could help me put on my spare. Long story short, I got directed to another gas station, then to an auto parts shop, and then to here. With it pouring down rain and me running very late to my appointment by now, I was discouraged when I arrived, to say the least. I asked (who I later found out was) the owner, Jeremy, if he "knew of anybody that could help me put on my spare." He asked if I had the tire, I replied yes, and he said, with the biggest smile, "Just pull your car up and we'll get it put on there in no time!" I was so relieved that I just immediately started crying and did as he said. He then told me that he didn't see a flat tire, so I told him which one it was and that I had aired it up at the previous gas station. He then told me that they would check to see if it was fixable (without me even asking!) and put the spare on if not. Five minutes later, the mechanic comes in saying that my tire was fixed, no spare needed. Jeremy then told me that it was only going to be $5. When I told him that I want him to charge me more than that (I was verrrry thankful), he and the woman behind the counter both politely laughed and politely ask their head, saying that it was called, "Paying It Forward." I reluctantly handed him my card, but he laughed and said just to bring him $5 the next time I was in the area. He then proceeded to tell me that if this ever happens again, to just come straight to them and they will put air in my tires for free or do anything else needed. I know this is really long, but I can't reiterate enough how much of a savior he was that day. I ended up still making some of our bridal dress appointment in Seattle, and I'm not even driving on a donut. He didn't have to be so kind, but he was, and for that I'm very, very thankful. I will no doubt be back to them for all of my similar needs. Go see them, you will not be disappointed with their service!!!

I ask for their charge of service for recharging my AC system in my Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel which had leaked down over the past two years. He stated $240.00. Made an appointment for Last Thursday. Showed up. They changed pricing immediately to $257.00 that morning. I said go ahead. About an hour later a guy "B" calls saying, system pressure high. Can't recharge till blockage found, stating they charged me $175.00 so far and want permission for $175.00 more to find blockage. Ten minutes later they found high pressure line and orifice in line was blocked. I ask how much for line and labor to replace and charge AC system. The guy at front desk "B" states $1000.00 + tax..... I went and picked my truck up, telling them to leave it as is..... I knew i was being legally robbed... They charged me almost $400.00 cash to tell me i have a blocked high pressure line. Which they figured out within an hour of starting on vehicle. The part they wanted $100.00 for i bought at O'Reilly's Auto parts store for $46.00...same day delivery .... It took me 25 minutes to install new line on my truck because of need to move air box to install line... I bought $50.00+\- of R134 Coolant. Borrowed friends home recharge vacuum system and recharged to 1.8lbs my self.... TOTAL COST FOR ME WAS $100.00..... 25 MINUTES OF MY TIME TO REPLACE LINE AND AN HOUR TO VACUUM AND CHARGE AC SYSTEM...THEY WANTED $1000.00 + TAX TO REPLACE $46.00 LINE.....AND AC RECHARGE SERVICE THEY ORIGINALLY WANTED $240.00.... Use them for your big dealership intervals like 60k. Doing my brakes they flushed the lines with alcohol to remove any water. Never heard of that. Doing my transmission flushes they have the equipment to get 100% of the fluid, not just a drain and fill.

However, in June, when I took my car in for its 150,000 service, Subaru Service informed us that my car needed its transmission replaced and quoted the job to cost $10,206. My family and I were skeptical of this and were recommended absolute autocare by a close family friend who said this mechanic shop is honest and run by good people. We took my car here for a second opinion and I am so glad that I did because they found that the dealership had lied to us, there was nothing wrong with my transmission and only my wheel bearings needed to be replaced which took the cost from $10,206 to $800 to get them done at the shop. I am so unbelievably grateful for these guys, suffice to say Absolute Autocare gained a new loyal customer and I will be recommending them to all my friends and family from here on out.
