Cha-Ching we got your money! YEP and there are moths still around the areas they decided THEY WOULD NOT Spray. After dealing with two other pest control companies I found these people. Given the positive ratings here, I can only assume that the service tech we got is not the same OR the service tech just decided to treat us poorly! Communication is everything! DUH. I have my own business. I have customers. I actually listen to my customers! Because they are paying me. These guys tossed aside everything I asked for in favor of take the money, run and when the customer puts up a terrible review cancel there warranty FAST! ANY excuse to cancel a binding contract will do but only after taking the customers money eh? Who does that? If your upset about a review then speak to your customer. Don't breach a contract for any frivolous reason. Hmmm first it was "I cancelled your warranty because you said your getting another company". Answer: For the termite/carpenter ant work you didn't do lady. Then the excuse was "because you didn't clear the pantry area properly". My Answer: Uhhh if that is the reason how is it you wait until the review but after you send me a zero bill. You understand digital communication is time stamped right? The review, the emails you sent me? Everything! Its called evidence for small claims court. Yep cause I work from home. I love small claims court even for diminimus contracts! Because I don't like bad service! 1. Original request: Please service our Pantry Moth infestation AND check for termites. For moths we need the whole house sprayed. Oh and we have BIRDS so we will stay in a hotel. 2. The guy comes out. I repeat the above. He checks for termites. He says they are "carpenter ants". I was shocked! I asked for Carpenter Ants servicing. He says its "another guy". He will contact me. 3. We agree on a date to spray for the moths. He comes the following week to drop some moth traps (so they can charge me). He leaves. I never hear anything about termites or the actual moth service date. I call the office when the schedule date comes and goes. Me: oh he scheduled some other date? Fantastic communication! BTW i had still not heard about the termite/carpenter ANT evaluation. Nada! 4. The new schedule date comes two weeks later 7.31.21, because i cant find a hotel...We clear out the kitchen pantry. (No small effort) and leave for a hotel with our Birds, Cat and dog (because he is spraying the whole house right?). My last words to the service person (after handing him a bottle of Dasani) I will be back before you leave. When will you be done? Answer: 30 min. 5. I come back he is gone. (He left the water on the table two swigs gone. Who does that?). He left our door unlocked. He sent not a single text alerting me. I was dumb enough to stop at a ATM to get him a $40 tip. DUH I later learn that he didn't spray the whole house for moths as requested. Negating the whole reason for the hotel stay). Just Imagine two adults slepping: two birds, two bird cages, bird food, cat, liter box, cat bowls, cat food, pug, pug food, pug bowls and a pug leach, through and over sold hotel. Just Imagine! For an unnecessary ONE Day local hotel stay PLUS pet fees $240) Yep Nope When I flipped out and posted a negative review, the genius behind this (tell the customer anything, then do nothing but get there credit card), motley group of thieves, emailed me that she was cancelling my warranty (I guess she is mad about my poor review). Her latest excuse was that we didn't properly clear out the pantry. That's because Robin, I was clearing out the other rooms you decided you were not going to do. Of course you are canceling my warranty Robin you have my money now eh.? I was always hesitant about giving all these pest control companies my credit card. There answer: "its to protect us". Sadly, there is nothing to protect the poor consumer from unprofessional thieves. Well except small claims court.

I will alter this review if their work doesn't hold up, so please take comfort if this is still here and still has five stars three months from now.) The thing is, when I woke up this morning to find a live bedbug walking across my comforter in front of my nose, I instantly went into full panic mode--not because bedbug bites are so terrible (you'll survive)--but because the PROCESS is MISERABLE. Here was what was horrible BEFORE I found Ecology Ep: *Landlord pretended like he'd never heard of such a thing, and only begrudgingly sent his "exterminator" who sprayed with generic chemicals around the perimeter and left me with hopping mad bedbugs. (Note to 25 year old me: Small Claims Court is your friend.) *I was poor and as a result (or so I thought) the guy I could afford said that I had to do a lot of work on my own. Meaning: *Bagging up everything I owned. *Carrying everything that I could wash to the laundromat. *Dry cleaning what I could afford to dry clean and throwing away the rest. *Buying a new mattress cover and putting it on my infested mattress all by myself. *Throwing out half my furniture. *And even then he had to come back twice, probably because I didn't do everything correctly (given that I was doing it all by myself.) Arnold put me through none of that. It was AMAZING. Here's why: *Great price written right on the website--and LESS than what I paid in 2007. That's shocking--you'll see why in a minute--but it was also great because it meant I could call my landlords and say: "Here's what we're doing, THIS is the price, you're legally obligated to pay for it, and we're doing it tonight before the problem becomes insane. Also, it's coming out of my rent." They said, "Oh my god oh my god fine!" *They guaranteed the work at the industry standard, also right on the website. Another thing I could tell my landlords. *They're licensed and insured and used proper invoicing, also great for dealing with landlords. *Ecology Ep showed up the same day I called. *Arnold brought a small ARMY of people. Four workers, all very sweet. *The price INCLUDED mattress covers for my bed AND my futon. *THEY put the mattress covers on (the worst job ever.) *THEY moved all my furniture--but I didn't have to throw anything away! *THEY bagged up all the things that needed washing. *THEY helped me carry all my stuff to the laundromat. *Instead of putting me through the cost of dry cleaning, THEY brought a steam cleaner and steamed all my good clothes. *AND they didn't just spray with Ecologically sound (but guaranteed!) chemicals, but they ALSO sealed the cracks in my floors and steamed all my books and things I probably couldn't clean on my own. *AND they found the bedbug nest. And killed those jerks. *AND they were extremely kind and lovely about it, from beginning to end. A real plus when you're traumatized by bedbugs. Also, I asked Arnold to check another property while he was in the area, and he found no bedbugs. He could easily have sold me on more work, but he didn't lie, above-and-beyond compassion and professionalism I found consistent with the negative review and his response listed here. Frankly, his straightforward response to the negative review on his free service was an additional reason for me to hire him. Arnold told me he has a lot of contracts now with a lot of large shelters, dorms, and schools, and I believe it. As a young single woman, Ecology EP's help was enormous at an unbelievable price. I strongly recommend them to others who need help.

(888) 347-2010, which is the one I'm reviewing) and it saddens me that this is my first Yelp posting ever, but my experience with Chemtech was so negative for squirrel trapping/removal that I had to post. First off, they require full payment up front, which is already an issue, but hey, I had a rodent emergency that seemed... somewhat straightforward, so I figured it'd get resolved quickly and went with it. Second, they can't adhere to any kind of schedule. While setting an appointment, I was dealing with "Steve" who said I wouldn't need to be present when they made their first inspection of the our house and the problem. As a result, I didn't set an official appointment and when the next day rolled around, I got a phone call at 7pm on my way home from work asking, "Where are you? We've been waiting for an hour." Their "inspection" then occurred at 8pm in the dark with a flashlight, when no one could really see anything. Two nights later they put up a couple of traps over some holes that were in spots completely unrelated to where the sounds in the house were coming from and... that was it! No additional searching (particularly in the area of the house that I indicated the noises were coming from), no checkups beyond what was done in the dark at night. And no visits. I finally needed to get some repairs done and asked them two days before the repairs began (around 3 weeks after the traps went up with no success because... they weren't in the right place) to remove the traps so work could begin. No response. So I had the repairmen remove them. Steve went ballistic saying that "his property" had been removed and I "let someone touch his traps." and ended it with "This case is closed." So. Customer service = 0. Value = 0 (They got a LOT of money up front for a total of around 1.5 hrs of work). Success = 0. Avoid at all costs.

I was impressed that Steve responded to my call and gave me an appointment on the same day especially it was the day before Thanksgiving. If they do actually spray or apply any pest control treatments, which you have to fight them to get them to do, because otherwise they will just walk into your place and say "looks good to me" and then leave, they will just blindly spray everywhere, including spraying toxic chemicals on clothes and furniture, unless you explicitly tell them not to do that. They are incredibly rude, I had to throw one of their people out of my apartment after he entered and began verbally harassing me and insulting the clothes that I had on. This is an absolute bottom shelf company, run and staffed by the most incompetent and lazy people I have ever encountered. If you are thinking of calling them, I would strongly advise you to call anyone else (ANYONE) or to considering doing it yourself, as they are not going to do anything anyways unless you fight them to do it. Their only goal is to come to your door so they can say that they came and collect their money, and then leave as fast as possible. I seriously doubt the authenticity of some of these other reviews, which are suspiciously enthusiastic and are all 5 stars, as the service that this cut rate company provides is no where close to 5 stars, or any stars.
