Booked two hotel rooms here for a night here. This spot ended up being very convenient due to the location and ease of check-in. I know some people dislike the virtual front desk, but I enjoyed how I was able to get checked in pretty seamlessly and smoothly for both of my rooms. The staff working the desk did great and answered any questions we had. There's two sides to the parking lot for this hotel, with only one side with the driveway open. Parking isn't free even though it looks free to someone who doesn't have a reservation here. You pay $15 for one car to park in your reservation per night, and an additional car is $20. They ask for the car color, make, model, and year of your car so just have that info prepared. Both of the rooms were pretty clean and impressive despite the old building this hotel is in. I slept well through the night as the AC/heater system was on and it was also easy to adjust and worked perfectly well. The TV isn't a smart TV and plays cable channels. There was a medium-sized mini-fridge to our delight and there was even a microwave included. Blowdryer in the bathroom with sample sized shampoo and conditioner. No ironing board, no pool, or personal gym. Elevator worked smoothly and there's a staircase to walk up at easily. You can use one of the two luggage carts at the lobby for a very smooth process with luggage. Easy drive to the Galleria mall and is also nearby many restaurants. Absolute trash unprofessional Hotel. I didn't cause any damage to the room, and they stole my $150 deposit. Evrytime I call some Asian lady just says "oh will tell my managers about this", super annoying. It's been over 2 weeks and I've been playing a cat and mouse game with trying to get money back that is legally mine. very unprofessional, they are crooks and they will steal your deposit. Great hotel for a great value. Clean, well stocked. The space was great, bed comfy, and loved the virtual check in. Only recommendation I would say is please change out the shampoo/conditioner. It has zero conditioner in there and would love a nicer sent. I have experience so much better out there, I can't imagine this was the choice. The hotel was ok. We didn't spend that much time in the rooms since we had a lot to do. There's no front desk and you check in through someone working on an ipad. It is very odd lol You can't really check in early until ~1pm ish. However, you can hang out at the lobby and enjoy the free coffee and sparkling water. Nobody told us you can get extra towels at this cabinet at the lobby until we saw someone get it. The cleaning staff are super nice so you can also ask them when you see them. The doors didn't have a dead bolt so I hope they can install that. They have parking but you have to pay per night. It was an ok hotel. read more

When we walked in the room there was a weird smell, there is no drain for the tub in the romantic room so the room will flood and it will not dry properly. When we left we forgot some jewelry in the drawer of the night stand since there is no safe in the room. When we called the front desk, which is a kiosk no one actually there, they did not respond for over an hour and when they did respond they said they couldnt check till the next morning. They said even if they did find it they would not mail and we would have to come retrieve it in person or coordinate with a third party courrier. When they did call back they said that the items were not found even though I described where they were and what they were. Also we checked out around 11 so housekeeping was there to clean the room right away. When I pulled up, I thought I made a big mistake. I thought it was a cookers dump. However when I got inside the lobby, it was beautiful and clean. Now the check in kiosk took me back because it was the 1st time there was no front desk. But the kiosk clerk was professional and took care of me. The room was great!! The only drawback was the shower pressure being low but the room and the staff were great!! Keep doing what your doing!! read more

I stayed for the night for a concert at the greek, felt safe coming back from the concert late at nite, relatively safe for solo women. staff even flashed my room number on screen so only I was able to see and did not say room number out loud . No breakfast but they have on tap sparking water and coffee for free. After I came back was hungry and grabbed some snacks in the lobby (vending machines) and sparkling raspberry water. I paid 90$ for one night but be aware there is a 15$ parking fee. Would recommend for greek theater goers. we stayed here for a week. the hotel itself is a two star at best.. the room is big and cleanliness is questionable. there's a refrigerator , microwave and tv. the hallway carpet looks dirty needs to be changed. the room smells like hospital disinfectant?? i can live with these but.. if you don't mind some shady looking guests smoking marijuana in the parking lot and i saw a woman with a bike she brought inside the hotel full of empty cans and plastic containers checking in . then it will be ok for you. the virtual check-in is nice. the evs staff are nice. if you don't get uneasy / queazy with this stuff.. this might be a suitable place for you. read more

Decided to stay here after a long day at Universal Studios, only about 20 minutes drive away. Impressed by how quiet the area stayed for the entire night. Customer service was excellent, very efficient check in & check out. The room we booked had the jacuzzi, very clean and easy to use. Be stayed at this hotel 1 it was good, clean, and felt safe. Love there accommodations and easy check in process. But I recently stayed again and it didn't go well. As we were checking in we noticed an awful feces smell, it was unbearable. Smelled super bad I believe a cleaning attendant was trying to spray down the smell but was still super bad. I am not one who normally leaves reviews, certainly not negative ones, but what my husband and I experienced in the past 24 hours was absolutely inexcusable. I'm not even going to go into the details of the check in process at the kiosk, which is ridiculous and should have been a huge red flag. Our confirmation upon check-in gave us a room Number on the 2nd floor, remote desk agent gave us a completely different room number and floor. We go to the room specified by the agent, room 309. We enter that room without issue. Upon sitting on the bed there is a huge sag on one side of the mattress. My husband and I are tired after a long day and after the issues with check in we did not want to risk any more issues with reporting the mattress issue. We probably should have. At about 1:30 this morning we wake up to our door being opened by another couple. They swear and leave very suddenly as we have now yelled and told them to leave. We try to call the desk with the in room phones, but the phone isn't working at all. We then try multiple times to call the desk agent from my husband's phone, no luck. We then make our way downstairs to speak with the remote agent, informing them that our room had been entered by another guest. After many apologies and a bit of talking the remote agent admits that they did not verify the identity of the guests that entered our room and just was in their words " so excited to help this guest " that when the guest gave them a room number, they just assigned it to them. That is absolutely unacceptable. What if we had been out? What if there had been an incident when our room was entered at 1:30 in the morning? I was unable to sleep the entire night as I was absolutely terrified and still feel violated and shaken up by this incident. Take this as a warning to not stay here. I'll be waiting for someone to contact my husband and I about making this right, before escalating this further. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. I had booked a hotel through booking.com for one of our make-up artists from Germany. First, they threatened to cancel the room because the name on my credit card did not match the name of the guest. True. So I had to join her for check-in. We arrived around 7:15 pm - not an unusual time for a check-in. "I'll be back by 7:47" was a sign posted - the only staff member was taking his break. Ugh. As we have a masterclass starting with 15 international guests today, I have been running since 3 am and was exhausted, and anxious to get home. So I was happy when the reception guy showed up early. He would not look at my driver's license or accept my credit - insisting I had to wait until 7:47. Now he had seen me I suggested I leave my driver's license and my credit card with the make-up artists - but he was not willing to budge. House Policy. In addition we learned that the hotel is deeply into renovation and excessive noise is to be expected - not that they bothered to mention this anywhere before we booked. I would have easily forgiven the renovation - but I, 61, can not recall ever been treated likes this - and wowed to never book this hotel again. read more

The first red flag when walking into this place: they no longer have a person to check you in, they have a machine which takes around 15 mins per person and usually accrues a huge line. After checking in, I walk into my room to find a huge cockroach and had to wait upwards of half an hour to try and get someone to change our room and they said no!! DISGUSTING then they said they'd have someone clean our room in the morning??? We ended up killing it ourselves as you can see in the pictures. Told me to wait for the manager around 7 am and I waited around in the lobby just for no one to show up. Absolutely terrible do not recommend staying here!!! read more

The hotel is near the 134 & 2 freeway intersection which was confusing to find the on and off ramps. I stayed at this place for a couple of hours in November of 2024 after finding the room through a 3rd party site. The room was nice and I was happy to have found the room at such an affordable price. However, as I was drifting off to sleep with the TV on, I saw a bug crawling on the TV. I immediately turned on the light to see the cockroach on the TV, and quickly spotted a couple of other roaches. I quickly gathered my suitcase and got out of there before any roaches decided to join me in my travels. I was especially disappointed by this experience because I thought I had found a decent, affordably priced hotel in the Los Angeles area. I was very happy with the room and the bathroom up until the time I spotted the roaches. I won't be back. I hope by now the roach situation has been corrected. This hidden jewel boasts large, modern, incredible rooms that far exceeded my expectations. The coffee machine was amazing with over 10 choices from hot cocoa on. If you're looking for a clean affordable stay, this is the place to stay. Its not the fanciest place but its not a crappy motel either. The beds are comfy. The ac takes a bit to make the room cold but give it some time and you'll have a freezing room in no time. The bathrooms are clean and provide small shampoos and bar soaps and towels. They have cable tv. We really didnt hear any noises throughout the night. Parking is available and you do pay a $15 fee. Its a simple, clean, nice, and affordable hotel! read more

Rooms are nice super clean . They got a coffee machine that makes all sorts of coffee and hot cocoa. Also a water dispenser that has flavors and also a caffeine shot. I loved that part the most. I stayed here December 17th after celebrating my birthday because it was better than driving 70+ miles home late at night: I am taking off 1 Star due to the lack of front desk staff: I arrived late, 9:15 pm and when I got to the front desk there was a line of 4 people & sign: "sorry we missed you, We'll be back at Clock face set to 9:30" This Is a sign of Terrible/Uncaring Customer Service. Heaven help there had been an emergency. I found out the others had been waiting since 9:00 pm. I am not complaining about the desk clerk having to take his dinner break, no, not at all. I'm peeved that the management doesn't give a care enough about its customers to have front desk coverage for breaks/lunches. You Do Not ever leave your front desk unstaffed, unless there is a dire emergency: Where was the manager, why wasn't the manager covering the desk during staff dinner breaks? The manager needs retraining, or a new job. SMFT: The room was clean, spacious, & comfortable. parking was a bit tight for my small SUV,. $15 for parking that is not monitored & has no gate is a bit much. The duvet kept me warm & although there was no clock, there was a microwave, so I was able to set the clock on it. The soap/shampoo provided was a welcome addition. The front desk clerks, when there were very friendly & more than helpful, taking time to help me find the restaurant I wanted to eat at. The coffee & flavored water was a nice addition, even if in the lobby.
