We attended a Quinceanera Party on Feb 7th, 2026. The area outside was decorated with lights on each tree and a Pink Cadillac out front!! A large welcoming area greets you before you enter the very large banquet room. The tables and chairs were a high quality as were the napkins, plates and glasses. The dance floor was a perfect size for our amount of guests. The staff was very attentive and always willing to help in any way they were asked. We were wedding guests twice at this venue. Nice place with a beautiful, scenic sunset by night. We had a made-to-order pasta bar at the wedding. Three different pastas, many toppings, and three sauces to choose from - marinara, meat sauce, and Alfredo. Food was delicious. Service was great. Appetizers and open bar was good too. I was a guest of a member for a Sunday round of golf. What a gorgeous golf course and practice facility. Easy to find and easy to park. The staff was kind and just the right amount of snootiness to let you know that this is still a country club. They made my buddy tuck his shirt in before leaving the check in counter. No, it wasn't me! The course itself is immaculate. The mulch was spotless and they had enough trees to block neighboring fairways. Fast greens, enough doglegs to compensate for the lack of significant elevation change (that means it's a relatively flat course) and no brown spots. I played horribly on this tough course but my handicap didn't go up. Tells you how tough it is. read more

We had our wedding at Glendora Country Club in June of this year and we couldn't have been happier to have chosen them as our venue. Our wedding was everything we could have dreamt of and the best day ever! The entire GCC team exceeded all expectations from the initial inquiry to the end of the wedding day. Denene had great communication from the start and Bertha was wonderful with all of the details and connecting with us and our planner. Things ran so smoothly from the tasting, to the rehearsal, to the wedding day. Chef Philip created appetizers, a meal and a dessert spread that all of our guests raved about! It was absolutely delicious and we still talk about how good it all was! The bartenders were fantastic as well! There are so many other people that were involved in our special day that I wish I could list them all by name because everyone involved should be applauded. The service we received was exceptional. We had refreshments as guests arrived, service during cocktail hour, and during the reception. All above and beyond our expectations! Our guests were so impressed by the impeccable service. The ceremony was held on the driving range and the range was in great shape that created a wonderful backdrop for our ceremony. Cocktail hour was hosted on the terrace outside of the dining room which allowed for a natural flow for the guests to move from the ceremony to cocktail hour. The reception was held in the main dining room so that the guests didn't have to go far to be seated. We loved that everything was close together but separate enough that it still felt like 3 completely different spaces. I recently had a surprise 60th birthday party at Glendora for my wife, and it was amazing!!! We met with Denene and Bertha and they made the occasion lights out. Chef Tommy killed it, the taco buffet was amazing and he personally checked in with us throughout the event to make sure our guests were happy and satisfied! Sonia our server went above and beyond to cater to our guests and my Wife on her day. Glendora/Azusa can be a food desert and sometimes you just don't want to make the drive to Pasadena or further for great food. Enter the CC. Our friends have a membership here and so we come often for dinner and drinks and I love it. We've had mean group dinners and such. I love their drinks, they are so create and delicious. Recently had the bourbon smash and then the smores martini for dessert. The branzino is phenmoneal and I love their charcuterie. You honestly cannot go wrong with anything on their menu. The pre-fixed dinner menu is great, but also ask for the regular menu. My only qualm is that during their Christmas party, there wasn't monitoring and all the little children were not being supervised and had their hands all of the cheese and other buffet items. It wasn't a surpise they had a covid outbreak after that party and shut down for a bit. We recently had the bread pudding and the texture was like any I've ever had. It was phenomnal. It was soft and moist, and just smooth in texture, almost like creamy. It reminded me of like a warm tres leches. read more

Had our combined retirement party at this location last Saturday. I can't say enough good things. From the beginning of the planing, with numerous changes on my part the staff there, especially Bertha Alvarez, were nothing less then exceptional. On the day of The event the staff was also fantastic I wish I could remember the two gentlemen's names. The chef even came out and introduced himself and asked me if I wanted any food. He must of seen me running around with my guests. The Bartenders were very attentive and engaging with my guests. I received nothing but compliments from my guests regarding he venue, food and drinks. I will find an excuse to host another event, just to use this facility again. This is a private country club. I love how intimate this place is. On Sunday they have Sunday brunch which is amazing. From Pancakes ,waffles. to omelettes. Saturday night we were here for a murder/detective dinner show exclusively for its members only. One of my good friend's husband is a director at this club and we were lucky to be invited and be a part of this event for also a celebration of my sister's birthday. The food was delicious. I had a pork chop topped with sweet mango pieces. My sister had a Chicken stuffed with meat dish. Dessert was crème brulee. The show was hilarious with a full cast and script and at the end of the show, if you choose who's the murderer of the show correctly, you win a prize! Our table won both prizes!! Last night December 20th, the GFWC La Verne/San Dimas Woman's Club had our yearly Holiday Dinner at your restaurant. The food was delicious, everyone enjoyed their meals. The chicken, salmon, and vegetable entrees were delightful. Your chef has a 5 star rating in our book! The seasoning made the entrees flavorful, the chicken and salmon were moist. Gnocchi and mushrooms were delectable, a very good choice to go with the entrees. One of our club members had the vegetable entrée she said it was to die for, she even took some home. The food was splendid it accented the holiday décor beautifully. Most of us got Holiday drinks, everyone chatted about how yummy they were. I had the Yule Mule which was fantastic, the only other ginger beer/vodka drink I've had was at Kings Fish house, in Victoria Gardens. I was very happy with my drink and so were the other ladies. The holiday décor reminded most of us of our childhood. Everything was so big and over the top but well presented, that it took our breath away. We were all taking pictures of everything and taking many selfies. We all really enjoyed the handcrafted center pieces. They were all elegantly done, you could even smell the Christmas fern leaves mixed in the arrangement. Your staff Hector, Adrian, Justin, and Bertha were all very professional and friendly. Bertha was very on top of her game, making sure everyone got the right entrees. Justin was very pleasant and had a warm personality he was a joy to have around. Hector or Adrian, one of them was afraid the doll on the tree was going to come to life and attack him, lol! Overall your staff was great, and you should be very proud of there hard work and dedication. You can really tell when an employee loves their job. read more

Do not have a large event here. The food is flavorless and dry for the expensive price point... maybe because of trying to cook a lot all at once is a lot to handle vs a regular day? The management team seems more annoyed about there being a lot of people at these banquet hall events than anything. If they don't want a lot of people there then why provide the option in the first place? The wait staff were very kind however, management is the only problem and made everyone very uncomfortable. Unfortunate seeing such a great venue have such poor management and poor communication. read more

Last played: 2/25/2012 I play here regularly Tees: White/Blue/Combo (Haven't experienced a huge difference in Blue vs. White, except for Holes 6 and 14) Practice: Matts are always lush - I'll hit off the grass on the lower level in the afternoons. Unfortunately, the chipping area is small, but the putting green will give you plenty of slopes to work through. Play: Pace of play is spectacular. Primarily a weekend golfer, I can easily get in 36 holes (On a weekend!) I've gotten spoiled: Not having to wait to hit or have someone behind you wait. Tip: If playing for the first time or bringing a guest, I would check with the pro shop first to see if there is a tournament scheduled (pace of play no doubt slows during a tournament). Condition of Course: Fairways are looking lush right now. The kikuyu fairways will take out some roll off your drives. This paired with some uphill shots has the course playing a bit longer than on paper. Greens are among the best in the area. Very consistent with good roll. It can get hard and very fast, depending on the day. The layout of the course creates interesting shot selection. You will need to get good at hitting draws, fades, and punches to recover from some errant drives. It's a real pleasure playing the course in a relaxed and accommodating venue. I actually do recommend it to my friends - there's not one person who didn't have a great time. read more

Why are there no reviews on this place? Do golfers not play on Yelp? Well, I did not golf, swim or play tennis with Biff and Miffy at this Country Club. I was here for a wedding reception and can only speak... or type to that. The reception area was nicely laid out and spacious. It was very well organized and the staff did a great job. The service throughout dinner was great. Also, there were a couple of good looking bar tenders that were very nice to keep my wine glass full. The reception area where we were had a balcony/patio area that opened up to the driving range area below. Very nice to step outside and get some air. So, if you are looking to host a party/wedding in this area, I would recommend this place. read more

Friends of mine were married here summer 2015. I rode my motorcycle there from San Diego because my Jeep was in the shop for repairs due to someone hitting me. When I arrived I asked for a safe place to store my backpack, helmet, and riding gear. The staff directed me to the changing room that the wedding party was using, which was nice because I was able to change as well. Sometime during the night the changing room was raided by someone who had keys to the lockers. They got into my locker, took my riding bag ($80), my car keys (which cost me $400 to replace and had my house keys as well), some prescription drugs, and various smaller items. I talked to the banquet manager who said he couldn't do anything about it at the time but to contact the general manager on Monday. Luckily the theft didn't include my riding gear and I was able to ride home to San Diego. Later that night, several hundred dollars in wedding gifts were also stolen. I've repeatedly tried contacting the general manager and so have the bride and groom. But general manager Art Bareras has refused to call me back or to take my call. I would avoid this place like the plague. Don't ever do business with them. They're crooks who will steal your things and never follow up with you. If I had driven my Jeep there is bet someone would have stolen it because they took my keys. read more

My family has been members for four years and we love it here!! The club is getting renovated this summer and the plans look amazing! Very chic! The food is ten times better now with the new Executive Chef. The pool area is great. You can order drinks and food by the pool. Everyone is really friendly and all the staff knows your name. Golfing is great! The greens are beautiful and challenging. I love to play with my husband. The kids are learning to golf and swim. All the holiday functions are fun and kid friendly. read more
