Great part three golf course that also comes with a driving range. The staff is always super friendly, and always go above and beyond to make sure that you're well taken care of. Especially Heather and Payton. They're the best. Their range has an option to record your shots, I believe it's the same program that they use in topgolf. Now, as far as the golf course, their greens are very challenging. Although it is a three par course, don't let that deceive you. You can work on your short game here, and definitely putting. The greens are by no means easy, you definitely have to pay attention to what you're doing and read the green. I will definitely be coming back to this location. I just wish that they offered a membership. Other than that, this is a great place to go with your friends or family. Highly recommended. read more

Glen Oaks is a par-27 executive 9-hole course located in beautiful Glendora, CA. It also has a Toptracer range and a classic range for those who do not want to use the Toptracer. It has standing bays and lounge-style sitting bays for bigger groups. This is my home range when I want to get some practice in or just have fun with the homies! A large bucket of balls is $13.00. They offer a small bucket for $11.00, but no one ever gets a small bucket, lol. They do serve breakfast and lunch items with weekly specials. Coffee, soft drinks, and beer are also served during their hours of operation. I have been coming to Glen Oaks Gold for 3 years. It's the absolute best range in the area that helps you hone your skills before you hit an actual course. ***This review is for restroom use only*** I was across the steet at Dawson Avenue Park Tennis Courts playing pickleball with my dear friend and her daughter. I must have had drunk lots of water because I was in need of the restroom. I walked all around the whole park and no restrooms to be found. The teen and family center was closed. I ended up walking across the street and found my self at Glen Oaks Golf and Learning Center. It's a facility with a golf course, a driving range, and a Toptracer range, as well as a bowling alley, plus food and music. Pretty neat place actually. Anyway, I asked the nice gentleman at the front desk if there are any restrooms available for use. He was kind to direct me to the restrooms within its facility. He also informed me that the teen and family center at the park across the street do have restrooms for use when they are open. He said any time I need to use the restrooms, just come on over. Thank you so much young man! Ladies room was clean and well stocked. I actually came back here two more times that evening to use the ladies room. Every time I returned, I found this place to be more intriguing. I have never played golf in my life. I've never even held a golf club. I'm coming back here next time not just to use the restroom, but to hold a golf club and hit some golf balls. I'll have to sign up for a lesson or two. It's all about the adventures in waiting! This gold course is a 9 hole par 3. I have yet to actually play the course, but the driving range is pretty decent. Unfortunately the green is a little dry, but still okay. They do have the option of driving on the tracer part, how accurate it actually is I am not sure. But still a neat little addition if you want to pay for it. A large bucket takes me and my husband a full hour to do and that is us taking our time. A lot cheaper than Top Golf. Overall great place that is close by. Will be going there more often to hit some golf balls. read more

the golf course is nice and the drive range is pretty fun, i just wish they took better care of the grass on the drive range it looks terrible. if there is one thing that has been bugging me for the past 2 years i have been coming here is the management. It seems like the manager, Mary Camaione, is notorious for micromanaging and making customers feel uncomfortable. I have always seen her prowl around like a vulture around the bays. I asked around one day while i was hitting the range and other golfers have had the same feelings about her. Her attitude comes across as very condescending. One time when i walked into the pro-shop, if the timing could not have been worse, she and another lady named Michelle were making inappropriate comments about another customer who had trouble speaking English, which is completely unacceptable in a customer-facing environment. cuaght mary once talking down to an employee and i felt really bad. It's a shame because the location and facility have plenty of potential, but the poor customer service and unprofessional behavior make it difficult to recommend. Management should seriously reconsider how customers and staff are treated here. This place may be cheaper than TopGolf but I recommend going to another drive range only if you want to avoid Mary. read more

Was a first time customer to this place. They have some stupid rule that every golfer needs to carry a bag with no exceptions, I was not aware when I paid for the tee time, but don't worry they have bags you can pay to rent. My wife is pregnant so I figured we just take 1 bag. This type of swindle business is bs. They couldn't even give me a refund and so graciously gave me 1 bucket of balls for the range. I am a regular at Glen oaks. We either play on the 9 holes course or spend time at the range. I have not very had any issues until today. We were playing a virtual game on the top tracer. We had 12 minutes left to complete our time and we ran out of balls. I ask the gentleman working there in charge of the servers, if we could get a handful of golf balls so we could finishing the time we had left and finish up playing the 2 holes we had left on the virtual game. He smiled and said yeah and walked away. He didn't say no. He never brought the golf balls so our time expired. On the way out I asked him why he didn't give us the courtesy of bringing the golf balls so we could finishing our time. He apologized for not being able to do that. I don't understand I have the rewards program there. I am there at least once or twice a week. I explained to him that we are there all the time. Giving a regular customer a hand full of golf balls is not going to break them. This gentleman needs to learn a little about customer service. This is not a restaurant or a business where you are giving away capital. These golf balls are recycled many times over. It cost nothing to giveaway a few golf balls to keep a customer happy. read more

Come with the mindset that you're here for a chill slower pace round of 9 holes and you'll have a good time. Pace is a bit slower. I'd say it's a great course for a first time golfer. Expect golf balls to be flying from multiple directions. Tee boxes: I would recommend teeing from the grass if you can find a good patch or a low tee, the mats when I was there were pretty crusty, leaving a hard residue on my wedge. read more

As a Glendoran, I'd like to give Glen Oaks a higher rating, but I think 3 is fair... depending on what you're looking for. There are certainly a few things that have improved and would have me lean towards a 4 or 5... but, here's my take on a 3 rating... 1 - website wasn't helpful. Tried seeing if u could get coffee there upon arrival, but it said nothing about the snack shop inside. I knew they use to have it but now they have a venue outside for Top Golf, so I wasn't sure. I saw the hours of that food vendor but they didn't open till after we'd be gone. 2 - arrived to hit a bucket of balls with my son. There are now only a couple of poorly placed bays that are not Top Tracer. So, we paid for a TT bay for an hour which doesn't include any balls and then bought the largest bucket of balls they offer. 3 - cost: the TG bay was $15 for the hour and the balls were $11. So $26. But, their payment app had a tip screen and added $5. I was talking with my son and tapped through (my fault). I don't mind tipping a little but I didn't mean to do that. Oh well, now it was $31.20 for the hour. The guy just rang me up for a $5 tip. Haha. 4 - value: oh wait, what, that's the large bucket? Somehow they lost all their former large buckets. They handed me what amounts to a small bucket at every other range I've ever been to. I walked back in and said I paid for a large and was then told that was their large bucket. Again, oh well. 5 - play: TT is interactive and fun, but almost all the bays are TT now. The couches and covered bays are super nice and if I was hanging out with buddies and enjoying a beer, I'd say the price and setup would lean to a 4 or 5 for me. But, let's go back to me reason for being there on Sunday morning. My son and I wanted to hit some balls. About 40 min in we were through our 'large' bucket of balls. And, that was even with taking lots of time between our turns and messing around with the TT screen. So, $31 for 40 minutes on the range. Not enough balls to even call that a practice. And I wasn't about to drop another $11 for a 'large' bucket when we would have only had 15 min left by the time we got back. So, all in all, we'll be finding anywhere but Glen Oaks for our next time at the range. If it's a guy's night to enjoy a beer and hit some balls, I could argue it's a good place for that. But, it use to be a great place for hitting with my son. Just know what you're going there for. 2/3 for cost and value to hit some balls and practice. 4/5 for hanging with buddies over a beer. So, I land on a solid 3. I think they could do both. read more

Glen Oaks has a nice range with TopTracer at reasonable prices especially if you come at a non-peak hour. However, for the 9 hole Par 3 course, the holes are often under repair and the tee boxes are often not prepared and closer up to the hole than intended. Prices are pretty low but still it can be disappointing to come up to a hole intended to be 110 yards and it ends up only being 80 yards. read more

I'm updating this review just about a year later and honestly it's more of the same. Old golf balls that need to be rotated out with new ones rotated in. The mats and rubber tee are all worn and also need to be replaced. I'm sure this place is making a lot more money than it was a year or so ago with all the added services like meals and drinks while you hit. The price for a bucket is still good but just make sure you're not going during a "peak" time or else they make you use top tracer and charge you an extra $20 added to your bucket of balls. Like I said before... it's a nice little par 3 course but the range needs to be updated with new equipment. Glen oaks should take a second to concentrate on the small things. read more

I've been here twice to use the driving range and I am impressed with the cost and the availability of the TopTracer Range! The prices are extremely reasonable with the ability to pay for different sizes of golf ball baskets, rent clubs, and play at the TopTracer range. I came with 3 coworkers to play TopTracer and we all had our own clubs. We spent two hours challenging each other to different virtual courses. I can't praise the TopTracer experience enough. For any player, being able to see the trajectory of the ball, distance, and other details of the shots is invaluable! I feel spoiled now since there are limited options of TopTracer golf near my home. In addition, we took advantage of the food options and ordered a Pepperoni Pizza and some Buffalo Wings. Been going here for quite a long time and today's experience was the worst I've ever seen, so disappointing. John Ellena, man who gives lessons here, just approached a family and kicked them out. Apparently you are not allowed to teach your young children how to hit the ball. He demands to pay him money for private lessons and insisted that is the only way for them to learn. This is ridiculous, I've never seen anything so rude and cruel. John Ellena was neither polite or professional to this family. He approached them with an attitude that resembled him being insulted. I know what the rules are and they are not to prevent you from showing your 4 year old how to hit a golf ball. This was ugly to witness. I have been playing here since 2005 and the Glen Oaks Golf and Learning Center has changed considerably since my first round. The course layout is basically the same. You can tee off the natural grass or mat in most holes. The sand traps are new and some of the tee boxes have been remodeled. The greens are tough and I couldn't one putt. The driving range is now high tech and there is convenient table service (food and drinks) to your driving range stall. The center is sports fan friendly to practice with friends and have food/drinks. The customer service has always been great and there are some nice discounts for seniors.
