He told me to buy new shoes. He wanted to schedule a follow up appt which I quickly declined. He doesn't listen to what you're telling him. Had to repeat myself several times September 2024 I visited Dr Oghoorian at pacific foot and ankle. He diagnosed my issue as being a neuroma inside three minutes without the use old fancy equipment. I am now receiving treatment and am on the road to being pain free. I feel ripped off going to Dr Goldblatt. He doesn't have a clue about very common conditions. I question his competency. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.

From admission to discharge, everyone that crossed my path was friendly, professional and gentle! Special commendation belong to: -RN ANYA PEREZ, who was incredibly gentle in inserting my IV into my hand. If the old saying about how you can tell how good a nurse is by the type of shot she/he administers is true, then Ms. Perez is top shelf!!! I even appreciated how she used alcohol prep pads to carefully pre-moisten tbe edges of the super-adhesive EKG stickers which were affixed all over my arm and chest- In a lifetime of time spent in hospitals Anya was the very first nurse who took the time + effort to "soften the sting" of removing those bandages. (Those who are blessed with similarly hairy arms/chests, like me, well understand full well what I'm taking about!) -Finally, special thanks to my treating ER physician, Dr. Andrew Nguyen. The good doc was THE PICTURE of professional and calm, exuding the epitome of excellent bedside manner as he took command of ky case, ordered a battery of tests and reassured me that my heart is just fine. All this despite a midday blitz of activity that had this small, community based ER operating at full throttle. SDCH continues to be a boon to its community and we residents of San Dimas, Glendora and Diamond Bar treasure it.

Worst hospital I've ever been in. Talk about negligence (can definitely elaborate, just message me…read morepersonally), talk about unprofessionalism (doctors and nurses), and lack of care and quality...we were discharged without any answers. We were discharged after 3 days and they gave no answers as to the symptoms. Only thing they said was to go straight to surgery. Why surgery when nothing was found in the Ultrasound, MRI, and CT Scan? Oh I know why...wo the doctor can bill you and collect from your insurance...thats why! The entirety of stay was deep down disgusting (bedsheets had blood stains and another had some kind of yellowish stain), power outages a and broken call remote, and nurses that can not give you answers or reassurance. I don't know, but this place downright nees to reevaluate their staff. Yes, and when submitting for your medical records, don't trust what's on the discharge papers or whatever paper they give you...the email address they provide is WRONG! Now the release of medical record will be delayed indefinitely unless you call them personally to check in the status. They will tell you to resubmit. I have so much more to say and share, but just STAY AWAY! Their website say they are known for their "family-like environment"...from my experience...eh... no. If you want quality care, professionalism, and professional doctors that REALLY CARE, go elsewhere...anywhere but Dan Dimas Community. There is a reason why I'm posting this. Don't trust the website...Award winning? Seriously? And its "physician owned"? Enough said.

First let me start by saying I've been a patient of Naim Kassar for many decades. I have 5 kids…read morewhich he delivered. Never once have I had a negative experience. He is always in a great mood, polite, he has a cute personality and just makes me feel completely comfortable. I want to add my 25 year old daughter is a patient of his as well. She's been with him since she was 18. She also feels completely comfortable with him. Dr.Kassar has done a few surgeries on me which were done at Foothill Press Hospital in Glendora. Yesterday I had bladder surgery of course done by Kassar but this time at the surgical center behind his office. I'd like to say the staff there is outstanding. Jasmine was my nurse. She was great! Jasmine was super friendly, My anxiety was through the roof. I'm the biggest chicken when it comes to needles. She did a great job on my IV. She paid close attention to everything I had to say with all my concerns. She really explained everything thoroughly and made sure I understood. She continuously checked on me to make sure I was comfortable. She's a huge asset to this surgical center. For the life of me I can not remember the lady's name who was my anesthesiologist but she was great. Very personable and also explained everything thoroughly. She could tell my anxiety was high and gave me medicine through my IV to help me out. It made me relax and feel 100x better...She talked me through everything all the way up to when I went to sleep. She's great. Super sweet and great at her job. Thank you very much to all the staff at this surgical center for making my surgery a breeze:-) MB

I had a surgery here in December of 2024 & the main nurse Shes a little small Asian lady (so sorry…read moreforgot her name) is not professional and not good at her job. She did my IV before my surgery and didn't actually get a vein, I told her my arm was getting swollen and she said it was fine. I flagged down a guy nurse who was about to wheel me in, I told him it didn't feel right, he looked and his eyes widened immediately. (edit: he was actually the anesthesiologist now that I remember) He told the nurse she was wrong and didn't get a vein, they had to start a new one. You could tell his frustration with her was a constant thing. Fast forward, my aunt had surgery here about a month ago. What do you guess happened.... SAME SITUATION, SAME NURSE. I think it is ridiculous, she is rude and has the worst bedside manners for a nurse to begin with but she's also not good at her job. This is a scary thing for us undergoing surgery and she tries to act like little mistakes happen & while yes I understand they do, this is just toooo coincidental for me. Two people, same family, years apart. Scary. Anyways, not to scare people but just want to inform people. Advocate for yourself. Don't let this nurse gaslight you. It's your life & your body!

If I could give zero or negative stars I would…read more This place is so dirty. I am embarrassed I even took my child here. The doctor had zero clue why we were there and kept referring to my son as a she. Clearly he did not read the charts and prepare for our appointment. Everywhere you look it's dirty. The main front window it's shattered. The office is disgusting. No one should ever get anything done here. It smelled nasty. No one who works there is friendly the doctor is rude and very strange. There is no way I'd want him anywhere near my butt. This place needs to be shut down. No one should have to go here for any reason. Was sent here for a consultation for surgery. There is zero chance I'm letting this creepy man anywhere near my child's butt. The fact he couldn't be bother to read a chart before talking to us and couldn't tell by looking that my child was a boy is disturbing. It's absolutely disgusting, dirty, run down and everyone who works there is rude and clearly could care less about the appearance of this office. The doctor was a joke. And I paid $35 copay. If it was solely up to I would never have gone inside this building the broken window and how rundown the outside was enough for me to know what the inside would be like. I've been to nicer vet clinics. When we were parked I told my husband I didn't want to go in. He said not to judge a book by the cover. Walked in and I saw all I needed to see and told my husband that I didn't feel comfortable here. He said we should at least see the doctor. So we did. Big mistake. Should of just listened to my gut and kept driving and never went in.

If I could give Dr. Sachin Patel and Garey Orthopedic zero stars, I would…read more My brother was referred to Dr. Patel directly from urgent care because he was experiencing excruciating neck and shoulder pain. His arm and hand had gone completely numb, and he was in so much pain that he could barely sit still. Throughout the appointment he was visibly writhing in pain. The urgent care physician had already done what they could and referred him to an orthopedic specialist because they believed he needed further evaluation and treatment. Even though Garey Orthopedic was able to get him in relatively quickly, it still took several agonizing days for the appointment while my brother continued to suffer. At the time, we were grateful to be seen sooner than expected. Looking back after our experience, I couldn't help but wonder whether the availability had less to do with efficiency and more to do with patients choosing not to return to this place. We walked into this appointment expecting expertise, answers, and, at the very least, compassion. Instead, we were met with one of the most cold, dismissive, and uncaring physicians I have ever encountered. Dr. Patel came into the room, asked my brother what was wrong, and while briefly checking his grip strength, asked when the symptoms began. Within just a few minutes he said my brother needed an MRI and then asked, "Are you open to an MRI?" We found that question baffling. We weren't there to decide for ourselves what diagnostic tests should be performed. We were referred to an orthopedic specialist because we expected a physician to evaluate him and determine the appropriate course of action. The most upsetting part of the visit came when we asked what could be done to help manage my brother's unbearable pain while waiting for the MRI. Dr. Patel's response was simply, "Go to the ER." We asked if Garey Orthopedic did not treat pain, and he again replied, "No. Go to the ER." There was no explanation other than an arrogant response the he is a surgeon and if my brother came looking for pain relief he couldnt help him. No discussion of why that was his recommendation. No acknowledgment that the patient sitting directly in front of him was in obvious agony. No empathy. No compassion. Every response felt abrupt, irritated, and dismissive, as though our questions were an inconvenience. I understand that physicians have limits on what they can prescribe or treat. If Dr. Patel believed the emergency room was the appropriate place for pain management, that could have been explained with professionalism and compassion. Instead, his demeanor conveyed complete indifference to someone who was clearly suffering. Later, we asked the nurse if he could be referred to a pain management doctor and she was able to give us a couple of names. At this point however, I don't think I would take that their referral for anything. We accepted the MRI referral because it was necessary, my brother paid his copay, and left. Before we were even out of the parking lot, we had already decided my brother would never return to Dr. Patel. We immediately began looking for another orthopedic physician because we had absolutely no confidence that someone with so little compassion was the right person to oversee his care. A physician's responsibility extends beyond ordering tests. Patients deserve to be heard, informed, and treated with dignity, especially when they are in obvious distress. My brother came to this appointment desperate for help. He left feeling dismissed, unheard, and no closer to finding relief. After reading many of the other reviews, I now understand that our experience was not unique. I only wish I had read them before scheduling this appointment. If you are looking for an orthopedic physician who listens, communicates, and treats patients with compassion, our experience with Dr. Patel was the complete opposite. I cannot recommend Dr. Patel or Garey Orthopedic based on the way my brother was treated.

I thought if I could find a suitable alternative to burdening my friends and family, I should take it. I know there are facilities that you can go to, but I wanted to be able to be in my own home, in my own bed, in the surroundings I was familiar with. I think this really helps settle your mind when your body is working so hard to heal. My doctor's office highly recommended Era Health and Wellness because I was hoping to find a private nurse to come help me in my home. Kitura, the coordinator, immediately contacted me and made arrangements for one of their expert nurses to assist me as well as arranged for all my transportation needs to and from my doctor visits. Kamerina was my nurse. She made sure all my routine was followed as prescribed by my doctor. She did everything you can expect from a nurse at the hospital without the need to wait for immediate attention when you're in pain. This was extremely comforting. She went out of her way to make sure I was not in any stress and even went on errands to pick up prescriptions and meals. Kitura, also even prepared one of my meals, having been trained at a culinary school. This was a special treat for sure. Having put the worst part of my recovery behind me now, I cannot imagine doing it without the help of Kamerina and Kitura. They were incredible!
