Went for a visit with 2 of my dogs with Dr. VanTilburg only one was scheduled for a physical my other dog Finn was just supposed to see a tech for heartworm test . I told the Dr my concerns about a growth on my Finn's paw. Even though my dog was not scheduled for an exam he did a biopsy of the growth and even analyzed it under a microscope and precribed an antibiotic since it thankfully turned out to be a just an infection. This office has great caring Doctors that do not gouge you. I can't recommend this office enough! read more

I have been coming to this vet office for about 5 years. The staff is amazing! One thing I love is that they don't push things and do their best to do conservative measure. I came back in tonight because one of my dogs have been throwing up and diarrhea on and off for 2-3 weeks. I came fully expecting that they would want to do X-ray and labs. But the vet wants me to do 3-5 days of bland food, and if that doesn't work then we will do the testing. I fully trust the vets here to do what's best for my dogs and my wallet! read more

We've been taking our dog here since we got him 15 years ago. The staff are always very friendly and willing to help. This is the only vet we've ever taken him too. I will say that every time we go on there, they always say he needs some shot or another round of bloodwork which is frustrating because it's all so expensive. I imagine that it's pretty typical though. The facility is gorgeous and the staff is always very accommodating with scheduling appointments right when I need them. The front staff and techs are always friendly, helpful and happy to see the various pets who come in. Low grades for the front end as they seem to lack adequate communication resulting in long waits or multiple trips for medication. We recently neutered our dog here. They were very unprofessional and ignorant towards his after care. Instead of providing him with pain killers and antibiotics, they gave us an anti-inflammatory saying it was a pain killer. We later noticed he was in agonizing pain, wincing when trying to sit down, shaking in his back legs, and even whining while trying to lay down or sit. We called them and asked for pain killers and finally got some. However, about a day and a half later we noticed immense swelling. His pain had gotten much worse and he could hardly stay put for more than 30 seconds. We called again asking for a follow up appointment to which they said "We don't need to see him, we will refill his painkillers." The amount of irresponsibility portrayed here was ridiculous. We called about 4 or 5 times that day and they kept avoiding scheduling an appointment. Finally they said we could bring him in. We found out he had a bacterial infection/hematoma. This absolutely could have been avoided had they provided him with antibiotics from day one. As if they hadn't done enough harm, they started questioning us, trying to hold us accountable for their negligence. Their lack of accountability and communication is absolutely impermissible. Our dog should have been getting better and instead he drastically deteriorated. read more

We have been taking our dogs to Glenmoore Veterinary Hospital since 1992 and would not take them anywhere else. Dr. Tremoglie treated our 11 year old lab yesterday for osteoarthritis in her back legs and hips. He suggested two different treatments that would help. I asked him which he would recommend as I trust him implicitly. He suggested the one that had no side effects first and we went with that. This practice has been right on, extremely helpful and understanding since we started taking our dogs (6 in all) to them. I would like to start by saying that my family loves Dr. Ciaverelli. If you do decide to go to this vet after my review, ask for her and stick with her. She's the only one we trust. She is great. The service that we received from the other doctors and nurses can only be described as negligent or a complete lack of care for our dog. It started about a year ago when someone other than Dr. Ciaverelli diagnosed our dog with a strain when he actually had cancer. The doctor was short and even felt cold to the point that we did not feel that she had a vested interest in our dog. I submitted a formal complaint to the owner and this time he actually reached to me to address my concerns. The poor care continued when our dog needed to come in for X-rays earlier this year. They said that they needed to sedate him and to not feed him food or water after 12pm. They ended up not sedating him and when we picked him up at 2pm and it was clear that he wasn't given any food or water all morning. The last straws were last month when our now 3-legged dog (because of the cancer) fell down the stairs and we could not stop the bleeding. We called the emergency line 5 times and never heard back. Luckily, we were able to stop the bleeding but I wanted them to address why the emergency line did not work. I sent an email and never heard back from the office manager or the owner. Because of the fall, he needed one of his nails removed which required a bandage for a week. We needed to go back 4 times because the nurses did not do it correctly. One time, they covered his entire leg including his paw which doesn't work even for a 4-legged dog. He also had sores on his leg for weeks because the last bandage was applied directly to this fur. The best part is they charged us each time to put the bandage back on. When we sent an email to the office manager and owner this time, we said that we have decided to move onto to another vet. No one ever reached out to apologize or to address our concerns. They just sent our dog's records in the mail with another $38 bill for the last bandage. We kept coming back because we love Dr. Ciaverelli and the vet is close to our house but we should have left sooner. In all of our emails, we said that we are hoping that improvements are made from our experiences and that we do not want others to experience the same things. Not responding to our last two emails shows their complete lack of caring. I hope that this review either prevents you from experiencing what we did or pushes Glenmoore to make some changes. read more

I am always so pleased with my visits at Glenmoore Veterinary Hospital. A few years ago, I was going to another local vet and they were charging astronomical rates and the staff was rude. At Glenmoore Vet, it's the complete opposite experience. The last time I scheduled an appointment, I believe I spoke with Tiffany. She was very understanding of my concern for my dog and was extremely personable and professional on the phone. When I went for my appointment, the staff at the front desk were very welcoming, and greeted me as soon as I walked in and checked me in right away. This transcended into the vet techs and the vet as well. Everyone is so friendly and willing to take the time to address any questions/concerns that I had for my dog, Gracie. Dr. Tremoglie is caring & kind and in my view, a born surgeon. He takes time with each problem and lets you understand what is going on with your pet. He truly loves animals and I think that is a big part of what it takes to be a good vet. (I have met vets who could not stand cats, it just shows) Dr. T. also makes sure he keeps up with what is going on in the animal medical world. Dr. Roesener is also very good and I like Dr. Koehl. I've had cats to see Dr. Koehl and once had a pitbull in to see her. She was excellent with the pit! I truly like and recommend all three of them. read more

I honestly would rate this veterinary hospital with no stars due to their unprofessional office representatives and unqualified office manager. My mother and father had a bad personal experience where they were having trying times and needed the family cat seen for a pretty severe circumstance. My mother's friend offered to cover the cost until she could pay her back, so she gave one of the representatives named Naomi aka "Sherry" her card, as my mother's friend had offered her help in the past, and my parents could hear Sherry discussing their financial business to the office manager, named Becky. Then, Becky said to my parents aloud, in front of everyone in the office, "Why don't you wait until you have money to bring your animal to the vet, instead of relying on your friend to pay it?". Then, my mom explained (even though she shouldn't have to) that they have a payment plan worked out. The office manager said "you shouldn't take advantage of good people and your animal can wait until you have the money or you should give it to someone who can afford it's vet visits." My parents were humiliated in front of the whole office and other customers as all the office representatives were chuckling on their way out. There was no excuse for there behavior in treating people that way and in assuming that my parents have no money. Just because families may go through some downtimes in the workplace, does not mean they are not capable of loving and caring for an animal in need. Otherwise, why would they even bother borrowing the money from their friend? This is unacceptable in every way and they crossed so many business confidentiality lines than they even know, which is why they will be hearing from my lawyer. read more

The staff is always very friendly and they do all they can to make our pets feel safe and calm. I'd give zero stars if I could. My perfectly healthy 1 year old dog went there for a routine neuter surgery and died 12 hours later from massive internal bleeding. I wasn't notified that he was in distress until 15 mins before closing. He barely had a blood pressure and was ice cold when I got there, and he certainly didnt get that way in a short time. They either neglected him all day or they knew they made a mistake and waited until the end of the day knowing I'd have to take him to 24 hr location. Either way, my family lost our beloved pet and they claim no liability. read more
