They advertise that they can do home test drives so I scheduled one for the next day. I recieved a confirmation text the next day which I replied to. Stayed at home expecting the car which never came so I texted if I should continue to expect anyone. I got a reply stating their inability to find someone for the day and if I could reschedule. I was looking forward to buying the car soon so I asked if the next day was available. After some time I got a reply that they cannot really come at all and suggested using an 'Uber or Lyft' to get there! I was turned off right away, especially the inability to keep their word or the courtesy to let me know that they are canceling my test drive appointment. read more

I've purchased two parts from Glenn Ford over the past 10 years, and both experiences were awesome. This isn't an internet enabled Ford.com dealer, you'll have to call and ask for prices. That being said, unlike every other "not ford.com" Ford parts dealer, you'll actually get a very reasonable price and while they may not have the part you need in stock, they'll get it quickly. Most other non-internet Ford Parts dealers charge about double MSRP for parts, this dealer seems to be more in line with what the part actually costs. read more

I took my truck to the dealership to get the oil/fuel filter changed and the tires rotated. I supplied ALL of the oil and all filters. Before hand I called and spoke with a lady about scheduling an appointment. She advised me to just walk in. I then inquired about the cost since I was supplying all of the parts so it would just be labor. She said it would be around $80. This is pretty close to what I paid at my old dealership. An hour later I walk in and speak with Cole about the oil, fuel filter and tire rotation. He advised it'll be a couple hours because he has three cars in front that haven't been taken back. No problem I just leave my truck there. I leave at 3:50. At 5:05 I get a call that my truck is ready. I go into the shop and the clerk advised me it will be $300.57. Naturally my response was this better be a joke. I ask to speak with the service writer. He advised he has left. He then tells me I was charged with "the works." I did not know what that was but I do know I usually $75 at my old dealership for the same exact service. The guy then tells me I agreed to have the DEF tank filled.....I DONT have a DEF system on my truck. When i advised him i didn't have a DEF system his answer was, "well i really don't know how the DPD and def works!" My response was, " you work at a dealership in the service department that sells diesels!" At this point I was livid because it was clear they were attempting to screw me. I asked to speak with the service manager. The service manager is a nice guy and the only reason there are two stars. He started telling me the oil change labor was $99 and the fuel filter change labor was $179 but he has discounted it and then the DEF. We settled on a price after I showed him my previous receipts from the other dealership for $56 for the SAME service minus a tire rotation. That means they were gouging or charging $243 for a tire rotation. Not only that I have to now go empty a DEF tank full of fluid that I don't have. Needless to say I will not be returning and I'm nervous they even touched my truck. The service manager advised I should use the other dealership for my service as they couldn't touch their prices. Okay... I will say that the dealership as a whole? Eh. I was actually quite annoyed at first, because I walked into that dealership prepared. I had been doing my research. I knew exactly what make/model car I wanted. I had looked at their inventory online and made an appointment. I was told that when I got to the dealership that I would be meeting with the manager and to tell him that I was a VIP and he would take good care of me. I walked in, saw the manager for two seconds who said "I was told you were coming, DJ will take care of you." So I was immediately passed off to someone else. First thing that annoyed me. No offense to DJ, but he admitted within the first minute of talking to him that it was his very first day. I thought "Ok... it may be his first day, but I'll give him a chance." I realized seconds later that this was not going to work. He obviously was not quite experienced enough to be dealing with customers by himself just yet, so I apologized profusely but asked for a more experienced salesman. I needed someone who could talk to me about the ins and outs of the vehicle. Who knew what he was talking about. Unfortunately DJ couldn't even tell me about the Fusion when left for a few minutes as the other salesman went to go get the car I requested. The salesman I did end up with, Wes Walker, was great. He was exactly who I would have preferred dealing with from the start. Personable. Knowledgeable. He did include DJ during the entire sales process, which I was happy about, because I truly just thought he needed more training and he would have been fine. I ended up walking out with the exact car I wanted. I paid a little more than I would have preferred, but I'm happy about my gorgeous new car. Even though we were willing to pay the asking price (which is significantly above kbb price), we weren't willing to pay an extra 10% ($600) for their dock fee. So if you're pulled in by their Internet ad and price, you might want to call ahead before making the drive in and ask what their total cost is. read more

Paul Millers service department could learn from Ben and his service team. Paul Miller dropped the ball on my 2013 Raptor, which they sold me 2 yrs ago, with poor service, long hold times on the phone. Service manager a few weeks ago at Paul Miller told me it would take them 3-4 days to get me into their service department for a battery check. Told them that was unacceptable, they then advised me to try another Ford service center! So I filed that remark away in my mind. I ended up troulbleshooting my battery issue and got a replacement. Two weeks ago I called Ben at Glenns and explained I needed a set of tires ASAP! Ben made the call to his warehouse after our conversation which was on a Thursday for availability and pricing. He called me back within minutes with a price, which was significantly lower than Paul Millers quote and told me he could get me in that Saturday first thing. Took my truck in that Saturday met Ben. I waited a little longer than expected, however Ben apologized and gave me a dicount on my tires. So I owe a big thank you to Paul Miller for turning my business away and allowing me to find Glenn Fords awesome service center. Glenns sevice center just gained a loyal customer. It's simple! Marius is the man and truly cares about the happiness of his customers. He wants you leaving in a new or preowned vehicle from their lot. It took 3 or 4 trips over there before Marius made the deal happen. Terry was also extremely out going through the whole process. He will do as much as he can to make sure you get the best deal possible. It might take a couple attempts but he honestly is on your side. Service dept was closed. I spoke with a sales manager. I was told that I should of bought the truck from them and to take it to Autozone to see if they could fix it. I fully understand parts break and fail. It is what it is. I did expect better customer service though. I contacted ford directly. I asked for the truck to be towed on Saturday. They wouldn't tow it to this dealer until Monday. What kind of roadside assistance is this? Dealer does not want responsibility of truck on the lot all weekend. Apparently they have a huge problem with break ins at this dealer, on top of their problems with customer service. When I contacted ford directly i asked if I could call Henry Ford on Monday. LOL. After purchasing truck on 11-04-2016 I discovered the rebates totaled $6300 and Glenn Ford kept the additional $750. I have spent 9 days, been LIED to numerous times, regarding why this happened. Let me start this out by saying I love the idea of a car dealership. There is something about feeling a bit of control with the buying power that I truly enjoy. I hate the likes of CarMax that don't allow you to "flex your muscle" and make a stand for what you want. That being said, Glenn Ford has found a way to bridge the gap from high-pressure lot vultures to easy-going salesfriends. I purchased a used, 2012 Ford Edge Limited from Glenn back in November. This was after a trade-in of my fun car, but the wife wanted something safe and good for the 3 days of bad weather we have here in Kentucky. I worked with DJ over several weeks, going back and forth between new and used. New just wasn't in the cards for us at the time because of the payment, but I wanted a new Edge so bad. Throughout the literal weeks of looks and talking with DJ, I never once felt like I was wasting his time or being pressured into something I didn't want to do. We found the used Edge online one day, went in, drove it, and were out the door an hour or so later after doing paperwork. I got a fair value for my car, and Glenn did what they could on the Edge. That is the bridge they have created. They do not price their vehicles thousands above others so they can say they are saving you more than anyone, and they do not give you a weak trade value. Their cars are listed to sell at a very competitive price, and they will offer you fair market value for your trade. I went back a few weeks ago because I felt the old Altima I was now driving was someone sucking some life force from me. DJ is transitioning to financing, so we started to work with Branden. Again, no pressure at all, very fair value on the trade, great price on the used car. Yet again, we went back and forth between new and used, and though new is feasible, I hate the idea of losing that depreciation so early on. These guys are so great and care so much about you getting the right vehicle, that when I considered going to Columbus to look at a used Fusion, it was Branden who took the initiative to look up the CarFax and let me in on the fact that the car had been wrecked, relocated several times, and had several owners. Once I was off his lot he could have left me to figure it out on my own, but they do truly care. I am a customer for life when it comes to buying a vehicle, and even if they don't have the vehicle I want, I will give them ample time to find it. These guys are fantastic. read more

Thought they were treating me fairly, but I was overcharged on my GAP insurance. Since I'm an A plan customer, I should be treated somewhat more special, IMO. I totaled the vehicle I had bought from Glenn, and I had seen a vehicle I liked at Crossroads, and we had went there to test drive a vehicle. In the midst of trying to buy the car, I told them my experience at Glenn, which I thought was good at the time, but really was not. The GM at Crossroads thoroughly explained in detail about our buying process. I believe we were overcharged on the extended warranty as well as the GAP insurance at Glenn. As for my buying experience in 2018, it was perfectly fine with the sales team being eager to help and the manager helping to get the payment where I wanted. Unfortunately, this is where my pleasure has ended. The phone system has been out for months, starting in June 2019. For the short time the phone was available, I would be passed to voicemail after voicemail with no one returning my calls. For the first occurrence, I needed to schedule my oil change, which I was only able to do online since I couldn't reach a person by phone. While not my preference for communication, I was able to get the oil change scheduled and completed and the service was fine. I only do oil changes there because I got 60 with the purchase of the car. For the second service, I heard on the news my car might have a recall on it. No communication was sent to me (this may be a Ford Issue) but of course the dealership didn't let me know either. While I was in the building for my oil change, I walked over to see if I was part of the recall and scheduled my repair then. I had still been trying to call since scheduling my oil change online to find out about the recall issue. Currently, my 3 year old car, is dead to the world after a warning light came on last night, which I know is not the dealerships fault but with the warranty, I do need their attention but the phone is still down. We had to drive our other car over to Glenn (now Pinnacle Ford) to speak with someone. While she was nice, this is not a good way to do business. Now, my car has supposedly been towed to this dealership but I can't confirm if it has made it there because I still can't get through because of the phone lines being down. I haven't received a call to let me know the car has been towed in and if they will be able to look to see what the code is and how the fix will be handled. I'm just big on communication and timeliness, and I know that it's not the poor lady's fault at the service desk but obviously, more staff is needed to better serve the clients and a different phone service is a must! I assure you, I've been nice to the lady because it's not her fault, but if I can get in touch with a manager, they will get an earful! Hopefully service will get better after the Pinnacle Ford buyout-transfer is completed and they're not worried about the rebranding of the dealership and worry about the customers and their happiness. read more

I was visiting the UK campus with my family and our Navigator developed a problem. The service dept. took us with no appointment, The techs listened carefully to what I told them the problem appeared to be, they then gave me a diagnosis of the issue along with an estimate. The waiting lounge was nice, got a chance to look at some new cars/trucks, Satellite TV, and there's restarurants next door in case you want to walk around or grab something to eat while waiting. They ordered the parts, gave me a free loaner car overnight and the truck was ready first thing the next morning. Truck runs great. We were 500 miles from home and they bailed us out big time! read more

Horrible experience Please do your self a favor and avoid this place, I went to the "quick lane"and while it was quick (which is good, they failed to check two major areas of my car as listed on the paper, so I had to take my car back and addressed the mistake, again they were quick to take the car in and check the missed areas, which is where my ordeal began, the service techs are nice, however they pointed out that my car power steering system had three "major"leaks in it, which if they had cleaned up the engine bay (they didn't even offer to do this) but were quick to point out the leaks as soon as they got the car lifted on there lift. so I spent the better part of the day getting my parts, which I was only doing to cut down the time the car would have been out of service. talked to them over the next few days, went back on Monday to talk to them about putting the parts in, the service manager (David Ross) said that he would only charge me $400 plus refund my $20 that I spent, and while I believe that he may have been genuinely trying to help out, the math did not add up to any thing more then being a wash (or in reality just refunding my money and charging for the work), so I went to another shop that specialized in the Ford motor car and they not only cleaned the engine bay but they were very thorough in there checked and determined the only leak was from the power steering pump and quickly replaced it and had me out the door, I even have left a message for the general manager of the dealer and have not heard back yet, so at this time I am writing this off as a loss and will not be going back to this dealer at all, there are other better places in the area like Autonomics and Car Masters. I personally wish I had looked them up and read the reviews online before going to this dealer for any service as doing that would have saved me the frustration and aggravation I have gone through!!! I will NOT be making that type of mistake again!! read more

I took my F250 Lariat Superduty Diesel into the Dealership, Glenn Ford Lincoln, for it's first oil change. Friendly customer service and support, but, on my way home I noticed that a mounting hardware bracket with suction cups for my Escort Radar Detector had been stolen from my truck. Otherwise I couldn't have been happier. I think it's a sad thing that they have employees who will steal something/anything from you, but I saw no reason to tell them what had happened because there wasn't any way to prove my windshield bracket had been stolen, although I am positive that it was. Other than this unfortunate event, I have to say that I've been treated great by Glenn in the past and the Quick Lube Manager, Sherry has always been very pleasant. I will definitely return to Glenn, but in the future I will lock my valuables up to prevent such theft. I have bought several cars from this dealership site and I highly recommend them for quality products at a fair price, with good service after the sale.... except for this one small bit unfortunate incident. read more

I made an appointment for the next day and then proceeded to wait 50 minutes for my car to even be taken back to be serviced, and ended up leaving 1 hour and 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment, having only had The Works done. No one apologized or made any mention of the wait time (with an appointment!) for an oil change. I will take my future service requests to a dealer which respects my time. read more

After writing the initial review on how this business tried to bait and switch me by having me pay for a car, then saying it was wrecked and trying to sell me a new one for $1000 extra, I remembered the CarFax service. I looked up the car and lo and behold, it was never wrecked or damaged in any way. The CarFax report also told me where the car was physically located (Cincy, OH) so I drove up and looked at it. Perfect condition from head to tail. When I talked to the OH dealer about Wildcat Ford, they said they'd been contacted and asked to transfer the car to KY for sale, but declined as they felt it would sell there in OH. And it did -- I bought it on the spot. When I reported the bait and switch to the BBB and KY Attorney General, I received a very abusive phone call from Marius, the sales manager at Wildcat Ford. He openly lied about facts I had IN WRITING. I would avoid doing business with these people at all costs. read more

I recently purchased a 2016 F150 from Glenn Ford. The experience started off when they tried to add in all of the extras in the pricing. Once we got that taken care of and we agreed on a price I was told at the last minute that price was only good if we financed with them. After some discussion they agreed I could do my own financing. So we finally get all squared away and they were supposed to service truck and all in the week leading up to delivery. They did do some of the items that we discussed but after getting the truck and driving for a week noticed a bad vibration while driving between 50-55mph. Took to local dealer and they said the rear differential was shot and needed to be replaced. If this truck was in fact ran thru the service dept at Glenn WHY WAS THIS NOT NOTICED. Now come to find out the parts are on back order so call to see if they can help out. NO RESPONSE from someone that was supposed to call me back in 5-10 minutes, now 3 days later. Absolutely POOR service and customer follow up. Would never receommend this place to anyone. Bought the truck in middle of January and have drove for 1 week while the remaining time it has sat at the dealer for repairs and parts wont be available until April from Ford. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. This place is now Pinnacle Ford. I have never dealt with a more incompetent and dishonest group of people in my life and I am from Miami, FL so that is saying something. This place embodies exactly why the public dislikes and mistrusts car dealerships so much. I did this deal over the internet and while the sales guy was very nice (he has since quit working there) They took my trade in, plus cash down for a new Raptor. The cashed my check but when they delivered my Raptor, none of my paperwork was with the vehicle. It has been almost a month since the deal was done and they have not paid off the loan on my trade in. When I called the finance department to ask about my paperwork, the lady said she never heard of me. When I called to speak to the General Manager, the refused to give me his/her name. You cannot find any information on their website. I went to Ford Customer Service and they were virtually no help at all. Went in to look at their used cars. The salesman asked me what we wanted to spend and what we like. I tell him were looking for a Ford Edge and stress that we want it used. He immediately goes outside and pulls up a brand new Escape. After a test drive (which he insisted on) we try telling him while it is nice, we want an Edge. So we go back in forth for over an hour with him asking his manager to keep giving us a better deal on the Escape. We tell him we don't want it, he goes and gets us a better rate or a price cut. Finally after about an hour and a half we convince him that we want an Edge. And to his credit he finds us one at their sister dealership and goes across town to get it. Ends up being the wrong colors and just not what we wanted. So we head home with the salesman promising to call us if he gets in something we would like. Two days later we get the call about a Vehicle and we go in and look at it. It's not up for test driving as it is still being serviced and the Dealership is closing soon. But the salesman says he will text us when it is done, and we can come after work the next day to drive it. The next day he texts us saying it's ready around 3 pm. So my wife calls at 6 pm (when she gets off work) and tells him we are on our way. And he informs us that it has already been sold, despite that we had told him we were going to buy it if the test drive went well, and despite his promise to get us in to look at it first. So i guess that is what Glenn Ford (also Wildcat Ford) thinks is a good way to conduct business. I could understand if they had sold the vehicle before we could get in, but it's crap that it was sold from under us after they brought us in on it. Won't be returning with my business, neither will my family who have bought vehicles with them before. read more

I like the car I bought, but working with the dealership has been a nightmare. I showed the salesman a competitor's online ad for the same car, 2k lower miles, different color, etc. He matched them and credited $250 for the 2k mileage difference to get me to buy the car (found out later that the mileage was actually worth $600 diff). I purchased extended warranties, they tried to list double the deductible per claim than what the flyer said - rewrote contract. The lower price offered by the salesman was full price in the contract, rewrote contract #2. It took 3 times and very careful reading to get done the 3rd time. They promised to deliver the car the next day, but I had to drive to the dealership to get it that night - 2.5 more hours lost. The odometer statement on the paperwork said one thing, but when I actually got the car, it was 2087 miles higher. The sales manager offered to pay me the mileage difference, additional discount for the trouble, etc. by refunding part of my deposit - more hours lost. Fine, we made an agreement, he honored it. I receive my title paperwork after 6 weeks, the DMV refused it because the correct odometer was on part of the paperwork and the incorrect odometer reading was on the rest. Now I go to make my first payment and find that the amount shown as financed by the lender is higher than what is on my contract. I would not recommend this dealership to ANYONE. read more
