I didn't realize we had the option of having the candle making party in our own place - how crazy fun is that?! We booked a Saturday 11:00 am candle making private party in our Airbnb and bought some tiny bites, and setup our mimosa bar! I also bought some flowers, and played some romantic French cafe music .... it was the perfect setting. Ciarra was a wonderful teacher ... very patient! She came early and set everything up for our candle making party. I have done some candle making before with the birthday girl actually, knew a little already but learned so much from Ciarra. It was so fun smelling all the different fragrances and learning how to blend them, and learning about adding colors / blending colors... Besides being so knowledgable, she is so patient and sweet! All of our candles turned out perfectly and we all bickered as to who had the better candle lol... Even my boyfriend who tried to get out of it at first, admitted he had a good time. What happens is there's a lot of people in this area that have second homes here and they routinely refurnish them and then put all of last year's furniture on consignment which results in barely used furniture going for 70-80-90 percent off. Also when people pass away (this is an internationally famous retirement community) and the kids are in New York they call and say sell everything as fast as you can...

We have bought a few things there one was a RCA 1972 television set. We are in the process of seeing if we can get it fixed but it looks so great and so cool just sitting in our living room anyway we love the 60s and 70s. The people who work there are so nice and so helpful if you're looking for art or that special thing, I would definitely recommend Misty's Consignment some of the things are expensive, but the quality is even more valuable. I also brought in some things for Consignment it's real easy to do. Give them a call and they'll tell you how to do it. The parking lot is big and there's always a spot but it gets pretty busy sometimes it's fun and an adventure each time we go I recommend Misty's Consignment 100%.

Your art specialist has no talent for doing her job- she's rude and ignorant. If she can't google it she can't and doesn't establish a value to anything. She has no knowledge of art valuation, which allowed me to buy 2 under valued pieces, and prevented me from selling several others. -Stop damaging items entrusted to you for consignment. I saw the movers damage a coffee table, and laughed and said "oh man...oh well." And find a vendor that will AFFORDABLY transport consigned items to sell and when purchased- your relationship with S&D movers is a rip off! $175 hour + a two hour min. $350 just to drop off a consigned item. I emailed you to verify if that was correct, and the unsigned response ignored the question entirely- and asked "Have we approved the items you wish to bring in?" Again- drop the attitude and answer the question. Lastly, your customers are your best consultants- you are becoming a carbon copy of The Estate Sale Company.
