I do not recommend this place, I had two root canals done here probably eight or nine years ago…read more The crowns that they used were so big and bulky that they overcrowded my top teeth. The crowns they used were so big that the tooth in between them Was back so much further than the two crowns, and instead of remaking the crowns to fit my mouth they just slapped filler over the tooth in between the crowns. The root canals hurt, and I told the dentist that they hurt and the dentist told me that there was no way because there was no nerve left.. well this went on for several months and they told me that it would get better . I Finally just learned to live with the pain because it was "perfectly normal". Well here I am years down the road, I have moved away from Groesbeck, and after years of constant infections, and constantly being in pain, I am having to not only have the two root canal's that they did pulled, but also the three teeth surrounding them including the one that they put the filling on pulled, because there's nothing left of that one at all. So I'm losing five teeth because of the crappy job that they did on on my root canals.. anyone planning on visiting this place, do yourself a favor save up the money and go to Waco.. save yourself the money of having to repair their mistakes and also years of pain and suffering associated with their terrible dental work.

Unlike many other orthodontic offices, where most of the work is done in assembly-line fashion by a bunch of assistants, Dr. Weathers is very hands-on and does almost everything himself. Although there is no big screen TV or cappuccino maker in the waiting room, Dr. Weathers' fees are very reasonable. His schedule runs on-time and his receptionist Laurie always does her best to accommodate us with after school appointments.

I had my braces done by Dr. Nowlin, who is now retired, and if I had to be re-treated, or if my son were old enough for braces, then I would choose Dr. Weathers in a heartbeat. He is passionate about his work and it is evident in all aspects of his practice. He, not the assistants, works on his patients. That makes appointment times and length of treatment time shorter. Other places offer a treatment plan and full consult at the first appointment, but Dr. Weathers does not because he STUDIES each case. You are not offered a one-size-fits-all plan, rather x-rays are diagramed, casts are measured, and pictures are studied to give you a realistic expectation. You wouldn't want to be at the end of treatment and run into problems that could have possibly been revealed in that study. If you are investing time and money, then you would want time and detail given to your case. The staff treats you like family and always goes above and beyond. Appointments are offered at convenient times, and you will be in and out every time. The only down side is that they do not FILE insurance claims, BUT they do work with most plans and provide you with everything except postage for mailing the claim. Orthodontic benefits are not like basic benefits, in that you will very likely receive the maximum benefit regardless of being in- or out- of network. For example, if you have a $1000 orthodontic benefit with Metlife, they will likely pay that full amount with any Orthodontist you choose, not just someone in-network. Dr. Weathers has years of experience creating beautiful smiles and is highly recommended around town. Online reviews are a good start for information, but they aren't always reliable. Some places offer incentives for them, so people who aren't even patients can write them. Most orthodontists offer free consultations, so if you have the time, check with a few and compare. I had a problem with my lower denture plate which was causing a sore spot on my gum. Dr. Bryan's…read morereceptionist got me in that very afternoon for an appointment. Dr. Bryan fixed the problem, checked to see if the fit was still good, and told me if the sore didn't heal in two days, to come back. The relief was immediate, and the sore healed quickly. Then, I had a tooth break on my upper dentures, and Dr. Bryan's receptionist again got me in quickly. He was able to replace the broken tooth right in his office--no sending out to a lab, no waiting. Within two hours I could smile again! Neither the sore spot nor the broken tooth was Dr. Bryan's fault. The dentures were from a previous dentist in another town. Dr. Bryan and his staff are kind and caring, and understand a patient's concerns. My husband goes to Dr. Bryan for regular check-ups and cleanings, and I'd recommend anyone who needs dental work done to make an appointment with Dr. Bryan.

I have been offered multiple different solutions that all did not offer getting the problem fixed. My orthodontist Dr. Geshey (Brazos Braces) who is Dr. GATLIN's fiancé has been amazing and contacted Mr. GATLIN about my condition and he got me connected to Dr. Arango in Dallas to will do the maliofacial surgery to fix my jaw and give me a total joint replacement. Last week I went to Dr. GATLIN to get my wisdom tooth pulled. The whole procedure went super smooth and he called to check up on me later. It healed super fast and the whole experience although not the funnest was great thanks to Dr. GATLIN and his wonderful staff. Thank you to all the folks who work at Brazos Facial Oral Surgery!!! I am a self-admitted chicken. I hate going to the dentist and I am extremely afraid of needles. So…read moremuch so that I put off having my wisdom teeth removed for 2 years just to avoid getting an IV, which lead me to Dr. Warren and his fabulous staff. Everyone at Heart of the Brazos was so kind, welcoming, and professional. The office is very clean and I felt well taken care of from the moment I checked in to the time I left after my procedure. Dr. Warren clearly explained how the procedure would go, what to expect afterwards, and what I needed to do once I got home. Thankfully the nurse who did my IV (I think her name was Darla) was extremely gentle and I didn't feel a thing. A couple days after my surgery I ended up getting dry sockets (which are very painful) and Dr. Warren was nice enough to see me that same day to relieve my pain and make sure everything would heal properly. I don't ever WANT to have oral surgery again but if I ever need it, Dr. Warren and Heart of the Brazos will definitely be my first choice.
