Casey Ray Incorporated - Steering wheel emblem

    Casey Ray Incorporated

Horrible experience. I purchased a 2022 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon from Casey Ray, Inc. last week,…read morewhich was the worst decision I have ever made. The salesman that I dealt with was Ceasar. I am from out of town and had requested a few walk around videos from him showing the condition of the truck prior to purchasing it. The videos he sent conveniently did not show the extensive body damage it has to the driver door, front fender, and rear driver side door from a dog that scratched off the paint. The rear left side bed fender was also damaged and had paint missing from it and was also not shown to me. The interior was in horrible condition with dirt and dog hairs on every surface. The two front leather seats had deep scratches from a dogs nails and had rotting food and trash left under the seats. The speedometer gauge was also cracked and the chrome ring around the steering wheel was broken and falling apart. The windshield was also cracked and the seal around the perimeter of it was coming off. I met Cesar on 09-24-2024 at the Abilene Airport where he dropped the truck off to me in the drop off zone. He stated that the truck was detailed a few days prior, yet when I received it was full of mud that was all over the trucks body on the doors and fenders covering up the body damage. I did however immediately notice the windshield crack and the two leather seat scratches as soon as I entered the vehicle. I drove home which was 7 hours away and the next morning I washed the truck. It was then when I noticed it was missing paint on the driver side doors and fenders after all the mud was removed. It also had damage and deep scratches all over every panel of the truck which was deceivingly kept from me when I asked for a walk around video of it. They posted 49 photos on their website of the truck yet every single one conveniently and deceivingly hides the damage so that it isn't shown on the photos angles. When I reached out to Cesar the next day on 09-25-2025 about the extensive damage I was told he would bring it to Casey Rays attention and that they would see if they could help with the damages. I got 3 quotes one for the bodywork, another to replace the windshield and seal that goes around it and the last for the driver side seat cushion and speedometer gauge lens replacement from my local Jeep dealer. It all totaled up to over $3600. I provided all 3 quotes to Ceasar so that Casey Ray would see the amount of damage that it had. Well each day I was told I would get a reply and wouldn't hear anything back, there was always an excuse why he couldn't get back to me. It wasn't until today 09-30-2024 that I finally got a response back stating that Casey Ray was only willing to help with the windshield replacement which isn't even 10% of the total damages the truck has. I even told Cesar that I would return the vehicle to them and they could return the funds back, but Casey Ray refused. I gave Casey Ray plenty of chances and several days to make it right and he refused to do so. I will now be seeking legal action against Casey Ray, Inc under the Texas Deceptive Trades Practice Act. Please stay away from this shady scammer. I should have never purchased a vehicle from him, but lesson learned. He also sells sheds and trailers so stay away from this guy he is not to be trusted. He will try and sell you a piece of you know what, I hope he goes out of business soon. He will try and come back on here and say he lowered the price by $2500 but that was only because I negotiated prior because the tires are also bad and need replacement not because of the body, interior or windshield damage.

We live 350 miles from the Brownwood area, way up in Amarillo ;) But finding this vehicle on fb marketplace and staying in touch with Kim via phone and email truly helped us! These vehicles are extremely hard to come by, so when I found it available through Facebook marketplace, my husband and I were inquisitive. This vehicle was secured by two other serious buyers so we thought we wouldn't be able to buy it. However, about 5 days later, I received a call from Kim letting me know that it was available! (Little did Kim know that Garrett and I had just returned from a weekend trip to Houston where we planned to buy an SUV but returned home with nothing!) My husband and I did something we've never done before-- we decided to buy a new car, sight unseen, over the phone. In the car market these days, vehicles are hard to find and are selling way over MSRP! Not at Bruner. Bruner Auto Group takes good care of you and reminds you of your hometown! Bruner doesn't throw in expensive dealership fees or packages that you know nothing about or don't plan on using! What you see is what you get! We were delightfully impressed and this has been the best vehicle purchase we've made to date! (And we've made a lot: Hudiburg in OKC, plus many others in Texas and Oklahoma and New Mexico.) The process has been seamless! Thanks, Kim, for driving 250 miles to meet us in Lubbock! Thanks, Kim, for taking such good care of us! And thanks Bruner Auto Group for ordering this '21 Tahoe with the panoramic sunroof for your dealership! We're thankful we found it and you all!

After calling several dealerships and asking, if they worked on modified trucks, some dealers will, some won't. Jonathan at blake fulenwider Said yes they work on them all the time. Dropped it off at the lot and jonathan told me it would probably be ready friday. I call on Friday, Jonathan says sorry. We're missing one part that is in Dallas and should be here shortly your truck will be ready tuesday. On tuesday, I call to find out a pickup time only to be told later in the week. On thursday, I get told that they are not allowed to use off the shelf parts and can only use the parts packages that chrysler sends based on the vin number specifically for the recall. Might be a bit of a wait. After getting jerked around so much. I talk to jake who is supposed to be the supervisor over the service center. I understand miscommunication happens, but i'm getting the feeling that jonathan says whatever it takes to get somebody off the phone. Jake assures me. It will be addressed and we start waiting. Christmas comes and there's no shiny ram under the tree. Valentine's day shows the love, but not the pickup truck. I finally receive a notice in the mail from Chrysler. Saying that all parts have been shipped and are available. I get excited, call the dealership. Only to be told they're still waiting on one part. But my truck should be ready by friday the 22nd or Monday at the latest. Perfect! Monday, rolls round. And I call to get a pick up time. So I can schedule a ride, Nope not ready maybe friday. Finally on Friday. I get a call from Jonathan one of the first calls. I've gotten from this dealership in the five months that they've had my truck. Good news is I have a supposedly brand new fuel system. Everything has been replaced. The bad news is my truck still won't start, They think it might be a hole in the manifold That appeared in the five months that it set in their yard and for only 1900 they will be glad to fix it. I was then chastised for not purchasing a service contract when I bought the truck. I decided I had had enough of the dealership and would. Just come get my truck. Jonathan said it was ready to go but being mid-afternoon and it being an hour trip to get my trailer and make it to the dealership. I opted to come saturday morning. Jonathan, let me know that jake would be there, and I could come any time. I show up saturday morning and finally get to meet jake in person with the very bright red eyes and disjointed speech - instills great confidence. Jake once again reminds me how much of a favor they have done for me by working on my truck. No, a favor would be something extra or atypical - I called and asked a simple yes / no question up front. Jake goes on about how excellent all of the staff are, and jonathan must have been tired when he said it was ready. Jake then spends twenty minutes looking for my truck, Which turns out to be still in the shop on a rack in pieces. Jake, very generously, offers to have my truck hauled back to my house on tuesday. At noon on Tuesday. I call to get an eta, The receptionist says there's no one there to answer and takes a message. And someone will call me right back. At three o'clock I call again, This time, get transferred to Sean who says they are waiting on a car hauler and my truck will be delivered either this evening or tomorrow. Thirty minutes later, he calls back and tells me that my truck will definitely be here this afternoon. Truck arrives and sure enough it doesn't start. Pop the hood and there are plenty of new looking parts so maybe they did some of what they said they did. They also left me several nice tools - always a sign of professionalism. The bent grill guard where it looks like they tried to tow my truck from the guard is just a nice cherry on top. I do know both of the tool drawers in the bed were gotten in to, although it's been 5 months... I honestly can't tell if anything was missing or not. Values. What values?
