This is laid out nicely with wide open spaces and level lots. We didn't really use any of the shared facilities this time since we're just getting started on our trip. The Front Desk staff are extremely friendly and they have a little shop in there as well for some necessities. There are a couple restaurants within walking distance, but we didn't partake this time It tends to get very windy in the afternoon and this part of the country so time your travel accordingly we saw lots of tumbleweeds They do have a kids playground as well as propane available. It's also very quiet :) We paid about $60 per night for a full hook up

Not a lot of shade, but I think that's common with camping in Arizona. There is a very nice dog park area with a very large shade tree. Laundry room is fantastic. It takes credit cards only & well maintained. Bathrooms are old, but extremely well maintained and very clean. There is also a multi use community building to use for gatherings or meetings, etc. I would absolutely stay here again when traveling and visiting! very quiet nice park.

The absolute worst service experience from a business that has a 4.8 rating. I can't imagine how…read morethey achieved this given the experience we had. Our motorhome washer/dryer was leaking but only after I would use it. But I'd discovered that it didn't happen if I turned off the source of the water after each use. But we wanted to know the source of the leak and what the remedy was. Admittedly they did locate the source and told us the remedy. And in doing this the main tech made some adjustments on the hot and cold shut off valves. He very explicitly said "don't touch or mess with these now." We didn't. Went to bed and the next morning awoke to a washing machine tub overflowing and massive leaking in the coach basement. Also, they had originally told us that they'd call when tech was on his way. They didn't and he showed up at 7 We had already decided that we weren't going to do the fix on the old washer/dryer but when we called the office they said they'd send someone over--at no charge. We declined. We knew how to prevent another incident and we didn't want the tech to tell us the same thing as he'd told us the night before and then potentially screw up again. pm. And then the tech showed up at our motorhome at 9:00 am even though we had explicitly said that we didn't want a return visit. Again, no phone call to alert us. Today my husband went to the David's RV office hoping to negotiate the $260 charge to analyze the problem but then leave us to face the problem (flooded washer and rv basement) the next morning. We were hoping to get the bill reduced to $130-160 or get some consideration of a compromise but the person at the desk wouldn't even engage my husband in any discussion o of the bill and dismissed him and our legitimate complaint. He also told my husband (who mentioned the lack of promised phone calls to us) that he was too busy to call us to prepare us for the arrival of the techs. $260 down the drain and another mess to clean up--courteous of David's RV!

After a heavy haul tow of 26 miles to our RV Park, we started call RV repair companies. We found RV Solutions and we are glad we did. Our axel and bearings had blew and we were looking at a long wait for parts. Woody came out and assessed the damages. He found the parts and was diligent. He even drove to Phoenix to pick up the parts. Woody came out when he said he would and worked in the cold rain to do the repairs. He gave us an exact quote and didn't charge any more even though he worked longer than he estimated. Woody even came out the next morning to make sure everything was OK and we could start the long drive back to Colorado. He even called to make sure we got home OK. Woody was great! Was traveling in the area and had a water leak behind the toilet from a hose that was leaking, also…read morehad generator issue. He came out and looked at both issues then said his daughter will email me an invoice thatvI need to pay before he comes back out to fix the issues. Not sure why he didnt fix the water leak when he came out the first time, I guess he has a big van but no parts. He pre-billed me for 5 hours which I naively paid. He returned the next day and replaced the fuel filter on the generator and some pex behind the toilet. Total time spend for the 2 visits was 2 hours, and a large potion of the time was him just talking about stuff, including that I should have bought a used Prevost instead of my new Georgetown. I tried to talk to him about refunding some of the money as he only spent 2 hours working on the unit. He started claiming the industry charges a fixed hourly rate for services and he finishes faster. I advised he charged me 4 hours to replace a fuel filter, industry standard is 30 minutes. Then he claimed the extra $450 was his travel time to pick up the $20 filter that was 15 miles away. He eventually agreed to return some of my money but never did. Also, right after he left the toilet started leaking from a loose fitting. He, without looking at it, says "well you have a second leak". Was just coincidence that the pex tubing he was pulling on came loose from the toilet and caused extensive water damage. I see why he has some bad reviews and niw makes you pay up front, at least if you are traveling in the area. Use at your own risk.​

My wife and I were traveling through Winslow on Aug 10 when a motorcyclist noticed the rear axle of…read moreour RV was leaking fluid. I found High Chapparral on-line and they agreed to take a look at it. I drove the short distance to their shop. They quickly diagnosed that I was losing rear transaxle fluid through the cap on the right end of the axle. They modified a gasket they had to fit my rig, got the super heavy oil needed to refill what I'd lost and even pressure-washed the area of the RV on which the fluid had gotten spattered over the miles. All in two hours' time and all at a super reasonable price. Great folks. Very skilled!

We were able to get it started with our generator, but needed someone with Rv knowledge to let us know what was wrong before we were all the way to our campsite. They had us come directly in and diagnosed the problem. It was a bad alternator. They referred us to another location that did that type of repair, assuring us that we were ok to continue on our vacation using our generator until we had time to do the repair. Auto safety house didn't have the wiring but Ken went out of his way to locate the wiring I needed and even call up a mechanic who would get it done the day it arrived. Can't thank him enough. When you're moving you need knowledgeable people to talk to when you go into a store for services and at that point I had delt with people who didn't know enough to even give me the exact instal I needed, wrong wiring and horrible communication.
