Impeccable service! The best staff I've ever met at a medical facility! With my lower back in a constant state of spasm, I was asked to get an MRI in Charlotte,NC. The average quote I got in Charlotte was around $850. Since I was visiting L.A , I called up quite a few places around L.A and chose Glenoaks Imaging. They were very clear on the phone with the price (extremely competitive), service and the schedule. The entire staff makes you feel welcome and are very friendly from the second you step in! I filled up my forms, got my lumbar MRI done , images burnt onto a CD in less than 30 minutes! I am so grateful for being referred to this place. They were easy and friendly to talk to on the phone. I especially needed to know how their open MRI machine worked...meaning do I have the option of going feet in first or would I need to go head in first. This was my third attempt to get an open MRI. The first one went well (different place) and the second one (again, another place) had a DIFFERENT kind of MRI machine which meant I had no choice but to go in head first...so I walked out of that appointment due to my claustrophobia. I need at least my neck and head to be outside the machine. So I made sure that when I made the appointment I asked Maryanne ( hope that's the right spelling!) if I would be going in head first and she said yes! I arrived yesterday with my husband as he sat in the waiting area, I went in, changed into scrubs, and had this terrifying fear of the machine as soon as I looked at it. It looked more narrow that the last one I walked out of but they were so sweet and kept reassuring me that they're going to be next door and gave me this buzzer to use in case I freaked out! LOL Maryanne was so sweet and said she'd stay in the room and I made sure she'd be close enough where I could see her. (It was THAT scary at the moment :-/ ) When my body was all the way inside all the fear and anxiety turned into tears and I asked her if she would hold my hand. I'm not a child or someone with special needs. I was just in irrational fear and wanted human reassurance. She was super sweet and held my hand the entire time (about 15-20 min). I know I was squeezing hard and I wasn't letting go and she was probably tired from standing in one position as I laid there somewhat comfortably. The kindness she showed that day I will remember as long as I live. God bless this place. All the employees I interacted with, especially the one who held my hand as I laid there scared and crying, were genuinely sweet and nice. What I experienced that day has touched my soul in a way that doesn't happen everyday. I love this place!!! xoxo read more

I had an MRI done here one month ago and the referring doctor STILL has not received the CD of the image, even though the doctor's office and I have both called to complain twice. Apparently mailing a CD to the doctor's office is something that Glenoaks Imaging "Professionals" cannot handle. Tread with care if you use these people. read more

For the past 5 years I have been to a few MRI places and all not bad. I would however rate the others a 2 star comparing to this place. I love it, everyone is so nice and professional. Reports were ready in a day where usually I had to wait for a few days. Worst of all was UCLA. I can not tell you enough how good this place is. Everything, everything was perfect. These guys are great. I called for an appointment got the address a week before I was supposed to go in. Well when I put the address into my WONDERFUL APPLE GPS it took me to the wrong place. I ended up 1/2 hour of where I was supposed to be. After much confusion the front desk helped me get back on track. I ended up being an hour late! When I walked through the door I was met with smiles and "we're glad you made it". My blood pressure immediately went down. I filled out my paperwork in an immaculately clean waiting room, finished and waited no more than 10 min. I was taken to a changing room and they got me right on the table. As MRI's do, I was in the tube about 20 min and the staff frequently checked in on me as I was going through the process. Btw, the entire place is very very clean. We finished up and I waited about another 5 min for a disc of the MRI and I was pleasantly given "have a great day". The staff are all very professional and very nice. Overall a great experience for something that can sometimes not be so fun. read more

Be prepared to wait in a hot waiting room for thirty minutes plus and to wait several days for a report. Not the best-run operation, in my opinion, particularly in comparison to a hospital setting. read more

I had an MRI on my left knee today and was very impressed by this facility. Super neat and clean. Everyone was professional and extremely nice. Made me very comfortable and they were all accommodating. They gave me a blanket and headphones. I was even able to sneak in a Short nap! If you need an MRI done, have it done here. read more

Glenoaks Imaging Professionals is anything but professional. They say they are open on Saturdays at 8:00 AM. I had a 9:00 AM appointment this morning. I showed up early at 8:30 so I can get the paperwork out of the way but the office was closed. I called the office and got a message saying "Due to being extremely busy, the wait time on the phone is long and I should leave a message" instead of the truth that they were not open yet. The receptionist showed up at 8:58 and when I asked her about no being open at 8, I was told the first appointment they had today was at 9 and that's the reason they didn't open earlier, even though they advertise being open at 8. What's worse, is that they tried to make me feel guilty for being there early even though I received a confirmation call the night before asking me to be there early to fill out the paperwork. When I asked why they weren't open at 8, like they advertise, I was told "that's just the way it is". It is very unprofessional and unethical to misrepresent the office hours and then be completely non apologetic about it and question their clients as to why they showed up early. Would not go there again. read more

Everyone here is thorough and efficient in their work. The staff works hard so that everything can run smoothly and the process can be painless for you as the patient. They were accommodating, and were able to get me an appointment quickly. I didn't have to wait very long in the lobby either, due to the fact they are very organized. I had an MRI done at Glenoaks Imaging yesterday and was not looking forward to it at all. But the staff was so friendly and professional it made the entire process fast, easy and smooth. Everyone from the receptionist to the technician were so nice and comforting, they made me laugh and put me at ease. No one likes getting things like this done, but if necessary, Glenoaks Imaging is the place to go. I've been to a few facilities lately due to a back injury and I have to say no other place comes close to here. The warm and competent staff is eager to help you with everything from scheduling, to questions about the MRI's, to insurance billing. The MRI's are top notch with educated staff members who actually know not only how to use the machines but read the films and send your doctors the proper diagnosis. If you have ever had a lot of MRI's you know what I am saying! This is the place to go for your MRI! They cost 1/2 of what Cedar Sinai would charge, the staff is more competent and more interested in you as a person...you're not a human specimen or a dollar sign here. THEY ARE SO SLOW. My wife had an appointment at 1:00pm and we arrived at 12:55pm. The lady at the front desk collected IS and insurance card and we were told to wait. We waited 30 minutes and the lady told us that it will take another 5 minutes. We kept waiting and 15 minutes later we were still waiting. We talked to the lady again and she said "the person in front of you is getting her xray done and you will be called soon." They finally called my wife at 1:51pm. We waited for 51 minutes with appointment. There were 3 two people waiting when we came in and I'm waiting by myself now at the waiting area. Be prepared to waste an hour just for waiting WITH appointment. read more

I've been having ankle issues for the past 3 weeks and my doctor ordered an MRI last minute and since I was going to be traveling I wanted to do the MRI ASAP. I called Glenoaks Imaging to ask if they could get authorization for me prepared to hear them say no since the last place I called before them said that that's not their responsibility and that my doctor should be calling for authorization. The receptionist at Glenoaks Imaging was great. She made the call and took care of the authorization before I went in the same day for my MRI. Before my MRI appointment I went to see my podiatrist and he added a foot MRI along with the ankle. Each MRI adds more time on to the procedure but they agreed to do both tests for me. I was the last appointment of the day and even knowing they would have to work a little later, the receptionist and the MRI technician were both great!! Very friendly and attentive. My MRI ended up taking longer than I thought it would and they ended up staying an hour past closing time (on a Friday!!). I'm very thankful that they did that and I was able to get this taken care of. If ever in need of imaging again, I will definitely be going back here. I was having severe headaches and my doctor recommended that I have an MRI of the brain. Being my first time getting an MRI I was very worried but from the moment I walked in I was taken care of to the fullest. All my benefits were explained to me at the front reception desk and when I got back to the room the tech took about 10 mins to make sure I was comfortable. She also explained the procedure. This was great because I felt much more relaxed. The best part of all was that my doctor received my report in a very timely manner. If I had to choose one word to describe Glenoaks Imaging Professionals? PERFECT. From the fresh, welcoming decor when you walk in the front door to the friendly and professional staff, it's a perfect experience from start to finish. I first went to Glenoaks Imaging Professionals for an MRI following a car accident. I'd heard horrible things about MRIs and wasn't looking forward to it all, but EVERYONE was so GENUINELY kind and helpful, they actually made it a pleasant experience for me. Andre, one of the owners, greeted me immediately, along with the incredible Ashley and Mary Ann. Rubik, the MRI technologist and also an owner, is WONDERFUL. He kept me apprised of everything going on to put me at ease throughout the process. Yesterday I had to go back for another MRI. Arpine, the receptionist, called me the day before to confirm, and when I realized I was off by a day, she even offered to call me early the next morning to wake me up! When was the last time any business (other than a hotel) offered that kind of service? I don't get to interact with Saro in Marketing much, but he's always there with a smile. GIP is a professional, family-run business...and they treat you like family. The whole atmosphere feels more like a day spa than an imaging center.
