In the past I was a Loyal Mark Miller dealership service customer. Fron now on I will always come to Glens Tires! My truck was recently enlisted in a brief life of crime when it was stolen recently. My tires were already due to be changed when they drive it erratically and the tires were torn up. The perpetrators also spay painted the tires. My beautiful truck was left looking trashy. Hugo is my unsung hero. He found me the most beautiful replacement rims for my Toyota Tacoma. And I also got new tires. They were extremely professional. And I left a happy woman!! read more

The Worst tire shop in Salt Lake City. arrived at 6 and they told me they didn't have time to put on 4 tires because they were closing soon. that skinny brown kid at the desk is a complete joke. Went in to get 4 new tires put on a trailer and buy 4 new tires for my truck. Tipped both the sales associate and installer. Was told after the trailer tires were mounted and bearing repacked that one bearing needs replacing. They had it for the entire day. Asked when the bearing could be replaced? Said to come in early and they could get it ordered. Said it would take 2 hrs. Odd they didn't do it properly initially when I said I was moving out of state. Came back early on a Friday, many bays were open. There were 2 customers in the shop waiting. Was told they were busy until Monday and couldn't do it. Two full days!!! Trailer is loaded and am very unimpressed!! A 1000 mile trip with rain and snow coming and Christmas a week away. read more

Glens tires is the worst! If I could give it 0 stars I would. They fixed my spark plugs on my car a week later the check engine light turned on so I did a diagnostic and it was saying it was the spark plug. The only reason I was able to take it back was because they offer financing, they did not give me a discount for the inconvenience. I ended up spending a $1,000 just for my light to turn back on for the second time. I want my money back they are scammers. read more

I have been going to Glen's Tires for about five (5) years now. I have never been disappointed. Sure they push used parts and, for the most part, it was okay. When I needed some serious repairs is where I started to have issues. I needed to have the power steering replaced on my 2007 Ford Freestyle. They found a "new" part and gave me a good price. Well, the part failed a day after it was installed and they had to get another "new" part. No worries but they seem to try and guilt me into how much it would cost. See, they do not have a mechanic on payroll so they had to pay him a second time to remove the failed part and to install another "new" part. Why tell me? I am the customer. When it was done (which took an extra day) I got my car back in HORRIBLE condition. At the same time, I got an oil change and my tires rotated. There was oily hand prints all over the exterior of my car and my steering wheel was COVERED with oil as was the "change your oil on this date" sticker in the window. It took me 30 minutes to finally clean the steering wheel and inside of the window alone. I had to take the car to a car wash to have the exterior cleaned and it took another two weeks for the stench of oil to clear from the inside. Then the fun started. My motor kept smoking. I called and they told me that this was normal, that it would only last a day or two. Six (6) days later I took it somewhere else. There were pools of both oil and power steering liquid around my engine. The new mechanic told me that it looks as if these liquids were spilled and nothing was done to mitigate the mess. He stated that his company (Big O) steam cleans the car if this much liquid is spilled during any work they do. He told me that it would smoke for a month or more with this much oil and power steering fluid. I had to pay another $180 to have this mess cleaned up by an auto-detailer. He charged me an extra $45 because of the amount of oil and power steering fluid that was on and in the engine. Now, it has not smoked since, and I have check the engine every 3-4 days with no pooling of new liquids (there was a fear or a leak somewhere at first). Only go to Glen's Tires if you want tires....USED tires. Brakes if you are desperate. DO NOT go here for mechanical work of ANY kinds. Go to a mechanic that will back up their work without shaming you when THEY have the issue AND they will make sure that car is cleaned after they service your vehicle...unlike Glen's Tires did this time. read more

Beyond pissed with this place! I sat there from 10am until 1pm waiting on a front brake job for a Mazda 6 in which I was insured many times they understood the braking system with it being hybrid technology. I was told 360$ for the front brakes and rotors in which I paid. Called 30 minutes after leaving and explained it was burning and was smoking from my brakes! They did nothing, no offer to check it or fix the issue. So here it is past closing time now and my car is screwed. I had to have it taken to Mazda to fix the issue in which they say that the brakes on the car are burnt up and that glens telling me that they needed to smoke or burn to cure or whatever is bs and that it should never happen that way with my braking system! So now not only did I waste 3 hours of my day waiting there. I wasted 360$ on complete shit service! read more

So I've been going to Glen's tires for years, last few times I've had a problem to where where they are tightening the nuts on the tire to tight. . I got a flat tire and couldn't get it off.... And then once we finally did, you put the spare on which I also got from there and this is a full size tire it had a bubble in it going out the sidewall. and of course I didn't notice it right away because most people don't have to use their spare right away,they use it for just in case. I didn't know you where I had put my receipt I was moving and packing up pretty quick I called them and let them know my situation let them know that I was in a violent relationship and needed to leave I have five kids and smiley needs transportation and they were not helpful at all. Even the manager acted like he did not care he went over the 30-day refund I let him know that I was broke my situation I have five kids I got to get around and get my stuff moved and they didn't care I would not recommend them to anybody you make how much money and you can't help a single mother with five kids who is a domestic violence victim with a $3 tire really I am never going there again at all. read more

Awhile back I got a flat tire in my new car. I didn't realize that my lug nuts shape and amount didn't match the key or the donut tire that I transferred from my last car. I went to Glenn's not knowing them but because they were close and they're open late. Even though I wasn't a normal customer, they brought everything to change my tire to my car and even let me BORROW a used tire that I could bring back the next day... my big name car place would have never done that for me. Told them what I needed, he took me out and showed me what they had, I picked a set, he told me the price and they were installed within 20 minutes. Either incredibly incompetent or completely dishonest... you decide, but better stay away. I was specifically looking for Atturo Trail Blade XT tires in 35x12.50R18. They had an ad on KSL for these tires but in 33x12.50R18 size. I reached out to the phone number the ad referenced(for texts) and attached pic is my brief conversation. I specify in plain English what I am looking for and after he gives me the price I ask again if this is for 35 inch tires, answer is YES. I load my spare wheels into my truck, drive completely out of my way the next day only to be told he meant different tires altogether and offered everything but what we discussed. This is called bait and switch. Completely dishonest company and personnel. In most industries, written language like this is a binding agreement, with Glen's "my bad" is all I got. read more

They said it be 240 to fix something loose in my steering wheel and 160 for the tire rod. I only had enough for the ignition. I thought I trusted glens tires because i felt like they were honest I had to get my alignment fixed for a trip to colorado but i didnt have the money to fix it right away so i waited till the weekend when i got paid. they previosly had told me it would take 3 hrs to replace and 160. i didnt have the time since they closed earlier on saturdays so I went to markosian auto and asked them to replace the tire rod thinking i knew what i was talking about when they went to check they said nothing was wrong with the tire rod the sway bar was missing a bolt and wasnt connected glen tires tried to scam me of 160 dollars for something that wasnt even messed up now i cant even trust they ripped me off of my steering wheel. dont go here if you dont know about cars they will lie and cheat you making you feel like theyre giving you a great deal but its all a scam and i wont change my review its a lack of integrity, honesty and loss trust you been warned read more
