I have been going here for a long time and have consistently had good service. There are many options for what services you can have and I usually ask for either the basic or the most expensive one because they clean the floor mats too. This place is easy: 1. Pull up to the entrance and get our of your car when the employee approaches you. 2. Leave the key in the car and tell him which wash you want. 3. He gives you a receipt which you take inside the building and give to the woman behind the counter. Use cash or credit to pay. 4. You can watch your car go through the wash (which is fun for kids), sit in the comfy waiting room, or sit on one of the benches outside. 5. After your car goes through the wash, a worker pulls your vehicle to the side and cleans the interior, etc. 6. When he is finished, he pulls up the the curb for you to get in. 7. Oh lord. Where do I begin? If I could rate this 0 stars, I would. Linda is the rudest, noisiest person on the face of the earth. I was having a conversation with her about my car and out of the blue, she walks out to talk to some people that were in the restaurant parking lot next to her. She was clearly trying to play detective and it was a real disappointment to see, as I've been a loyal customer here for years. I can't believe it's come to this. It is utterly appalling, not to mention disgusting, the disrespect I received from Linda. Mind your own business! Do you own that restaurant? No! Stay in your place. She should be grateful I didn't cause a scene in front of the other customers when she came back, because I would have 100% have humbled her and put her where she belongs. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! The owners are arrogant with no sense of Customer Service! Several times my wife and I had experienced terrible service by the lady who is at the register (I believe she is one of the owners) but due to proximity we continued to go when we were in a hurry. But last Saturday (Oct 5) was the last time I am going there.... Here is what happened; I pulled up and the person asked me what type of service (they have different options) I want. As I indicated the type of cleaning and exited my car, the guy pulls out the mat that was filthy and throws it on the leather seat of my new car!!!.... When I said he shouldn't be doing that, he said ok and pushed it down on the floor. Then I proceeded inside to pay and decided to complain to the lady that's on register and collects payment. As I was paying her, I told her what happened and she, very calmly, without any hesitation or sense of apologizing, she said to me "we've been here for 30 years and that how we've always done business"!!! I was stunned!!!! When I said to her "it's like throwing my dirty shoes on the sofa I am sitting in", she again repeated that's how they are cleaning cars... They won't see me again! read more

The staff is terrible. The cleaners do NOT speak English and they opened my trunk to clean and they stole my dry cleaning from my car - I had 15 men's shirts in the trunk and they took a few of the shirts. The guy at the cashier could care less! Their luxury clean $25 was awful. I asked for my mats to be cleaned and they wanted another $5. They didn't vacuum well or clean the car on the inside well at all. Negative four star review. read more

I like that this is a local business and they support the community. Most importantly, they do a great wash! They have recently raised their prices, but then who hasn't these days. For $30 you get full wash with tire detailing, mat cleaning, and hand dry. They do not charge extra for a 3 row SUV (like another place up the street does). I just took my car to the Glenview Carwash and my back windshield wiper mechanism was ripped off. I spoke to someone claiming to be the manager perhaps Linda and she could of cared less and told me to look at the signs in the building, not our responsibility. She proceeded to insult me by telling me my car was how old and I shouldn't be using a car wash. Very Rude!! Not a a friendly Glenview Business!! I will NEVER return here again. I chose the $30 "super wash" for my new Porsche with hopes and expectations that they would leave my car looking better than when I brought it there. Not only did they miss some scuffs on the interior (which came off quite easily when I returned home and did it myself), but they damaged my driver's side interior car handle -- left about a 4 inch scrape/scuff on my brand new leather handle. Needless to say, I will NOT be returning here. I would have been better off taking my car to a $4 carwash and doing the interior myself. read more

My carwash of choice. The basic wash is only $12, with a ~$2 tip expected for the chap who works on your interior. You get a vacuuming, a trip through the swirly machines, a full towel-off of the exterior, and windexing/wiping of the interior windows and other surfaces. If you are overly protective of your new wheels (as I am), you can follow your darling through the machine portion using the windows along the full length of the building. That is kind of neat; it's almost as fun as riding the car through a touchless carwash. The towel guys are always friendly, as if they are thrilled to have your business. That goes a long way. I usually give $2 or sometimes $3, but the last time I gave $5 because I was just so thrilled to see my new baby all shiny and brilliant again on a beautiful sunny June day. read more

You cannot trust your car to this operation. On 5/14/21, I pulled in for a wash on my 2014 MDX. At pick-up, I noticed a large scratch in the lower passenger side dashboard material. It was fresh and looked as if it was damaged by the vacuum nozzle or other sharp object. The attendent was very defensive when I pointed it out. I asked the cashier to come out and look...and, you might know where this is going. Deny, deny deny, "not our damage", "can't be us". BTW, I was driving to Carmax to have my car appraised for purchase and had been through my car with a fine-tooth comb, dusting, Armor-All on surfaces etc. in preparation. The scratch was not there when I pulled into Glenview Car Wash. I was quite rudely told to "call the Glenview police" if you want to make a complaint. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I have lived in Glenview my entire life. I bring my cars at least twice a week to this place. Normally pretty straight forward, however 9/10/17 I bring my car with a little tree sap on the roof. It goes through the shoot for the $20 wash and comes out without the roof being cleaned at all. I approach the cleaner to let him know not to forget to wipe the roof to get some of the sap spots off and he likes NO we don't dry/clean the roof of cars outside the shoot. He then brought the wash manager over and he reiterated the same. So we went inside, I'm pissed that I pay what will total to $25 and I don't get my roofed cleaned? and the 70's looking cash lady asks whats wrong, I tell her and she confirms that they don't dry/clean/wipe the roof of cars and that to do so would require a full detail job. I asked for my money back because 1.) that policy is a joke for a $20 wash 2.) I frequent the place twice a week!. She looks at my clothes and comments: "You just don't want to pay the $20" as if I was a run down scamming scum bag. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE STAFF & POLICIES!! These guys are AMAZING!! I'll drive 20 minutes to get here and won't go anywhere else for a car wash! They always clean my car absolutely SPOTLESS!! I have a dog who sheds insane amounts of hair and the guys get it ALL out. They do under the seats and in between all the crevices. Cup holders. The whole 9 yards! They even take the stuff in the trunk out and clean the trunk and then replace everything exactly where it was. They take their time and always make sure the job is done right. We have been coming here for years. The #3 wash is $20, and we usually give a $10 tip because the workers vacuum and clean the inside so thoroughly. They really take their time getting all the dirt and crumbs out of the inside-- they even vacuum car seats and wipe down the backs of the seats. You have to let them know ahead of time if you'd like them to vacuum the trunk; otherwise, they don't miss a spot. You can save on your washes by buying a pre-loaded gift card with reduced prices. I'm told that mornings are the best time to come so that you beat the lunch-hour rush. read more

A busy Saturday in March 2015- been a customer for over 4 yrs. Worker left 4 muddy footprints on the carpet and on the leather seats (see picture). When I asked the cashier to simply rewash the floormats, she not only didn't apologize but then proceeded to tell me how much of an inconvenience I was creating. I couldn't have been nicer about the situation but it was a really busy day so naturally I was shocked and then to make matters worse, they accused me of trying to get a free detail job. Really? Their lead worker, Jose, actually called me a "baby", among other expletives and threatened me if I didn't leave the premises. I took my two young children and left but not after they so kindly drove my car into the adjoining parking lot. All of this for $20 and a $5 tip. The most expensive option is just as expensive as the full hand wash places, but not as good. I've gone here when I really need a car wash because it's on my way home from work, but I've never been fully satisfied. They do a good job on the exterior, but I've found their interior cleaning to be lacking- still find leaf remnants on the floor, streaks on the windows. Good work. Give them a decent tip. Most have families. If you are a regular then a good tip will give you free extras. I usually go for the # 1 basic wash yet they do extras because they know I will take care of them. Even when the line is 5 , 6 or more cars - they move them through fast. One issue is the TV in the waiting are is often too loud - if you ask, the will turn it down. read more
