The head of the bed is completely close. Note the 5-6" gap in the bent frame.

Unhappy as a customer. We rented a hospital bed for 1 month. It was delivered and setup properly so no issues there. Because the head portion was raised we did not see that the frame was badly bent. All we knew was that the bed did not "feel right". We bought a $200 gel topper and tried that. Same problem. My wife would roll to the left a bit not knowing why. We could not use the bed. My wife did report the issue to the store but there was no action on their part. When returning the bed we found the bent frame. I brought this up to David, the owner as I understand it. For an unusable bed rented for ~250/month, David was not interested in making any resolution accept for an insulting $20 check as compensation. I rejected it and all future business with ACG Medical Supply.

A…read morevery knowledgeable respiratory therapist, Ernie answered every question with a thorough answer understandable in laymen's terms so I understood everything. I appreciate someone like Ernie who has such depth of knowledge and excellent customer service skills. One star deducted due to the ladies behind the counter who made it seem I was an inconvenience by asking when my appointment would start - as it turned out Ernie was gathering the equipment, that's all they had to say rather than project "attitude" for my expectation of an appointment starting when scheduled. I would deduct another star for my doctor's office having to fax my CPAP prescription 5 (FIVE!!) times and taking over a month to resolve - and when I called Xmed's office, they had no record of my prescription despite my appointment the same day (I rescheduled). Employees like Ernie will keep this ship from sinking, a 5-star rating for Ernie C, an excellent respiratory therapist.

I have been trying to order supplies for my CPAP machine from this provider. I have been diagnosed…read morewith severe sleep apnea and without the proper CPAP equipment (that must be replaced fairly regularly) I wake up more than 35 times every hour. They have been totally unresponsive. I have called them 18 times over the past several weeks. On many occasions my calls have been disconnected after waiting on the line for more than 10 minutes. I was promised more than one week ago that my supplies would be sent and that they would call me to confirm/bill. I never received a call. Today I spent an hour on the phone with (after being disconnected 3 times) them and was finally told that my Doctor had not submitted the proper paperwork. I called my Doctor and his staff said that the proper paper work was submitted but that they would call and make sure that any discrepancies were resolved. I was promised they would call me after they spoke with my doctor. I called my doctor and was assured that the company had received all the proper paperwork. I waited more than 45 minutes for a return and then finally called them myself and received a recording that the office was closed. I am in a dire situation because my CPAP headgear was damaged and I desperately needed the replacement parts. My only recourse now is to purchase my supplies on the private market and pay the costs out of hand. This company is horrible and causing me a great deal of unecessary suffering.

I contacted AdaptHealth/Healthline Equipment on December 15th and initially spoke with Ashley, the…read morereceptionist who took my information for the Arlington location and said someone would call me back regarding my concerns. About 15 minutes later, I received a call from Sarah H. I attempted to explain that my CPAP mask was pressing against my cheekbone and that I might need a different size or type of mask. Unfortunately, Sarah repeatedly interrupted me and insisted that the issue was due to the mask being too tight--something I never stated. I attempted to clarify multiple times that my concern was not about pressure or the mask "cutting" me, but rather the placement of the cushion on my cheekbone and the difficulty of putting the mask on before connecting it to the machine. I said I think I might need a different size or a different type of mask. Because of this, I cannot sleep on my left side which is the side I mainly sleep on. Sarah did not listen to what I was actually saying and continued responding to issues I never raised. She dismissed my concerns by saying I hadn't given the machine enough time and that I already had "the best mask." When I explained that I felt unheard, her tone became condescending. I asked to speak with her supervisor and was told that she was over my type of concerns. She also stated that she "matches energies," which I found unprofessional, especially since I remained calm until my concerns were repeatedly invalidated. Sarah was rude, argumentative, and dismissive, and she made me feel as though my concerns did not matter. Patients seeking medical equipment support that they are paying for deserve to be listened to with care and respect. If she does not enjoy helping patients, a non-patient-facing role may be more appropriate. This experience has made me consider informing my provider that partnering with AdaptHealth/Healthline might reflects poorly on the care he provides, since their caliber of service does not match his care. I hope no one else seeking medical assistance is ignored or dismissed like I was.
