My father had received a quote for replacing a bay window from another company in town that he had hired before. That other company looked to take advantage of that and quoted my father a price of $10,000 to replace it. I got involved and looked for other options and was truly fortunate to find J&D Windows and Doors. First off, the price was a FRACTION of what the first company quoted, but more than that David really took in a genuine interest in discussing all the options with my father so that my father was comfortable knowing he was getting exactly what he wanted. The other company took a more cookie cutter approach and was more interested in seeing dollar signs than customer satisfaction.. Due to Covid, supply was interrupted so the new window couldn't be installed when initially scheduled. That had nothing to do with J&D but David still gave my father a discount due to the inconvenience. Completely unnecessary but most appreciated and just a classy move on his part. All told, the work to take out the old bay and put in the new took little more than a morning with a little finishing to be done the next day. The result was amazing and my father was completely overjoyed with the result and I echo how well it turned out. I and my father, recommend J&D thoroughly, absolutely and whole heartedly.

I explained that that was not likely to happen and the man became more insistent coming up with lame reasons why both homeowners should be there. I again said that was not going to happen and more garbage reasons were presented. Clearly they plan for a high pressure situation to make the sale at the time of the estimate. I called Jim, he showed up at my house, examined each window and found about 2/3 of them had their seals compromised and blown out and that's why my windows were turning colors yellow and orange. It was terrible! Well, he came in with a price of about 5k and he replaced every screen on the house, sliding door screen included! When the replacement windows came in (each one was ordered to exact size and spec), his installation team came, headed by his son. It was unbelievable watching them work! Like surgeons for windows, I swear! My wife and I could not believe the total difference in just seeing out our windows and nevermind the brand new re-screening of everything. And I tend to be skeptical when I see reviews that fall at the extreme end at either side of the spectrum. I promised myself that if/when the time came that I would offer a review, it would have to be for one phenomenal or horrendous business. So now I am about to pen my first review. We'd been having trouble with our shower sliding doors for months. My solution, much to my wife's ire, was to simply maneuver them back and forth by brute force. Well on Sunday (February 4, 2024) the doors would no longer budge. Seems that I had been pushing them so hard that the came off their tracks. And the top of the door unit popped out as well. Thankfully we have two other bathrooms so I wouldn't be left taking Monday's shower at Planet Fitness. We checked the internet for businesses that seemed to be equipped to handle repairs or, worst case scenario, install a whole new unit. One looked as good as the other, so we settled on National Glass & Aluminum. I emailed the establishment Sunday afternoon. I received a phone call mid-morning Monday requesting photos of the unit, my address and phone number. Scott arrived at about 2:00 pm that same day. A very personable and professional guy. He went upstairs to our master bedroom where the culprit was in residence. At this point I was expecting word that the unit was beyond repair and a replacement would cost me thousands. After taking a good look at the unit, which again, I thought was on life support. Scott said, "no problem, I can fix it." About 15 minutes later Scott returned telling me the job was done. I went upstairs and the doors worked as good as new (better). The price? Well beyond reasonable. Impressive, to say the least! Trust me, folks, National is the real deal.
