Unfortunately my wife has had a ton of work done on her teeth throughout the years. We've seen dentists who recommended doing a full mouth reconstruction $60k. She's had multiple root canals and crowns. We went to our normal dentist who said she needs a new crown because a cavity is forming. But we weren't sure. We heard about Kaio Dental from another dentist friend and drove the hour drive from OC to see him. Let's just say we found our new dentist and are willing to drive that hour every 6 months. Dr. Tram is amazing. He taught at Western so he's knowledgeable and skilled. He understands its a changing field and one way is not the correct way. He also knows that explanation to the patient is key. He actually explained to use and showed us with a CT scan why she should hold off on the crown. There was a possible infection in the root so he recommended the imaging being read by an endodontist because if he replaced the crown and introduced bacteria into the area, it may cause even more pain. Something we had no idea on. He has amazing ethics. Isn't in it for the money. Just wants to be a good dentist. He doesn't do same day crowns anymore as he said it's too rushed and he wants focus on the quality since he does it himself. Great team, great office, clean, good parking.

I originally booked my first appointment and, without my authorization, my appointment was rescheduled. I kindly asked if it could be moved, and she accommodated me. I normally would not have continued booking with someone after an experience like that because punctuality and customer service are very important to me. However, she was offering a deal, and since I was preparing for my wedding, I decided to purchase three additional visits. Unfortunately, the same issues continued. My appointments were repeatedly rescheduled, and there were also occasions when she was late. Since I work during the day, my appointments were in the afternoon, and I often felt rushed, as though she was trying to get out as quickly as possible rather than providing a relaxing experience. I was also given a gift card for her services, which I decided to use for my final facial before my wedding. The work itself was not necessarily bad, but I did not feel that it was her best work or that the overall experience was worth what I had paid. I also booked an appointment for my fiancé because I decided to use the gift card toward a facial for him. He had never had a facial before, so I expected the process to be explained to him and for him to be guided through what to expect. Unfortunately, that did not happen. He left feeling more stressed and anxious than when he arrived. He also did not receive all of the services that had been paid for. For example, when it came time for the neck massage, he was told, "You didn't take off your shirt, so I can't give you the neck massage." As a first-time client, I don't think it is reasonable to expect someone to know what they are supposed to remove or how to prepare without being told. The final experience was unfortunately the most disappointing. I had a facial scheduled for the week before my wedding, and at 2:00 PM on the day of my appointment, I received a text saying that something had come up and that she needed to cancel and reschedule my 4:30 PM appointment. At that point, I decided I had enough. I canceled the appointment and did not even ask for my deposit back. I want to be clear that I am not saying she provides terrible services or that every client will have the same experience. However, for me, the repeated scheduling changes, lateness, lack of communication, and overall customer service made this a very frustrating experience. Especially when I was preparing for my wedding, I needed someone I could rely on and feel comfortable with. Unfortunately, I would not return or recommend the service based on my personal experience.

She numbed me before examining me because I was in so much pain. She ultimately decided I needed to see an oral surgeon to have this tooth removed. When I went back to the previous dentist and asked for help, I was told there was nothing wrong, even though I was in so much pain that I couldn't eat meat or anything that wasn't very soft for 3 months. After months of no relief and 2 additional fillings fell out I decided to see Dr. Azer, and I am so glad I did. From the very beginning, he truly listened to my concerns. When the problem wasn't immediately obvious, he didn't dismiss me. He asked thoughtful questions that helped guide him to the root of the issue. He reassured me that my pain was real. Dr. Azer took the time to clearly explain the plan, walk me through my options, and set realistic expectations about when I should feel relief and when I should be concerned if symptoms persisted. That same day, after fixing my broken fillings and correcting the issues that had been missed previously, I was able to celebrate by eating a steak completely pain free for the first time in 3 months! Although I live over 60 miles away, I will always make sure to see Dr. Azer for my dental care because of how thorough, compassionate, and kind he is.
