I can't say enough good things about Dr. Azer and his entire team! I had previously seen another dentist for broken fillings that were supposedly "fixed," but I continued to have significant pain afterward. When I went back to the previous dentist and asked for help, I was told there was nothing wrong, even though I was in so much pain that I couldn't eat meat or anything that wasn't very soft for 3 months. After months of no relief and 2 additional fillings fell out I decided to see Dr. Azer, and I am so glad I did. From the very beginning, he truly listened to my concerns. When the problem wasn't immediately obvious, he didn't dismiss me. He asked thoughtful questions that helped guide him to the root of the issue. He reassured me that my pain was real. Dr. Azer took the time to clearly explain the plan, walk me through my options, and set realistic expectations about when I should feel relief and when I should be concerned if symptoms persisted. That same day, after fixing my broken fillings and correcting the issues that had been missed previously, I was able to celebrate by eating a steak completely pain free for the first time in 3 months! Although I live over 60 miles away, I will always make sure to see Dr. Azer for my dental care because of how thorough, compassionate, and kind he is. Dr. Azer and his staff feel like family and are so welcoming and inviting. today was my first visit, i went in for a teeth cleaning and a flouride treatment and everyone from the front desk person to dr azar to my dental hygienist stephanie was professional, warm, friendly, and made the trip super comfortable. stephanie was super reassuring and gentle, yet she still got all my plaque and tartar thank god! they let me know they will stop taking medical dental insurance this upcoming july so i recommend if you do have medical to get yourself an appointment asap before then! their other payment options werent too bad though, without insurance the cleaning would have been $95. definitely recommend this team of professionals! read more

GO ELSEWHERE!! This place deserves zero stars. Went in and needed two authorizations through my insurance. The office stated it could take up to six weeks. Well, it didn't take the full six weeks. I received an authorization approval confirmation in the mail fairly quickly. I had received a notice of one authorization being approved through mail, so I contacted Medi-Cal to check on both statuses to confirm if the authorization I received in the mail was in fact approved. The medical rep stated that both authorizations were approved and that the office should already have received the authorizations by now. When contacting the office, the incompetent person that I had spoken to, stated that when the office receives the approval for authorization, they go ahead and call their patients. She went ahead and contradicted herself by saying that they would've called me and that they have still not received any authorizations but then when she went ahead and checked my appointments that are coming up, she had said that there was a note that one authorization was received for one of the appointments that was coming up so she totally had no idea what she was even talking about. I went ahead and just hung up on her due to how dumb and ridiculous she sounded over the phone. It was a waste of my energy and time. I went ahead and contacted medical to inform them of what this office had stated, and Medi-Cal confirmed once again that whatever was said to me over the phone was incorrect and that the office does have those authorizations approval for my treatment. The medical rep also wanted to resend the authorization approval to that office, but I went ahead and let her know that it would just be a waste of time because oh how incompetent they are. I'm taking my benefit elsewhere. This dental office is a CIRCUS. The whole office is a joke. read more

Dr. Azer really brought me my confidence back! I've had this issue for years since a root canal procedure I had done ages ago that now has caused two of my teeth to darken. No matter what I tried I couldn't get them to whiten and match my other teeth. I've had a few bad experiences with my other dentists; their cleaning didn't feel like a cleaning, I would be in pain while I'm in the chair, or just felt like I was getting ripped off and uncomfortable. I had a friend recommend me Prime Smile and the hype was honestly worth it. I went to Prime smile for a cleaning followed by some crown work and it was amazing. Dr. Azer and his staff really took care of me and made me feel comfortable and at ease. He explained everything to me so I can understand what's going on. He is really compassionate, and not only that but he cares and takes pride in his work. He takes his time and makes sure things are done correctly and really freken good. My crown looks natural as hell. The visits are not rushed. His staff is also extremely nice and welcoming. Front desk explained my payments and insurance stuff really well. It's a nice team over there. Overall, the last two visits were great, I felt like I could trust Prime Smile with my teeth. Omg what can I say about this place. They are very welcoming when you come in. At the receptionist / assistant desk is the sweetest people named Desiree and Kurt. Honestly if it wasn't for these two individuals I wouldn't have had a great dental experience. Desiree was so helpful going over prices and answering any questions first it being my first time there and I was thankfully about to get an appointment the same day. Kurt was very amazing because I told him I was allergic to latex and he removed everything latex in the room as well as showing me that he was removing the latex coverslip from the instrument to replace it for radiograph. He also answered some fun facts about the dental industry. Dr. Azer did an amazing job with my teeth cleaning and filling in a cavity. I came to prime smile to address some severe sensitivity I was having in my teeth. Upon entering the front desk staff was very friendly and greeted me with a smile. They brought me in to the room very promptly and asked me a bunch of questions before seeing the dentist so that he could have a general idea of the pain I was feeling along with potential reasons as to why I'm experiencing my tooth ache. They took very detailed XRays along with other imaging to see what's going on with all my teeth. Dr. Azer then met me in the room and went over everything he saw in detail and with reasoning. The one thing that immediately stood out to me was how he wasn't trying to just push treatment on me and was very transparent with what is necessary to be done today and what can essentially be pushed off. He even went further and discussed certain things I can do on my own that would help resolve some of my issues on their own without having to be treated and sit in the chair longer than necessary. He was very kind, honest, and had a great sense of humor which made everything so much more tolerable. He then preceded to treat my cavities and genuinely helped me feel no pain. He would stop and ask if I wanted a break so that he didn't push my pain tolerance further than necessary. I left feeling better along with having a better idea of how to take care of my oral health. Dr. Azer was unlike many dentists I've been to in the sense that he took his time to show me he cared and again didn't try to push unnecessary treatment on me just to spike my bill. And on top of that his pricing was far and away more manageable than most dentists I've been to. I can confidently say Dr. Azer will be my new dentist going further and I have already scheduled follow up appointments for my wife and I.
