Glo Airbrush tanning was a dream of an experience. I reached out to the business owner pretty last-minute the week of a formal I had to attend. The formal was a black tie event and in the Cleveland winter gray, I had not had much of a chance to work on my tan. I do often use my own self-tanning products from the comfort and convenience of my home, but I was in sort of a pinch because the gown I had selected was totally backless and that's the hardest area for me to tan by myself at home. I reached out to her and she was SO accommodating- offering me many times and totally bending over backwards to work with my crazy work schedule at the Cleveland Clinic. I even had to cancel our initial appointment for an unexpected late-stay at work, and she made it work to where she came over bright and early before my shift the next day! Perfect for moms who can't necessarily tote their kids to a salon or people with hectic schedules that can't really work in "one more errand tonight." When she arrived, she brought her equipment and set up in my dining room (the most convenient open space to do this in). The tent is mess-free and it's easy to set up and clean up afterward. She had a brief consultation with me, asking what exactly I was looking for in terms of how tan and I mentioned I'd like to focus on my back area. Overall, this was a really pleasant experience! It ended up being $55 and then with tip, $65. But for someone to come to you, I would say that's extremely reasonable. She also offers "membership" pricing where you would come back to her at a consistent interval for a discounted rate! Overall, the tan was beautiful and very natural-looking. I was very olive toned rather than orange, which was fantastic! My only gripe would be that the tan came off pretty patchy, BUT I will say that 1. I have extremely dry skin that flakes if I do not keep it well-moisturized (and many moisturizers have chemicals that can break down a spray tan) and 2. I definitely had remnants of my own self-tan on my body when she came to spray me, and she mentioned and gave full disclosure straight up that that would likely affect how it faded. Would I call her again in the future? Absolutely! Especially if I had a big event. If I did it again, hopefully I would have more time to plan with so that I exfoliated properly and maybe preserved the tan longer. I had full disclosure, but it still hurt a bit to see it fading away after enjoying the color! And the fading part makes it hard to go in public because it was super patchy. Disclosure that I have REALLY fair skin. After a traumatic experience with a spray tan machine, I had basically written off spray tans for good (or so I thought). When I met Danielle, it was a true game-changer!! Her work is amazing; she customizes the color so it can work for even the fairest of skin.
