WORST wax I've ever had. I had my legs waxed by Erin, and all over they are patchy. Several spots I have 2-3 inches of long hair. If I wasn't leaving town I'd request to come back in to have it fixed. Thankfully I have blond hair so it isn't very noticeable unless you touch my legs. Wasn't painful. Katie is a genius. I just had my first wax that wasn't on my face, and she was AMAZING. I watched videos and read what to do, how to prep, etc, but it was completely unnecessary. I literally had no pain (no preemptive Advil or anything!) yelped only once out of surprise. 3 hours later and fees like nothing even happened. She is talkative and kind, and didn't make me uncomfortable about anything. She was also gracious telling me about the cheap ingrown hair solution she uses from Target, no sales pitch for lotions from their store (in fact I'm not sure I even saw anything for sale?). Having just moved back from San Francisco, the salon is lovely and stylish with many private rooms and a few chairs side by side for eyebrows. Similar to my last review this owner owned boutique is serving urban chic. Katie is amazing is super welcoming. I enjoy the independent style of the studio. No corporate mass produced junk here. Feels like you are at a friends wax studio, but still professional without the stiffness. Again, gives you Nola -Magazine St or a Montreal feel. This place is stepping up Cleveland's image. This was my first Brazilian wax ever and I didn't feel the least bit self conscious as she ripped follicles from areas not even I have laid eyes upon without the assistance of a mirror. It is in a safe, up and coming area right past platform beer on Lorain. Danielle was extremely professional, yet personable and made the process very easy and not awkward at all. Slowest wax EVER. I've been waxed in multiple cities in the States and Abroad, so maybe my expectations were too high. But I have never been waxed for 90 minutes for multiple areas. 45 minutes - tops. Having wax on your vagina for 20 minutes - not fun. read more

This review is long overdue! I've been going here for about a year for brow and facial waxing and I love it. The ladies are so sweet and friendly. As far as the waxing experience, the space is really clean and cute and the wax is really gentle (and not too hot!). Prices are very reasonable and it's super easy to book appointments on MindBody. Parking also isn't usually a problem -- there's free 2-hr street parking right in front and across the street. I haven't had any issues finding a parking spot. read more

My bikini wax experience was NOT great. Julia was my specialist and although she was friendly, I had an appointment that lasted about 15-20 minutes and was the most painful wax experience I've ever had. I was so sore. I have been sugar waxed before but thought about trying another studio. Although Bloom and Clover does not seem to specialize in sugar waxing (correct me if I'm wrong), I still wanted to visit Bloom and Clover for some time now. I went there once before about a year ago for a Brazilian wax and I was too ambitious. I appreciated the specialist at the time being patient with the process and letting me know to just leave it at a bikini for now. Julia was too fast and when I asked her if there was any blood to let me know. I had to stop her right before the process was fully done. When I saw the finished job, there was redness (which was expected) and little spots of blood which I was NOT aware of. I don't know if the spots of blood started to appear when she started to treat the area but when I asked her if that was normal, she said it was. Sugar waxing will be the better option for me and I should have stuck with that. Maybe other clients had good experiences with the other specialists but Julia was too rough and not transparent about the process. read more
