One of the primary reasons I signed up was due to the advertised "open sun" tanning beds. However, this location only had one of these beds for a short period before it was removed entirely. This was a key factor in my decision to join, so it was disappointing to see it no longer available. Wait times have also been a consistent issue. Regardless of the time of day; morning, afternoon, evening, weekday, or weekend: I almost always experience the same delays. This does not seem incidental, but rather a result of how operations are structured. 20-30 min wait for a tanning bed, and 15-20 mins wait for a sauna room consistently, week after week is crazy. I've been able to write this entire review while in their waiting Lobby, waiting for my bed to be ready, because even the saunas weren't available. The waitlist process appears to contribute heavily to these delays. For example, when a client uses a wellness sauna session and then plans to tan, they are placed "in line" for a tanning bed while still in the sauna. This effectively reserves the next available bed, even though the customer is not ready to use it yet. From a customer standpoint, it would be more efficient to prioritize guests who are ready to tan immediately. Additionally, the variety and quantity of beds seem to limit efficiency. Having only one of each bed type makes it difficult to manage high-traffic periods smoothly. The overall quality and maintenance of the equipment is also a concern. Beds do not feel as hot compared to other salons, Bluetooth features are entirely nonfunctional, and mister canisters are often empty or not working. I also have not observed bulb replacements during my visits, which raises questions about maintenance frequency compared to other salons. I've had great experiences at the Lemmon Avenue location in Dallas. Rarely any wait times, and good they have good tanning beds. That said, I want to highlight that customer service at all locations has consistently been excellent. Overall, while the staff experience is strong, the operational flow and equipment management at the McKinney location would benefit from improvement to better align with customer expectations. After a brief google and Yelp search, I decided to try out The Bronzetique and I was not let down! The studio was super easy to find w the helpful directions given, and I was even able to be seen a bit early which was fab. Stefani was extremely thorough w the airbrush and we had a great conversation too! After showering, I could immediately tell that this was one of the best quality tans I've ever had, the color was perfect and exactly what I was looking for and it was SO even throughout! I had my event last night, and the color hasn't faded at all (got my tan on Tuesday morning so it's been about 3 days). I'm so so happy with my results and know that this will definitely last me through my events for the rest of the weekend. The only downside is that she's not located in NYC! I'll definitely be coming back whenever I'm in town!

The girls were so incredibly kind, love their jobs, and know what they're doing very well. I couldn't even come up with questions because they give you the answers first. I'd call it affordable but if it's a stretch for some that's understandable- it's an incredible deal for all the services you get. They were more than happy to let me experience all I could while I was there. I'm amazed that you can just scan your membership card and save your preferred settings for each bed/service. I get married in October and expressed my concerns about impending tan lines that will look awful with the type of dress I have and was given an entire explanation of the benefits of spray tanning and all the skin care and accelerators I can utilize to get the results I want. Great vibes, incredibly clean, the type of place that feels like you're hanging out, not being rushed. I am so excited to get off work and head to my self care spot.
