This is a terrible place. When I first bought sessions there, they said they never expired, and yet they did. I never did get a resolution. I didn't go for a few years, but tried again. Now, my tan is uneven (got it today), and they won't fix it without charging me for a whole another session. Manager didn't resolve. read more

POOR Service. The ladies at the front desk do not pay attention when you go into a room to tan. The ladies are SUPPOSED to turn the machine on after you complete a tanning session if you ask to tan twice. I clarified this before I purchased a membership. On 3 different occasions in the last 8 weeks, I was left in the room without the machine working with NO assistance and no way to communicate. I will not pay for a membership I can only use when convenient for the staff. I made a complaint each time it happened. I think 3 times is enough for me. I canceled the membership. I loved the idea of having an airbrush tanning membership but this place is expensive and it's hit or miss. I've had some great tans here but I've also had some extremely bad ones. For $160 a month, you would think my tan would be on point every time. I do quite a bit of video and professional photos due to my profession so I tan here once every week to every other week. I'm drawing the line and canceling my membership tomorrow because this was just one bad tan too many and this time it cost me an entire day of work. I didn't realize how bad it was until after I had already filmed hours of footage that I now can't use and have to redo tomorrow in a long sleeved shirt that will hopefully hide it. My wrists and hands look crazy and there is a stripe down my forearm where she missed the spot all completely. When I changed clothes, I realized she also missed the entire inside sections on both of my legs as well. Thank goodness I don't need to wear a skirt in the coming days. It's really upsetting to know I paid someone and tipped them to make me look awful. To make matters worse, my face didn't develop at all even though I washed my face early in the day and applied no product. The solution I chose is a rapid formula. I showered 1.5 hours after getting it and I'm splotchy and orange. Not cool. They also have a 5 minute late rule. I agree we should not be late but I will never forget the day I was in the waiting room waiting for the person in front of me to finish. Because it was 6 minutes past my appointment by the time she got to me, I was told I was too late and they refused to tan me. They made me drive 20 mins to another location that was not as busy. I almost cancelled at that time but decided to give them another chance. This time is just a bit too much though. I've not only been paying them money but now I'm losing it as well. Used a Groupon and very happy I didn't pay full price for sure. Lobby looks nice but the tanning area is run down and cheap. There were no hair protectors so they had me put a trash bag on my head, they were also out of hand towels to wipe tanner off hands. Seemed to be out of stock on a lot of stuff so I wasn't very comfortable. I've only been sunless tanning a few times in my life and enjoyed it and felt relax so I tried again after years of not doing it and the experience didn't really make me want to go back to doing it... or at least here I'd honestly give it a 2.5 star probably but wouldn't recommend paying full price for sure read more

I've gotten airbrush spray tans from different Sol locations in DFW for years and they've been consistently good. I noticed when I got the booth tan once that it was a little bit lighter, so I stick with the medium to light airbrush tans to get the color I like the most. read more

I even phoned them and was promised a manager will call back to help me cancel my membership...I never have gotten a call back. Sol was amazing for spray tans five years ago, but it has gone downhill big time. The interior is in need of basic renovations - locks are missing from the doors, paint is chipped off the walls, etc. That aside, the spray booth machine has seen better days and the dry cycle is nearly non-existent. So I bought a Groupon for this salon never had a airbrush tan let alone a spray on tan. The young girl and I mean young under the age of 18 was pleasant and she knew her job and exactly how to do this. Me being new had lots of questions and she was very through. The tan I choose was dark the darkest they had because I am already tan naturally. But the problem with this is it ended up everywhere in my bed I was told no shower for 8 hours and I went late at night. The only thing I can say is this didn't last at all. All of 3-4 days if I was luckily I showered like she said every other day used what I was to use. But every time I took a shower more and more of the tan washed off. I have two more free ones. So I am going to go back try a lighter shade and see how long it lasts. The cost is relatively okay 65 a month for 2 tans which is equivalent of every two weeks. But the problem is you need to go every week maybe every 4 days at which point it becomes a very expensive way to keep a tan. Tanning beds are 90 a month for unlimited. Which stands to think which is better ? read more

Came here in a panic in need of a last minute airbrush before my bachelorette party. They fit me right in and did an amazing job! The tan looked so natural and I didn't end up with oddly dark feet which I feel like happens a lot with airbrush. They ask you a questionnaire so they can make the best recommendation. Before you leave they put on setting powder in areas that crease (amazing). Additionally they use a roller to help blend! My tan lasted a week+ even with being in the pool twice! read more

They call me the day of to reschedule my appt. I specifically scheduled it for the evening because of other errands I had that day. They tried to get me to come in earlier or another day but I couldn't. It was not my fault they "double booked". Well, the kids who work there are nice, but they have no knowledge of the online system and they admitted it does not work properly. I "froze" my membership, called to confirm at the Frisco location, and was told not to tan after freeze date, so I didn't. Weeks later my credit card is charged and the Manager denies I was con firmed froze account. I emailed to cancel account and bank is showing they are still set to charge me again. I have red hair so my skin sometimes doesn't take to airbrush as well and Emily is the only one that has made my tan stick and look perfect every single time. She's also so sweet! Ive been a loyal customer here for at least 5 years . Brought many friends here as well. I had purchased a package of booth spray tans and had a few left. When I went for an appointment this afternoon I was told they had expired. Ridiculous . I met the owner Chris many times when this location opened. They would not give me his email or contact info to inform him of how my tans just disappeared. Very poor customer service!! I will not be returning and I will inform everyone I know. Non existent customer service. The girl at the front was upset with me that she couldn't figure out how to use the groupon. I asked if they still did the Tuesday special and she just got aggravated and said I don't know. They have changed their policy (not stated on Groupon) that you can only use 2 Groupons EVER. It only says once every 180 days. It was dirty. There was old hair everywhere and the door didn't even lock. Wouldn't recommend even for only 14 on Groupon. What a COMPLETE DISASTER!! And I really wanted to love this place! Prior to going on vacation had a spray tan on Saturday. I heeded all the pre-airbrush advice: wore loose dark clothing, exfoliated, and all other beauty services were performed prior to my session. Told the technician I did not want to look orange. Received the rapid development upgrade and waited 3 hours to shower following my tan. The result was a complete disaster. I was ORANGE and not natural looking. My face was splotchy with white circles. I had white stripes on both knees (should have been told to bend my knees during tanning process) My right shin had a white stripe without any tan blantantly missed. My elbows had white areas. I could have done this quality or better at home using my own self tanning products. Regrettably, I was unable to return to get these issues fixed prior to my Hawaiian vacation due to closure on Sunday and my departure on Monday morning. I resorted to using tan towels from target and St Tropez to minimize the issues. Though the problems are still very noticeable and defeating the purpose of having a professiona tan so I would not have to worry about looking "fake", "orange", and "spotty". Now 5 days later my half baked-tan is already cracking and fading while on vacation despite daily use and moisturizing using the variety pack I purchased from the tanning salon. I'm very disappointed after spending $100+ at this salon. In addition, it is very difficult to get anyone at any of the locations to answer the phone. I've been tanning here at the Frisco location for years. The girls have great customer service and are so welcoming! The airbrush techs are professional and give so many tips and tricks to help upkeep the tan. I usually do the Venetian dark booth spray and I absolutely love it. The color is perfect and dark! And it's quick and easy!! They have a booking app I use to pre book all my tanning sessions and it's so convenient and easy. Of course they have products for your needs. My friend and I went here last night after buying their Groupon. Everything was pretty standard (including the meh customer service you would expect from a tanning establishment), we got our tans and went home. The next morning my friend sent me a text of the bottom of her feet -- BROWN. I checked mine and I had the same issue. We watched them "clean" the floors prior to us going into each room -- there are two booths, we used different ones each so this is definitely an issue with both and not just one room. Evidently there is left-over tanning solution from whoever tanned in each room before you. We were both really grossed out because in addition to tanning solution, who knows what else is left on the floor? We were really grossed out and won't be going back. read more

Sol Sunless gives a great spray tan but they are always running behind. I had to wait a 1/2 hour for an appointment I scheduled far in advance. When I asked the girl why they didn't call to say they were running behind, she just said they've been busy. The week prior I waited 25 minutes.
