10/10 highly recommend!! We used Glo Up for our wedding and couldn't have been happier with the results! I did a trial run with Nicole, who answered all my questions and made me feel extremely comfortable, choosing the right shade for me! The results were amazing and looked so natural. The week of the wedding, my husband and I were both sprayed by Sarah, in their brand new salon space, which is gorgeous! We received a TON of positive feedback from family and friends about our "glow." And the color lasted heading into our honeymoon, which was also a huge plus!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Nicole and the experience we had at her salon. My friend who was getting married booked us all to receive spray tans for her big day. Where to start.. well for one Nicole is amazing! I used to do custom airbrushes myself 10 years agoand after that I just went the easy route of the Versa machine out of convenience. My tan never looked great, but I was lazy and that was easy. I was recently a bridesmaid in my girlfriends wedding, in Paris none the less! The dress colors were to be blush, beige, nude, etc.. Well that is the color of my skin naturally! I knew I needed to step up my spray tan game for the occasion, so I started asking around. A number of people referred me to Nicole at Glo Up. I reached out and she not only got back to me right away but asked me questions about the event and everything. I was worried because I was leaving for Paris on a Thursday and the wedding wasn't until Tuesday. She walked me threw my options and how we could plan to keep my tan super fresh until the wedding day. I set up the appointment and couldn't have been happier with the results. The color was gorg, the tan looked so natural, hands and feet were flawless, and I still had color on Tuesday for the wedding! Oh and my boyfriend (who hates when I spray tan) complimented me on how good it looked and said I'm not allowed to "do that other one" anymore! 10 stars!!! Thank you for everything!

Glo up, have reached out multiple times on social media and no response. I reached out responding to a photo of a girl you posted on your story in her wedding dress stating how the tans do not bleed on to dresses which is completely false. Ladies If I could do anything different on my wedding day my tan from glo up would be one of them. My tan looked embarrassing around my armpits. The tan even bled onto my Rue de seine both dress and sleeves. Leaving brown and orange stains, this happened even before our reception. I wasn't even sweating that much. I even bought the three pack tans from gloup to have a couple of trial runs before. The first tan I had spots throughout my body that did not tan properly and It barely lasted, no one could tell I even got a tan... which was fine because the plan was to get it RIGHT before my wedding, but even on my wedding day my tan just felt too unnatural... my makeup artist said "wow you are dark!"then we go right into our honeymoon following the wedding and the tan start to fade instantly around my chest and bikini line. (Super sexy!) I am assuming where my underwear/bikini rubs... haha I didn't even go into the water and this still happened! Keep in mind I am not new to spray tans, i had followed all the steps recommended by Glo up and steps spray tan goers should all already know. I had never experienced a tan that has made me fade around my bra and bikini line like glo up did. I even drove 45 minutes out of my way because I thought Glo up would give me this great tan that they promote so much of for future brides. . Glo up I wish you would have responded back to me months ago about my disappointment. I wasn't even that upset until I saw you promoting the tan again stating the tan doesn't stain dresses, which is completely false because it absolutely stained my dress. LADIES I had so much on my mind leading up to wedding, but maybe I should have been smarter in truly testing out my tan the next day in a white tube top, or even put my bikini on the next day, I just didn't think I needed to go to this extent to make sure the tan would work for me when glo up is always promoting the tan won't stain/bleed, will last....So it was just an overall not good experience from me. Future brides, my tan left me feeling embarrassed, unvalued, like I wasted my time, money, and it's something I will have to look back on forever. I can share pictures if needed.

This is the makeup I had done for my birthday dinner on Saturday. You can clearly see this isn't how someone should leave a salon looking after they get it professionally done. I was so upset because getting my makeup done is one thing I love to do for special occasions to make myself feel better. When I first sat in the chair I told Nicole from Gloup Chicago located in Oakbrook I showed her an inspiration picture and I told her that I don't want any fake eyelashes as it's just my personal preference. I've gotten my makeup done many times before and it's never been an issue. Throughout my time in her chair, she kept asking if I was sure I didn't want eyelashes as it would complete my look... she even had me try them on them see if I would change my mind and even after that I still said I didn't want them. My eyelashes are pretty naturally long so mascara is usually enough for me. When Nicole was done I checked out paid & tipped her too... I get to my car and in natural lighting when your not inside a salon it definitely shows more. It was very visible that it doesn't look like I have any mascara on my eyelashes if there is any, my eyeliner is not complete on the one side (almost looks like I slept on it and am wearing it the next day) while the other side does not look like that, my lip is lined completely uneven and my eyes are so dark it almost looks like I have 2 black eyes. It wasn't what I was looking for clearly so after I cried on my way home and took a shower I reached out to the salon owner on Instagram since that's how I found her in the first place and booked my appointment with her. We also had conversed on the phone on Saturday because she said she "didn't handle things like this on Instagram" so per her request I called her. Immediately upon answering she tells me that I didn't want eyelashes so that's why I didn't get the look I wanted. I told her that I wasn't trying to offend her and she said "Oh girl don't worry I'm not offended I just booked a whole wedding party" (I wish I was kidding). She also said "it's clear that you just don't like me and what my business stands for so I don't know how you became a client of mine". And she ended the phone conversation on Saturday telling me that "I'm at a loss for words so I need time to find them and than I can get back to you is that okay" and of course I said Yes. So this morning I hadn't heard anything back so I reached out to hear again asking if she had made a decision. She even went as far as comparing my wedding makeup to the makeup she did on Saturday (screenshotting and sending old Instagram posts of mine). It's very clear she took this very personal when it's not. I paid $95 for her to do my makeup and it's just that I paid for a service that I didn't get what I should have gotten. And it's very clear that my makeup doesn't look good. She was very unprofessional and aggressive towards me and as someone who runs their own business you don't think would have handled the situation like this. I am sharing my story because I think it's unfair that she would only refund me if I agreed to sign a non disclosure agreement keeping me from talking about my experience and writing a review. I hope no one else has to go through something like this because it's very unfortunate it had to end like this. I made a review on Facebook and Vagaro as well because this situation could have been handled so differently but unfortunately it wasn't. After she blocked me and I left the reviews she even went as far as posting about me on her social media calling me "a terrorist", "unhinged", "crazy", "jealous of her business"... (I have only shared one of the many screenshots I have from other people sending me them because I can't see them myself).

Nicole is an absolute gem! I highly recommend her for all events you want a beautiful glow to be confident for. I trusted her for all my events during my wedding season. Whether it was for my shower, bachelorette, rehearsal or wedding day- she killed it! I use her products at home and always get complimented. She is the sweetest, most done to earth- GENUINE soul. I always love the time I get to catch up with her turning my tans. Hands down the best!!!

Don't sleep on Glo Up! Worth every penny and made me look like a dime for my wedding. Nicole was out of town so Sarah sprayed my mom and I. We went to Glo Up on their first day in their new space, there wasn't much but Sarah did everything in her power to make sure my mom and I were comfortable! I was concerned about covering the tan lines on my back since my dress was open back and Sarah made sure everything looked 100% even before we left. Looking forward to going back for another spray!

Nicole was absolutely such a pleasure to work with! She helped me find my perfect shade for my wedding and being that I'm new to being professionally spray tanned she shared so so much information that I wasn't aware of- such as how to prep for your spray tan, how to maintain it, and informed me of all the bad chemicals other spray tans have in their ingredients. She also sells her own spray tan cans that are free of bad chemicals and it works amazingly! I threw out my loving tan and St Tropez cans. Nicole was Amazing! I needed a spray tan for lalapoolza this weekend and I was literally glowing the entire weekend!!! She makes you feel SO beyond comfortable and really knows what she's doing! Sprays from GloUp are EVERYTHING. I have gotten spray tans from Nicole for multiple trips, events, and weddings throughout the last couple of years. On top of getting the PERFECT tan every time, Her professionalism, kindness, and love for what she does is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. From the moment i walked in til the moment i left every single employee starting at the front desk to the owner and down the employees that wernt even servicing me were so kind and professional. They really cared about me and the space is so clean and inviting. The questions i was asked about what look i was going for were very well asked and to the point which i liked and made me feel like we understood each other . When i was in the room with my spray artist I was waiting for the the Product to smell and i couldn't believe it didn't have a smell at all. My artist was quick but at the same time paid attention to detail i was very impressed. I was well informed on how taking home a personal spray mister would elongate my tan a bit since I'm doing this for a vacation I bought their spray and am glad i did just incase you never know what can happen in a few days. 10/10 i recommend this place and can't wait to come back! Nicole is amazing. I have been to her twice now and she has done a great job both times. The quality of the tans are wonderful and well worth the price versus getting a bad spray tan at a salon in a machine operated booth. Nicole is an expert in spray tanning. I have lighter skin so I'm an avid spray tanner for any occasion or vacation. I've been to her about 3 times now and she time she does an awesome job every time. Nicole is extremely professional and made someone who has only had a spray tan once feel very comfortable. I was nervous that I would look too orange or have streaks and she did such a great job I honestly couldn't find any faults. I was in a bind and got canceled on by my usual tanning place last minute. I contacted Nicole through a friend who spoke very highly of her and used her many times. As we all know, tanning with someone new is a frightening and risky experience! Nicole was super accommodating and met me within 2 hours to tan. Her space is very updated and clean which is a huge thing especially with COVID. She explained everything very well and even helped me when I felt a little too tan on my face the next day. I decided to get a spray tan last minute for a wedding I was standing up in and Nicole was amazing! I am 7 months pregnant, so I wanted to check in with my doctors to see if this was safe. Nicole sent me all the ingredients right away and my doctors signed off on it. Nicole made me feel comfortable and was so accommodating when I was trying to find a time to come in. She also gave me great advice on what products to use and tips to make my tan perfect that day. When getting ready with the bridesmaids so many of them told me how awesome my skin looked. Established in 2019.

Nicole Farsalas is the Founder of Glo Up Airbrush Tanning and a licensed esthetician. Starting her esthetics career in Boston Massachusetts she perfected her spray tan technique in the heart of New England working on celebrities, musicians, and news anchors. When Nicole moved back to the suburbs of Chicago she noticed there was a lack of organic spray tan options. I found this tanning salon from a Groupon and they were not snobby or rude at all about using a discount (some places are). They also have a nice referral program. I like that they offer a lot of tan shades. If you are on the pale side I would highly suggest the medium-light shade. My tans always come out pretty even and natural looking. I definitely feel more confident wearing white when I have a nice light tan. If I'm tanning for a Saturday I prefer to go on Wednesday for it to look the most natural, Thursday wouldn't be bad either it's just very dark for any event I have on Friday. Make sure to follow all of their helpful guidelines they email you so that you can have the best tan possible, the tips really do make a difference. I also like that they don't try to upsell you stuff while you are there. They will only suggest something if you ask or it makes sense. Overall I would highly recommend to anyone for any occasion but you can definitely trust them for your big life events!

I know now that an appointment is necessary. The walk in thing is what make the chop shops appealing especially for women like me with up and down schedules. Overall, it was a good experience and I will be back.

I have personally gone to Nicole on three different occasions (one being a mobile spray at a brides home and the other two being in her salon). She sprayed the entire bridal party in maroon dresses (besides one, who was nursing but we were told it was COMPLETELY SAFE, it ended up just being her personal preference not to). Nicole is absolutely nothing but professional and not to mention does an absolute killer job making her clients legit "glow". She is on time, efficient, and does a fabulous job. My tan lasted a full 7 days maybe more with working out, showering and even going into pools on multiple occasions. I am naturally very fair skinned and her tan looks completely natural with a glowy golden finish.The only thing I wish is that her salon was closer so I could squeeze it into my schedule on a more regular basis. I've gotten a handful of spray tans in salon by Nicole - everything was great! Wonderful really. Nicole is very professional and serious about her tanning service. The session was easy and quick, Nicole walks you through the entire session in the booth. Just follow her pre tan and after tan care instructions and you'll be in good shape! Her color is very realistic, I love the way my tan looks after the color has developed and I've showered. If you need a tan for an event I'd recommend going to see her prior to the actual event so that you can test out the tan. I had my first spray tan ever in May and I decided to go to Nicole's salon because of her customer service and quality of her products. I had previously bought some of her products online last summer and the mitt I had ordered was missing and she actually came to my building to drop it off in person (totally unnecessary and so kind). Leading up to the spray tan she was very responsive and gave me all the info I needed for pre- and post-spray. The color was just right and the body wash and lotion I bought at her salon helped my tan last around 2 weeks. Nicole was also just super sweet and made the experience less awkward. Beware!! I had a reaction to the spray tan and found out later from the staff the owner buys cheap spray off amazon and relabels the items! You have no idea the chemicals being sprayed on your body! When I complained to the owner so others wouldn't have a reaction as well, she was completely unprofessional and then turned psycho. I had to file a restraining order because she was stalking my husband and family online. The owner is a legit nut job! This is a joke of a business that needs to be shut down.
