Bought a new alternator from them and it was very bad quality (worse than the alternator I had)…read morereturned it after using it for 15 minutes but they said the warranty had expired. Pretty sure they just didn't want to give me my money back. Gave me a brand new alternator but I havea feeling it's shit as well. going to resell it. Garbage

So, normally I'm a huge fan of Auto Value because they are helpful and don't judge me since I'm not…read morevery auto savvy, but this particular location is NOT my favourite. I was sad when the 'check engine' light in my car went on, but a little happier when my boyfriend told me Auto Value had a device that will tell you what is wrong with it. I guess you just plug it in to your car somewhere and it gives you a code which tells you the reason the light is on. Well, I stopped by this Auto Value on my way to work the other to ask if they could help me out. Not only was I ignored at first, but I would swear that I was almost invisible to them. When I finally was welcomed to the counter I told them what I was there for. I was told that I would have to wait while the guy answered a couple of phone calls. He took someone off hold and started talking about something about his house. This means, he told me I would have to wait while he made a personal call. Not cool. Then, when he finally got off the phone he asked me if I knew where the plug-in was and seemed pissed when I didn't. He had to look it up. After finally finding the spot, he came out to my car with me and tried to plug it in. He tried only two or three times to get the device plugged in and then gave up, telling me it wouldn't work. Not only was he not helpful, but he was flat out rude to me! I realize that I was asking for something for free, but isn't that their job? Aren't they supposed to help people fix and upgrade their cars? I guess not at this location.

We had to wait 3 weeks to get an appointment here. I now see why. What they do, they do better…read morethan anybody else. They were able to correct a problem that we had with rims and tires on my BMW that no one else was able to solve. Our vehicle runs smooth and true now. I also checked out some of their summer rims and tires and will be back in the spring. BTW they charged less than the 2 previous shops charged in attempting to fix the problem.

Super disappointing and careless. Avoid this place if you can…read more Long story short, I spent around $13,000 with Tunerworks to have a supplied V12 engine transplant completed with my Aston Martin DB9. When I first got the DB9 back it was barely running, worse than when it arrived with the old messed up engine. A quick visual inspection highlighted that the upstream and downstream O2 sensors were all cross-plugged on the passenger bank, as well as lug nuts that were not torqued correctly. I also pointed out cabling that was incorrectly routed. The tech mentioned I was 2L low on transmission fluid because it leaked out during install, which was not re-filled (even when I had provided 10L of ZF fluid). Chris (Tunerworks manager) offered to take the DB9 back for a fine tooth comb second inspection after this was brought to his attention. During their inspection he assured me that everything was tightened and correctly installed, however that turned out to be false. My DB9 returned the second time in even worse condition than before, with: a fuel line totally disconnected spraying fuel in the engine compartment, finger loose bolts & screws in the engine bay for various brackets and slam panel, plus 4x rear support brace bolts over torqued to 650nm (factory spec is 85nm). On top of that a tech at Tunerworks damaged my leather seat by sitting in the car with overalls that scuffed my leather on the edges and smeared anti-seize paste on the leather door card, drivers seat, and deep into the seat stitching. Instead of informing me of this, they tried to cover up the damage by incorrectly wiping it more into the stitching. Unfortunately, this soaked into my leather and will need replaced in future... Thankfully the tow truck company I used documented the whole incident while it happened. I contacted Tunerworks about a potential resolution due to the damage they've carried out on my DB9... and... radio silence. Now I'm in the process of pursuing legal action, which I wanted to avoid. If you can, try avoid Tunerworks where possible. They damaged my car and ghosted communication. It's possible in the past that they were a good shop, however, they treated my Aston Martin DB9 like a marketplace Ford F150.
