Ill just say this, flatland can do no wrong. I've reviewed the fantastic beer before but this…read morereview is mostly going to be about the quality of the food. My wife and I stopped by on a beautiful Sunday afternoon for some birthday brews and an early dinner. We ordered a couple of beers, sat outside to enjoy the fresh air and warm sun. My wife had a pilsner which she throughly enjoyed and I ordered a recently dropped wc ipa which was pretty much perfect! Now comes the best part of our visit. The food! My wife had a chicken cesar salad with bacon added. I ordered a tri tip sandwich with potato chips. My wife loved everything about her salad. The chicken and bacon were perfectly cooked and the salad was fresh. My sandwich was hands down one of the best tri tip sandwiches that I have had. The ciabatta bread was perfectly toasted, there was a killer pesto sauce and a cheese on there that tied this together in the best way. I havent even got to the tri tip yet which was very flavorful and perfectly cooked! Just a great experience at a great place!

The brewery looks pretty small from the outside, but there's a good amount of room inside, as well as outdoor seating. Parking lot was a bit smaller, but there's also some street parking. Staff were very nice. They let us know that we were better off getting a larger size for an additional nominal fee. The beer we got was pretty good. Overall, cool place!

I love my tart, vinegar, lemon, capers, and pickled stuff....hubby....eh..not so much. So I ordered German Meatballs and my lovely pretzel with beer cheese. The meatballs are meaty, potatoes are the real deal, mashed and with gravy poured on top! Hubby ordered the beef brisket with spatzle. The brisket was tender and the spatzle was quite mac n cheesy, using gouda as the cheese of choice. So I am loving my lovely pretzel and mustard, loving his brisket and spatzle, and loving my german meatballs. Good heavens this place was made for me! Hubby on the other hand is not a fan of tart or cheesy. So he is less than satisfied. In order to rectify this problem I order the Haus Plate with the sweinschnitzel and mashed potatoes and gravy. It comes with sauerkraut, rotkohl, and seasonal veggies (sauerkraut and rotkohl on the side). The beer of choice is hefeweizen, it goes well with the tang of the dijon mustard. Hubby wasn't a fan of the orange notes. Hubby did appreciate the sweinschnitzel and seasonal veggies though. Hooray! I love coming here and will continue my patronage!! Also a fun little trivia night took place at the end of our meal. We participated and got quite a few answers right. Cool beans!

The atmosphere is perfect to watch games at, decompress after work with coworkers/friends, or a nice casual dinner night with the fam. There is a variety of seating throughout the restaurant. You've got the bar top, high top tables, 4 top tables, and bench tables for large groups. Our server, forgot his name, frequently checked in on us. Yet, women being women catching up we had to keep saying give us a few mins. Haha! We appreciated his diligence in trying to serve us and getting food into our bellies. I ordered the Haus Fries which the cheese oddly reminded me of In N Out's animal style fries sauce (HUGE FAN btw). Fries were meh and I had to ask for extra cheese. The taste I couldn't get over so next time I'd opt for something else, this is just me. I only want that taste from In N Out. My friend ordered the Haus Burger. Super juicy and my kind of meal. Highly recommend it!

Great time and great food tonight at Paesanos Elk Grove!…read more Good food and happy hour drinks were on point (as always!) The place was very busy, and our server Jess took great care of us! This is the reason Paesanos is our go-to spot whenever we have friends or family visiting from out of town! Thanks!

Coming here since 2017, "frequent flyers" driving from Rocklin…read more.. Food: OK, when compared to previous dining experience over the years. Ambiance: Always good Service: Great, until we received the bill and the Server's response to our request for a correction We ordered the Pork Fusilli, and a Sicillian pizza, added a $5 Salad (pix attached). Server gave us the bill, upon review, we noticed a "1/2 Caesar Salad" and a corresponding $13 charge, not $5... Certainly NOT what we ordered . We explained to the Server the error and she apologized, said the bill will be corrected. Upon the Server's return, she said she was sorry and informed us we ordered the Caesar, not the regular $5 salad. Really? Instead of correcting their mistake, we now found ourselves having to explain to the Server, twice what actually happened while she took our order, I pointed out to their menu and I said "we wanted to add the $5.00 salad". That was it! We never asked for the Caesar, and specially a "half-order". The Server emphatically refused to correct the mistake. Obviously her decision would have never be my choice, had I been the Server, or the owner of the restaurant. We hate giving bad reviews, but being unnecessarily placed in this awkward position we did not appreciate it.
