    Beef/Lamb Gyro bowl
    Amber N.

I was craving Mediterranean food and luckily I was in the area so I decided to stop by. I got the beef and lamb gyro bowl. They brought the bowl out to my table, which was nice because I thought I had to pick it up from the counter. When I ordered the FroYo, they asked me if I wanted it now or later and I said later. The cashier/waiter had was really nice and it was really easy to talk too. He explained the difference between the Mediterranean and the gyro bowl. The food was really good meat was very tender and the bowl felt like a healthy rice bowl and the FroYo was delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant had a lot of space with plenty of seating even a whole family of 10 people came right after me and they served them very quick.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I ordered food through DoorDash here several times and I am never disappointed. The food is very good and sooo fresh! This time, we ordered the Gyro Bowl, Gyro Plate and the Greek fries. I also ordered an extra spicy yogurt and tzatziki sauce which were yummy! The food came in good sized portions and was tasty. While the fries were little soggy due to getting it by delivery, I'm sure they would be very good if eaten there because they were full of flavor!

Today I've decided to try their Chicken Gyro/Pita - I've already tried twice their Souvlaki Platter with Chicken. I love eating here. It feels healthy with all the veggies and the Tzatziki sauce. I just can't help feeling good after eating a meal here. No regrets. In fact I'm so glad I made this my food choice.

Continently located in a shopping center with lots of free parking, based on the crowds this restaurant is very popular amongst the locals. They offer a large menu of favorite dishes to satisfy your Greek style dishes. The service is quick and friendly. Consider ordering in advance on the app to time your arrival. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is open with lots of indoor tables chairs and booths.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]During fair weather or when the restaurant is a bit too smoky, there is a small outdoor patio with tables and chairs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I've tried this place a couple of times now, and it's one of the closest spots around for Mediterranean-style food. I like their variety of options, and the portions are generous for the price. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only downside is the location--it's in a prime spot inside Ridge Plaza, the area can get busy during the weekends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] FOOD: Nick's Fries (4/5) - A solid choice and a generous portion, great for sharing between 2-3 people. Chicken Gyro (5/5) - Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Beef Bowl and Salad (5/5) - Delicious and well-balanced overall.

Been here a few times and the food is good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is clean and the service is pretty quick.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have cool drinks there as well. I forgot what theyre called, but there was a hibiscus one that was pretty good. I got the gyro bowl and my gf got the gyro pita. Both tasted great as expected and the fries were good too, not soggy.

Food is always a 10/10. Hot, fresh and flavorful. Customer service is always wonderful. If you go make sure to enroll in the points rewards club. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean and up kept every time I have gone in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great place to enjoy a good meal. Especially right after the gym.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Been riding the Dubai Chocolate hype and heard they were selling Dubai Chocolate Froyo so here I am! Out of all the different new Dubai Chocolate items that have popped up at all the chain restaurants, I must say this was one of the best! The tartness from the froyo complimented amazingly well with the dark chocolate, pistachio cream and crisp kataifi. This dessert was not too sweet and I really enjoyed the crunch of the chocolate shell and kataifi. Would highly recommend it! We also ordered their falafel pita. Everything in the pita was so fresh and the tzatziki sauce was so refreshing! This was the perfect healthy dinner! So glad they have vegetarian options! We will definitely be back!

Came here Tuesday randomly for dinner and from the outside it looked empty but inside was pretty crowded to my surprise. I've eaten at other NTG location but in the Bay Area and the food here was just as delicious. What I will say though it felt like quantity was a little less than what I'd get back home. Also we eating for what seemed to be about 20 mins. I believe there was a mistake on someone's large mobile order and someone else had taken it so that put the kitchen behind in making everyone else's order. Wouldn't expect that to be the norm. Over all food was good, got 3 Gyro plates which comes with side salad, choice of meat, fries and pita bread. I wish they provided more fries like they do back in SJ. Location is very spacious and modern compared to others I've been in. Love their mustard sauce mixed with a little bit of ketchup . Would recommend, but you might leave hungry if you're a fatty like me. Losing 1 star due to long wait.

This place is consistent when it comes to freshness and flavor. Tried the Nick fries with chicken gyro meat. I would have liked to have more sauce, but you get a lot of fries with it.

Food: 4.5 Mics Service: 5 Mics Ambiance: 4.5 Mics Food: Beef/Lamb Gyro Plate was delicious! It is basically a Gyro that is not wrapped but on a plate. It wasn't was I thought it was but it was good. The meat was seasoned well. The veggies were fresh and cut up pita bread was amazing. The nicks fries could have been a meal in itself. All in all, I do like to come back every so often. Service: The service was superb. Very friendly and they brought the food to the table. Very kind and great. Ambiance: Aesthetic was nice but some of the tables were dirty. Overall, not bad. The bathroom was one of the cleanest I have seen in a minute. Overall, I'll be back. I like this place and the food is tasty and satisfying. Check it, check it out!

This review is about this location in particular. A while ago I would have gave this location 4stars. Now it's only getting 3. I'm not sure if ownership or management changed but whatever happened is definitely noticeable. When I went I was greeted by a young man, it was just an okay interaction, nothing spectacular. I then waited for about 20 minutes for my food. I noticed the food was piling up on the counter and the young lady was not paying attention whatsoever. Me and another lady had to inquire about our food. The second time I inquired because the young lady was not paying attention whatsoever. When she seen my food she took it and put it into a Togo container even though I told them I was eating in. Eventually the young man took charge and grabbed my food from her and brought it to my table. I also noticed that she changed the trash out tied up the old trash put it on the floor and then went to take someone's order without changing her gloves. Not once did she wash her hands, so yea I probably will not be going back to this location. As far as the food quality it was fine. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was clean for the most part but yea I'm super disappointed in the decline of service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Finally a Greek spot in EG! Love this spot and the delicious food they offer. They have a wide variety to choose from between salads, bowls, plates, gyros, and desserts. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Its location is at a prime spot inside the big shopping center off Elk Grove blvd by club studio, they have lots of seating indoor and outdoor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Every time we come the cashiers are always super nice and helpful if we have questions.

We returned many times since then but today, the old memories of why Ariana was one of our favorite restaurants returned. We ordered our favorites: Chablee kabobs, Chicken kabobs, Qabuli rice, mantoos, and Bolani. Qabuli rice or Kabuli pula, is my favorite. The basmati rice is served with the tender lamb meats. It's fragrant, eye-pleasing, and a good balance of sweet and savory spices and ingredients. It surely fits to be called the national dish of Afghanistan. Mantoos (Afghan dumplings) is the must have in my family. It's filled with ground beef and onions, covered with chickpeas sauce and tzatziki sauce and sprinkled with mint. It's refreshing. Bolani (potatoes turnovers) served with my favorite chutney that's made with cilantro, vinegar and garlic. The kabobs were tender and delicious as expected. I always like the foods from this restaurant. Today, the food arrived piping hot!! We did mostly takeouts from this restaurant for years. I noticed the restaurant did a lot of takeout orders but not many eating in. We did dine-in once, a few months ago. The restaurant updated their interior. The interior felt too dark when we went there for lunch. While the restaurant looked cleaner, I wasn't sure what the theme was. The spaces didn't seem to blend together to create a feeling of comfort. It's not enticing for us to stay to enjoy our foods inside the restaurant. But we like the foods so we will return for takeouts.

I especially wanted to see if their lamb shank was still the "star" from my last visit and to try their meat kabobs. So what did we order. 1) Lamb shank (2 orders): again, i believe this entree is one of the best items here. The shank is braised so well that the meat comes right off the bone without any efforts. The flavor is exceptional. it arrives on a bed of rice, hummus, greek salad, and pita bread. This is an item i would order without hesitation. 2) Chicken kabob skewers plate: 6 pieces of boneless white meat that is grilled once the order is placed. The chicken had a nice char and looked great. But the flavor was very mild and grilled a little too long which made the meat a tad dry...perhaps the chicken needed to be marinated longer for the spices to penetrate but the dryness was in preparation over the grill. 3) chicken and beef kabobs skewers plate: again the chicken was grilled a tad too long which made the pieces dry. the beef was moist and had a nice flavor. It also comes with rice and a salad. 4) mixed plate: sliced meat from a rotisserie spit on top of a bed of rice and topped with tzatziki sauce and hot sauce, hummus and greek salad. the sliced meat was a bit dry but more tzatziki sauce on the meat helped. The side salads were very basic. The pita bread is not as soft and fresh as the ones from Jayna Gyro on Alhambra blvd. But I would give 4 stars for the lamb shank and 2-3 stars for the grilled and chicken and beef kabob and rotisserie chicken sliced from the spit.

She'd noticed my growing curiosity about Afghan cuisine from a previous visit elsewhere and gently pointed me toward Chopan Kabob House, insisting it was worth the experience. There was something comforting in that recommendation--like being guided toward a place that already held meaning for someone you trust. When I arrived, I was immediately struck by the restaurant's clean, welcoming atmosphere. The space felt intentional--nicely furnished without being overwhelming, simple yet warm. I mentioned I was ordering takeout, and the gentleman behind the counter handed me a menu. At first glance, it seemed straightforward, but the more I looked, the more it felt thoughtfully curated--each item carrying a sense of tradition and care. Wanting a proper introduction, I chose the Combination Kabob with Tikka and chicken. It felt like the right balance--a way to experience more in a single meal. I was told it would take about 20 minutes, and as I sat waiting, I found myself appreciating that detail. In a world built on speed, those 20 minutes felt reassuring. It suggested intention, freshness, and the kind of cooking that isn't rushed. When I finally brought the meal home and opened the container, I was genuinely surprised. The portions were generous--almost abundant. A vibrant salad added a refreshing contrast, while the long-grain rice was fragrant and perfectly cooked. Then there were the stars of the meal: the Tikka beef and the chicken, both beautifully prepared. Each bite carried depth--layers of spices and seasoning that felt both bold and comforting. It wasn't just flavorful; it felt rooted in something deeper, something traditional. By the time I finished, I realized this wasn't just a satisfying meal--it was an experience that lingered. There's a certain nostalgia in discovering a place like this for the first time, especially through the recommendation of someone close to you. It feels personal, almost like being let in on a secret. I'm already looking forward to returning, perhaps next time to dine in and take in the full experience. And with a menu that promises more to explore, this feels less like a one-time visit and more like the beginning of a new favorite.
