    Lobster Benedict
    Helen L.

Really nice ambiance, I like how open and spacious it is here. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff are friendly. Just an FYI: They charge $20 if you bring your own cake to be had there. We had a group of 8 and this is what we shared and tried amongst the group and my rating: Calamari 8/10 Steak Omelette 7.5/10 Tuna Tartare 8.5/10 This had potential to be a 10/10. It was good, but it doesn't hit the same with regular nacho chips. I feel like wonton chips would compliment it sooo much better. Salmon Croquette Benedict 8.5/10 My favorite of the breakfast items. Lobster Benedict 7.5/10 It's nice that they have actual lobster meat but nothing about it really wowed me for a breakfast item. Cajun Pasta 6.5/10 The seafood flavoring was there, but this dish was really salty. Not sure if it's normally like that or just the day we went. Ube French Toast 8/10 Yummy French toast, just wish there was more Ube flavor to it.

We celebrated two birthdays at Station 16 today, and the weekend was ideal for those that wanted breakfast/brunch, which is only served on the weekend. The restaurant has plenty of tables and booths, a very nice bar and a separate dining room. Our table ordered quite a variety from Oysters Rockefeller, Tuna Tartare, Lobster Benedict, Lobster Roll, Garlic Noodles with Chicken Cheeseburgers, and I ordered a Shrimp Scampi with Linguine, and shared a clam chowder and Caesar salad. The clam chowder was good, and I noticed the healthy portion of celery and leeks, adding to its flavor. The Caesar salad was very fresh with it very lightly seasoned with the dressing. I enjoyed the scampi also, but was a bit overdone, making it a little chewy. Everyone enjoyed their meal, The server was very efficient handling a table of eleven. This is a very popular restaurant with a steady flow of customers, sitting toward the north end of the shopping mall right off Elk Grove Blvd and Hwy 99, plenty of parking spaces, but a challenge finding close parking when it is busy.

I'm always so wearying about ordering oysters, but not from this place. They were so fresh and delicious. Love it with a little lemon. The sea food is excellent as well as the bar. Delicious cocktails, I had a lavender drink and he had an old fashion. Nice to have one in Elk Grove now, conveniently located right off of 99. Has a decent parking lot, it can just get a bit busy so we had to drive around for a spot. No biggie though. Good service. Great date spot, very fancy on the inside - we will be back!

Station 16 is one of those places that makes you think, "Okay... I get the hype." The atmosphere is beautiful, the staff was friendly and attentive from start to finish, and almost every dish looked like it belonged in a magazine. The standout of the meal? The summer strawberry salad. I wasn't expecting a salad to steal the show, but here we are. Fresh strawberries, grilled chicken, and the perfect balance of sweet and savory--it was absolutely amazing. The lemon Brussels sprouts were another surprise hit. If someone told me I'd be fighting over Brussels sprouts, I'd have laughed... until these showed up. Crispy, bright, and packed with flavor. Easily one of the best sides on the menu. The Vietnamese coffee deserves its own paragraph. Whoever decided to put that delicious twist on a traditional Vietnamese coffee deserves a raise. It was rich, creamy, and tasted more like dessert than coffee--in the best way possible. The salmon salad was fresh, flavorful, and another solid choice. I'd order it again without hesitation. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo was good, but it could've used more Alfredo sauce. The grilled chicken was cooked well, but the pasta needed a little extra creaminess to really bring it home. As for the garlic noodles... I think the garlic called in sick that day. The noodles themselves were fine, but when you order garlic noodles, you're expecting garlic to punch you in the face (in a good way). Instead, it barely introduced itself. Overall, Station 16 absolutely delivers on atmosphere, presentation, and service. While a couple dishes missed the mark, the salads, Brussels sprouts, and that unforgettable Vietnamese coffee more than made up for it. I'd definitely come back--and next time, I'll politely ask the kitchen if they can help the garlic find its way back into the noodles.

I'm not sure if this was the same as the Station 16 in midtown, but I thought this location was so much better! I got the shrimp crostini, lobster Mac and cheese, and also their calamari. I thought everything was good. Drinks were good too. Our server was super nice. I loved the interior of this place, the dim lights and spaced out tables made it easy to have conversations. I always enjoyed that it wasn't super loud in here.

This was my first time dining at Station 16. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted right away by a friendly hostess. We had a reservation so there was no wait. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer. Absolute fire! For entrées, I ordered the lobster roll and my boyfriend got the Cajun pasta. Unfortunately, the lobster roll was pretty lackluster but the garlic fries were great. I had a bite of the Cajun pasta and I wasn't impressed. It was just okay. All in all, the ambiance and staff were excellent so I will rate 3 stars.

Station 16 is not only a delicious restaurant to eat at, but also has a pretty ambiance! We recently visited for happy hour, and was not disappointed at all. $2 oyster, discounts on drinks and apps---count us in! The calamari we order was soft and crunchy. Their truffle fries were perfect, and we loved the spinach artichoke dip. We liked it enough that we would like to hold an event there!

This is a tough one. I have been here 5 times now and have really enjoyed the food each time. We have had some amazing experiences in the past. This lead us to invite my father-in-law here for an early Father's Day lunch. We were sat quickly and then the waiting began. Our server who will not be named was initially quick to take our drink order. We each ordered a drink and were constantly surprised at the amount of time it took to get our drinks. I looked at the bar and saw our drinks waiting there. After maybe 8-10 minutes without anyone checking on us my wife went to the bar to ask about our drinks. Those were indeed our watered down drinks. My beer was cold and one of us never got their drink. The food arrived and it was quite good. I really enjoyed my meal and would recommend the Cajun pasta to everyone. The bill finally came several minutes after our table was cleared. The server stood directly over my wife as she selected the top among. The 20% selection had already been highlighted. My wife felt obligated to keep it that way as she was being watched. Again, I do love the food. It is just this singular time we had atrocious service.

Just finished dinner at Station 16 and am very satisfied @ my first visit. My family has been here a few times and recommended that I give it a go. First off, this is a very nice and quiet upscale establishment. The menu is not overly complex, but upon sharing and tasting our meals, I can honestly state that I am highly impressed. Lexi, our waitress was very professional and has a very nice and noteworthy friendly demeanor. She explained each meal that we ordered in detail, giving us a sense of taste and expectation of each item ordered. The plating was exceptional, and the taste was a bit more than expected. Kudos to the cooking staff. I must say that Lexi and her comportment was the highlight of our meal. The menu items are a bit on the pricey side, but with the ambiance and the service experienced tonight, we were more than satisfied. Lexi offered us a choice of desserts and even stated that they had ice cream. Well, of course, that said, we enjoyed both the apple pie and the chocolate cake. If I didn't know any better, I suspect that Lexi baked these delicacies herself. Quite scrumptious and yummy, thank you, Lexi and Station 16! I highly recommend that you come often to share the wonderful meals that are available. There's an extensive wine list and plethora of other libations that we can't wait to try out. Please let friends and family know that this establishment is well worth every dollar spent.

5 star experience with bonus bonus bonus stars for their treatment on the eve of Mother's Day. Service was great. Our server was attentive and kind, food came out very quickly. Our server also confirmed we had a mom at our table and brought out a rose to celebrate her! She felt so special and thought that Station 16 doing this act of kindness was above and beyond. They dimmed the lights around 7 which was a nice touch, this is a great spot for nice dinners with friends/family or a date night. We had cocktails and mocktails which were refreshing and they had a lot of unique options. I initially held off eating here because I thought it was a seafood restaurant but once I saw the menu I realized there are TONS of food options even without seafood. I'm so thankful I booked our dinner here and we will definitely be recommending and coming back. We tried the chicken salad, Cajun pasta, burger, garlic noodles, Brussel sprouts, pretzels, and clam linguini. Everyone either finished their plates or took home leftovers with full bellies. The Brussel sprouts are a MUST! Food and plating looks amazing but tastes even better! You will not be disappointed with this restaurant.

    spinach & artichoke dip

came here on a little sunday night date, and made a reservation ahead of time. we were seated immediately. the parking lot is huge, with plenty of space. i loved how dark and intimate it is! we ordered the spinach artichoke dip to start, and it came with chips. neither of us had tried a spinach dip before, but we loved this. the chips were also fresh out of the fryer, super crispy, salty, and hot. we also ordered their lobster mac n cheese and the steak. the lobster mac n cheese came with huge chunks of plentiful lobster, i was really pleased with the quantity. it was loaded with cheese, but surprisingly not overly rich. their steak was cooked well, but could have done with a little more salt, we found that it was a little bland by itself. overall a pleasant experience!

Matt was very friendly and understanding when he realized that we intended on being in the Velvet Martini Lounge, not the Sheldon Inn Restaurant. He went above and beyond by introducing us to an employee who worked at the Velvet Martini Lounge and escorted us upstairs to the lounge. Upon being seated at the lounge, we were greeted by server James, who provided us with menus. Our sole purpose was to connect solely over adult beverages, so we both placed orders for drinks. My wife ordered the Big Shot Martini with blue cheese stuffed olives, and I ordered the Havana Haze (a rum-based drink). As we slowly sipped our drinks, we enjoyed our date night in the dimly lit, romantic ambience of the lounge. The background music was played at a perfect volume to where you could hear the music as equally as you could hear the individual(s) talking at your table. James did a great job of not being a "helicopter server" by periodically checking in on us. We intended on ordering a second round, but the drinks were so deliciously stiff (a sneaky stiff) that we decided it would be a wise decision to end the night. I cannot wait to make a return visit to celebrate one of our monthly anniversaries, I recommend checking out Velvet Martini Lounge!

The espresso martini was the best cocktail out of the 3 we ordered and we were glad we got it to redeem the other drinks. There was a good amount of people here, some out celebrating birthdays, some on dates, and some tables of friends just hanging out and having food and drinks. There was also an outdoor area from the restaurant below which seemed to have a nice dinner setting. I would say the velvet martini is worth coming by if you're in the area and looking for drinks, but it is in a much more secluded area.

Service: Decent, friendly, and informative. The staff was happy to explain the different drinks and cigar options. Rare Pours: They have 100+ whiskey selections from around the world, including hard-to-find and allocated bottles like Pappy Van Winkle. DRINKS I recommend: * Espresso Martini: A classic espresso martini served in a stemmed coupe glass with a nice foamy crema top. * Yellowstone from the Smoke Box: WhistlePig 6yr, Demerara simple, orange, and Angostura bitters. * Gotham from the Smoke Box: Angel's Envy, Carpano Antica, orange, and Angostura bitters. CIGARS: The cigar room has more than 168 selections. If you like sweeter, aromatic cigars, I'd recommend these popular Drew Estate options: * Lava Toro Latte: Mild-to-medium bodied and box-pressed. It tastes like a premium coffeehouse drink, with creamy mocha, espresso, vanilla, and caramel notes. Smooth and buttery. * Deadwood Sweet Jane: Mellow-to-medium bodied with a strong hit of sugar and vanilla bean sweetness. If you're a regular, you can even request a locker to store your cigar and liquor collection. Seating & Ambience: Big, comfy sofas and a dimly lit, relaxed atmosphere. It's a nice spot to sit back, have a drink, and enjoy a cigar. One downside: The smoke smell definitely lingers throughout the lounge. They do have a specialized air-control and filtration system designed to keep the space comfortable, but you can still smell the smoke pretty much everywhere. Overall, a cool spot if you're into bourbon and cigars or just want a more laid-back lounge experience at Sky River Casino.

I love my tart, vinegar, lemon, capers, and pickled stuff....hubby....eh..not so much. So I ordered German Meatballs and my lovely pretzel with beer cheese. The meatballs are meaty, potatoes are the real deal, mashed and with gravy poured on top! Hubby ordered the beef brisket with spatzle.
