Delicious coffee/lattes. Really good quality ingredients. Id say the only down side is how small the place is and if it's busy it's hard for everyone to even get in a line to wait. But the line goes quickly so don't let that discourage you. Their products are good quality, the barista was delightful. (I went yesterday afternoon) I didn't see the Lavender latte until i already ordered (peppermint mocha) so I definitely have to come back to get it. I love lavender!!! I definitely will be back. This coffee shop is probably the most eccentric of the Clintonville sort in that it is a gift shop incorporated into a coffee shop. As a result, for someone who uses it exclusively as a coffee shop, the atmosphere may seem a little bit cluttered. After all, it is a converted auto garage. However, the atmosphere is quite charming to look at. Global Gallery excels in offering a very high quality product with extensive tea selections, fair trade coffee and tasteful baked goods (some of which come at quite the price). The zucchini bread and the pumpkin bread are to die for! A lovely touch is the fact that the food and drink are served in what seems like homemade plates and mugs. For the most part, the service is quite friendly. However, you do run into an occasional unenthusiastic or unfriendly worker. I took my car in for service at Bernie's garage and decided to go on a local walkabout... Stumbled upon Global Gallery/fair trade coffee. Quaint. Friendly. Soooooo Clintonville!! Conversations ranged from what books to read, to the best place to have dinner, to the best board games of 2014. And don't let me forget to add that the coffee was very very very good as well. They also have a quaint little gift shop of handmade global goods. Madded + were photographs displayed of a local photographer named Ua Chamberlain... quite lovely. Was looking for a place to get some work done on a Saturday morning and wondered in here. There was a farmers market going on outside the shop so the space was a little on the busy and loud side but once that wrapped up it was relatively calm. I was with my girlfriend and we ordered a variety of things. Two lattes, HoneyBear and Pumpkin Spice, a blueberry muffin, an orange spice donut, and a sinful cinnamon roll. Both of the lattes were good and hit the spot. As for the baked goods they were good but nothings crazy. The orange spice donut had a very powerful orange flavor, the muffin was what you would expect, and the cinnamon roll was HUGE and tasty. All and in it was a good experience and if I was in the area I would go again but I don't think I would make a trip to specifically come here. read more

This was a quick stop in our afternoon journey. But, I came here with my girl friend during the Clintonville farmer's market on a Saturday. If you don't know where Global Gallery is, it's smack in the middle of the Farmer's Market. I ordered an Iced Caramel Coffee and it was delicious. I could have most certainly ordered another one. We spent about 30 minutes sitting inside (their outside seating was filled) just chatting. It's a very quite and quaint coffee place. There wasn't much interaction with the employees since we both just ordered a simple coffee, but they were friendly when we did speak with them. If I lived in Clintonville, I would certainly come back. I'm sure I will return with my friend when I come to visit! Thanks again for the great coffee! read more

You can totally feel the diversity love, here. Arts and crafts are a specialty here. I especially love the European and African tapestries - the bold colors and vivid designs leave me craving a few. Maybe one, two... three? I hate to limit myself. I especially love the big covered patio out front. Perfect for people watching. Fare trade is a big phrase around GG. This is a great atmosphere for food and relaxation. Options for lunch have recently been added like the (fantastic) butternut squash chili to go with a morning cup of coffee (fair trade) or a locally made treat (the oatmeal cream pies rock). They've made several modifications in the past months to continue to provide a great atmosphere. The people have been the consistent smile and personality of the coffee shop. It has been nice to see the menu expanding from just treats and coffee to include meal-type fair too. The chili has been great this winter. Wonder what blossom out if the spring menu? read more

This is such a fun little place. Most surprisingly they serve alcohol here & have a few specialty cocktails. Live music from local bands. The only bummer is there's not much in door seating. Definitely a great grab & go type place. read more

I like it here. I almost love it. It feels like an old art studio inside, which is really cool, but I wish it were cozier. The coffee was great; I sort of made my own and ordered a honey lavender latte. The barista could have been friendlier for certain, which would have kicked things up a couple notches. I go to Global Gallery in Clintonville when I'm in the mood for a cup of coffee in a quiet location. They have a nice covered patio with big tables and comfy chairs. I started going there on a weekly basis after I became tired of how crowded CupOJoe can be. This little quiet place is really nice when you want to be left alone. They have organic fair trade coffee and espresso along with a juice bar, which is great. They have freshly made carrot, apple, orange, ginger, etc.. whatever you want - they will make it for you. They also have smoothies. I think this place is a little too hippie for me, really. But the staff is friendly and the place always feels very welcoming so I give it a two thumbs up! read more

So here's the deal with Global Gallery. They are an awesome place to grab a cup of coffee and dive in to a book or surf the internet. They've got a great, laid back, atmosphere. not only this but the people are great, too. Some genuine people work there and run the place. the coffee they serve is great and their other drinks(coffee relates and otherwise) are always a treat. the honey bear latte is a great sweet espresso drink and their chai lattes are incredible. Depending on when you visit, you may catch and employee grinding the ingredients for their homemade chai. You read correctly, completely homemade and completely delicious. they sell a large variety of fair trade coffee beans and they pride themselves on local roasters and local products in general( baked goods, clothing art, etc..). Another AMAZING treat at global gallery is their kitchen. All homemade, largely organic, and completely delicious. In the words of Samuel L. Jackson in "Pulp Fiction", it's some seriously gourmet sh-......err stuff. Blueberry(the man who is responsible for at least five pounds of my acquired weight(haha) is always coming up with new creations. pizza, quiche, soups, you name it. its awesome! truly an addition the the already great global gallery. they would be lacking without their great food. my words only can hold so much weight, please.....PLEASE do you taste buds a well deserved favor and grab a bite at Global Gallery. They are my go to place for good coffee, drinks( did I mention they serve local beer and wine), and food. I just ate a spinach and kale quiche and it was like I died and went to some fluffy, eggy heaven. now they do serve vegetarian and vegan dishes too! Seriously, try this place out. Came here the other day to meet a friend in the area. We tried to get something to eat here but they were literally out of all 5 food options on the evening of the Clintonville Farmers' Market. Very bad planning on their part. That said, in general this is a nice little hippie coffeeshop with nice fair-trade coffee, a good alternative to the Starbucks across the street and the Cup o Joe a few blocks down. This is my first time in this space, as I am from the Nati. One of my biggest complaints about the Nati is the coffee culture. Global Gallery is a great space! Plenty of room to lay out my books and laptop. There is a large patio, which on an unusually warm March day was enjoyable. Great music and coffee. Sorry to say... I have loved this place and have been buying my coffee here instead of at the Starbucks that is across the street when I am in this area . But I was served an iced latte with curdled milk on my last visit. I got it to go and didn't realize until I had driven off and too far away to return. But seriously, I think you can see curdled milk when it is being poured. Very disappointed and grossed out. Will think twice before spending money here again. read more

This review focuses on the coffee shop aspect of the business. There's a good selection to choose from including food/snack items prepared from other local establishments and I'm guessing that the coffee, like their wares, is free trade. It's quite tasty too. Indoors it feels like a display room, since there's lots of stuff for sale along the walls. I don't see myself going out of my way to spend a lot of time in there due to the lack of a coffee shop vibe, but there's wi-fi and outlets. Outside there's a nice covered seating area which I find more pleasant. The building looks like it was a body shop once upon a time and hopefully something similar will happen to the Jiffy Lube on the adjacent corner. it's nice to have a good number of coffee options in Clintonville. read more

I can't really say anything bad about Global Gallery. Anyone specializing in fair trade handmade goods and fair trade coffee gets a good review from me. I like the fact that the location is at an old service station. It is repurposing in the best way. The coffee is more than serviceable, and it is close to other antique shops and bookstores in the area that I like to peruse. I love the recent addition of the food menu where you can choose from soup, momos or quiche, just to name a few. Global Gallery has become a favorite lunch spot for myself and my husband.
