He likes what he likes just like other business owners in this type of field. Don't waste his or your time though by bringing in items that either have no gold, sterling silver or real diamonds UNLESS the items are designer brands like Prada, Louis Vuitton etc. He still tries his best to make an offer on 'not so great' items when others would just turn you right down. Of course he is going to give you the best prices when it comes to Troy Bullion whether bars or coins. Also, makes very generous offers on gold karate rings and will add more money into the mix when diamonds are on them (even if they are a little small). I called the place and they told me that they were a David Yurman Boutique and that they keep more inventory than the David Yurman store in Buckhead. I visited the location shortly after to find that they do carry a lot of David Yurman inventory. However, they did not have the specific item I was looking for. They told me that the David Yurman store in Buckhead only carries items for men...well I knew that was not accurate as I have been shopping at the Buckhead location for 15 years. They also told me that they could check the Buckhead location for inventory. I thought that was odd and opted to go to the Buckhead location anyway. Once an associate came to help me, I had what I wanted in less than 60 seconds. I will try Brown & Company again as it is a large store. I think it helps to know what you are looking for and all your options when shopping anywhere.
