We tried to find the owner, but there wasn't any luck. We decided to keep him. Well there is a reason they call these dogs fur missles. He was good dog, but he needed experienced training. That's were Randy and Lauren stepped in. They worked our new boy, and he is like a new dog. He is still the goofy funny dog that we sent them, but he has a solid foundation for obedience now. Randy didn't just train our dog, but they also trained us on how to handle a very high drive dog! I have trained big Bullies, but this breed needs a different tact. My wife was so nervous around our new Malinois, but she is confident in handling him now. We also have two dachshunds, and they happened to have one in for training. I have never seen a dachshund behave so well. It was amazing to see! I don't think I could recommend Alpha K9 any more. This Pet Resorts of America sits on Charlotte Pike in West Nashville and is perched up on a hill overlooking the busy street below. The dogs have to love this view when they are playing outdoors...so many cars to bark at! We usually take our little dude, Tucker, to day care twice per week, so for us it was more cost effective to buy in bulk. We purchased a set of 10 visits and the staff are good at keeping up with renewal times so he never goes without his play days. This location has two sides/buildings...one for grooming and the other for daycare. They are connected, but have different entry and pick up points/times. We have utilized their grooming services, but for us it is a little too expensive for the low maintenance coat that our pup has. So, we now take him to the nearby Petco every few weeks at a discounted price comparatively. For daycare, the price is decent, and becomes better with package pricing. Tucker loves his day care friends and family, and they love him! Even if we are gone for a few weeks, when he walks in they immediately greet him by name and rush him back to the play areas. We also have special food we feed him that requires refrigeration. They made sure to ask if he likes it heated or cold. Heated of course because he is spoiled, but he will eat it either way...and it was nice that they asked! Overall, we really enjoy Pet Resorts for our little dudes day care shenanigans!

To be fair, I will discuss both the positives and negatives. Positives: This business offers an option to board your dogs in the Nashville area that has, at least, a little bit of exposure to the outdoors. There are not many options close to the city. The most positive aspect of the kennel is the quality and friendliness of the staff. Negatives: I think this business is overshadowed by thinly veiled deception. The pictures on the site show dogs swimming in pools or playing in outdoor spaces. One needs to dig to discover that this kennel only guarantees to put your dog in a kennel with two undefined "walks" a day. To have your pet play with other dogs or swim in the pool, you must pay for each experience per day. Be sure to take a walk in the facility before committing your dog to stay there. A walk in the compound will reveal countless unhappy dogs barking at you for attention. This reminds me of visits to maximum security prisons. I dropped my dogs off and they were quickly overheated. This was on a Thursday. On Friday, I wanted an update of their health and a picture of them in the pool or play area. There was no response. If you check the kennel hours and times for staff response, they are highly restricted. The prices for putting your dog in a hot kennel with minimal interaction is $69 per day, per my experience as the base line price. I find this overpriced. Then they charge additional fees for things like playing with other dogs. I found this practice to be deceptive and insulting. I will never return to this facility. I can only thank the kind staff who work in a deceptive, potentially harmful, business model. Pet Resorts of America Nashville should be ashamed to be a business. You have the opportunity to do much better.

I have been going here for the last 5+ years and it was fine until a year ago. One of my cats…read morestarted excessively licking his fur and was getting bald spots. I took him in and they said it was fleas so they gave him shots. I give my animals, 2 cats and a dog, oral flea meds monthly. The same cat I took in previously kept licking again and bc of all the lost fur I went back to cornerstone. They told me it was fleas again. I was perturbed bc we have flea spray for the house and were giving the pets pills monthly. I took my cat back yet again in Nov/December and this one nurse asked me about the flea meds. I told her it was the pill and she says very loudly and abruptly "THE PILL IS FOR DAILY USE ONLY NOT MONTHLY". I told her I didn't know, it doesn't say that on the box for the meds. Another woman comes into the room, she was much nicer and she checked my cat; they told me since he didn't have fleas he has a skin allergy. I couldn't believe it. they gave him some shots. The nice lady told me she had the same breed of cat as mine, as did her mom and these cats are highly allergic and have skin sensitivities. She was so kind and I felt reassured. Today I went back to get another allergy shot for my cat. The same rude nurse took me into a back room and asked if I had been keeping up with my cat's flea meds. I said yes. She asked if I had been treating the house. I said yes. She asked me what brand of flea medicine I was giving my cat. I told her it was advantagex or something. I'm sorry i didnt memorize the brand I had no idea I was getting quizzed today. Should I start listing the ingredients next? She left the room and I waited for 10 minutes and she comes back in and snatches the stethoscope off the counter and slams the door. I wait another 10 mins and she comes in with the shot. She tells me she'll have my file Up front. I get up to the counter- she's whispering to one of the secretaries with her hand over her mouth and the secretary looks at me. The entire time I stood there uncomfortably while I waited to pay my bill. The rude red haired nurse/ lady whatever she is. I didn't have a problem with cornerstone until her. I'm not even sure that I warranted such bad treatment. I'm just a normal person who tries my best when it comes to my pets.
