I took it back and the guy replaced it with an entire new screen, explaining there was a defect with the initial replacement. Luckily, I was still in the mall when I noticed the issue. To this day, I still have issues where my touch screen stops working. I've gotten used to quickly pressing the power button off and on, for everything to work again. Fortunately, I don't use the responsive touch features, because those were messed up, too. I 100% regret going here to save a buck. I'll most likely end up going to Ubreakifix or even the Apple store, to have my phone re-fixed, thereby spending more money than if I had not tried to be cheap to begin with.

I explained the situation and he gave me his number and told me to come back during a weekday when he would be less busy and he would replace it. I reached out to him and came back 9 days later and he took my phone and replaced the screen within an hour for no extra charge. I spoke with Jonathan and told him that I tested the charger with a multimeter and it seemed to have the right voltage. But I told him not to take my word for it because maybe I didn't test it correctly. He took a look at the charge port of the computer to make sure it wasn't physically damaged. The port was fine. He took another charger and plugged it in just to rule out a charger problem; the new charger started charging the computer!??? Out of curiosity, I asked him if I tested the charger incorrectly by telling him how I did it. He said that just because I was getting the correct voltage that didn't mean that it was supplying the right amperage. This may be helpful to others that read this review since many of us use YouTube to try and fix things: I learned how to test my charger by watching a YouTube video by a "computer tech". He showed how to test a laptop charger, and stated that if the voltage is correct, then the charger is fine. He didn't state that the voltage could be fine, but the amperage could be a problem. The lesson here is don't rely on YouTube or assume the worst if you try to fix your computer by watching a video and running a test on it that fails. Just take your computer to a honest and helpful professional like Jonathan. He didn't charge me any fee to take a look at my computer. I just bought a new charger from him and I'm using the computer now to write this review. If I need help with a computer repair in the future then I'll just go back to this shop. Highly recommend that you take your computer there if you're having a problem with it.
