Well, right in the (hopefully) middle of the pandemic I discovered I could no longer connect to the internet. After receiving my vaccine months later (I'm immune compromised) & took it into the Geek Squad service desk that is within the Customer Service area. (A really polite, masked salesperson directed me to where I needed to go.) I realized I was supposed to make an appointment, but thought maybe they would at least let me do that while I was there. There was only one Geek Squad rep who was taking care of another (very demanding customer about his phone). Eventually, as I was thinking about leaving so I could go home & make a valid appointment to come home, when one of the customer service ladies told me she could help me and waved me over. I apologized for not having an appt.,but she very politely told me not to worry. Honestly, I could go into all the details of our conversation but I'd rather just say it was a pleasant experience. Ranae (CSR) was helpful & it was decided that they would back everything, wipe the computer clean & reload all my software. It cost me $8.00 to purchase a thumb drive. (I didn't have to do that since I have backups on the cloud, but I'm extra careful. That was on Friday and by Sunday early afternoon I"d received a txt message letting me know I could pick up my laptop. It linked me to a site that had me make an appt window to pick it up. Matt, my CSR this time went over what had been done and was also great. We were done in about 10 minutes time. I got home and not only was my computer able to do what it hadn't before, but, they had also reloaded many of the items they said I could potentially lose. I just wanted to leave a 5 star review for this store because Ive shopped here many times & I've never experienced pushy or bad salespeople. If I tell someone I don't need help, they leave me alone. Yet, if I so need help I always get it and have never felt like I was being pushed to buy one thing over another. Because of this, I've probably spent at least $15,000 over the years from a 4K 60" tv to an $8 32GB thumb drive.

After an unfortunate and not so graceful swan dive my iPhone 4s ended up with a shattered screen and after 2 weeks of searching for an affordable repair option I cam across iFix. I have been searching since the day of the incident and all of the shops I found were either in Chicago or the Western suburbs. I could have made an hour drive (if I am lucky and there is no traffic) to have my phone repaired but why take the business out of Indiana. After much souring I found iFix on yelp and best of all they are only about 10 miles from me . Like many people these days my cell phone is my personal phone, home phone and business phone so giving it up for the day is next to impossible. The guys at iFix worked with me to bring in the phone after my work day and fixing it while I waited even it if meant they worked after regular business hours. I am now the happy owner (once again) of a pristine iPhone 4s and I can once again read my emails without looking around the cracks in the shattered screen and I can play angry birds all I want without getting tiny cuts all over my fingers.     The folks at CPR have done a lot of work for me over the years including recently replacing the…read morefront screen and battery on my wife's iPhone 14 ProMax. Few months after as I am replacing my wife's screen protector when the whole screen on the 14 ProMax comes off and I get two white lines across it when I try pushing it back in its place. I take it to CPR who gives me lip service about dropping the phone, blah, blah , blah. None of that happened. I just peeled the old screen protector off. I take it to another shop who look underneath the screen and discover a loose screw which was " probably never tightened up all the way" according to the tech and prevented the screen from settling in 100% , so when I pulled the screen protector off the screen came off with it. I then called CPR again with this new information and got more of the blah, blah, blah bs . Disappointed but I will replace the screen and life will go on but I cannot and will not give them any business again.

    This isn't in regards to any specific store just my sons experience…read more To Xfinity Executive Leadership, I am writing to express my profound disgust and absolute outrage at the catastrophic failure of your company to perform a basic service: porting my long held Verizon phone number to Xfinity Mobile. What should have been a straightforward process instead became a multi day nightmare filled with empty promises, misinformation, incompetence, and a complete lack of accountability from every Xfinity representative I encountered. I began my port request on Saturday at 4:00 PM, with my Verizon Port PIN ready and all required information in hand. I followed every step exactly as instructed. Instead of activation, the system immediately pushed me to call customer service. I was told--incorrectly--that everything would be completed by Sunday morning. Sunday: More Lies, More Delays By early Sunday afternoon, nothing had happened. I called again, this time with a Verizon representative on the line. The Verizon agent was kind enough to offer assistance and explain that, due to Xfinity's delay, additional porting steps were required. The Xfinity representative refused help, insisted everything was fine, and promised completion "within the hour." That was another lie. Monday: No Number, No Work, No Call Back Monday arrived, and my number still had not been ported--meaning I had already been without the phone number I have used for over 20 years for more than 48 hours. I cannot log into my workplace systems without that number because of HIPAA related security protocols. As a result, I was unable to work at all on Monday. Did anyone from Xfinity follow up as promised? No. I had to call again, only to receive more hollow assurances and another "24 hour" window. Another rep personally guaranteed she'd contact me on Tuesday. She did not. Tuesday: Still No Number, Still No Work By Tuesday--still with no working phone number--I again could not work. I had to borrow a phone just to reach my doctors and pharmacies because I recently suffered a heart attack, and I am currently awaiting test results and critical prescriptions. Thanks to Xfinity's prolonged delay, every one of my healthcare providers now had my long standing number falsely listed as disconnected. This is not simply an inconvenience. This is a health risk caused by your company's negligence. My taxes are also tied to this phone number, along with numerous personal and financial accounts. Everything has now been disrupted. Today: Still Not Fixed As I write this, it is now Wednesday. My phone number still is not working. I still cannot work. I have now spent over 7.5 hours on the phone between Verizon and Xfinity, only to be told--yet again--that it may take another 24-48 hours. Even more infuriating is that Xfinity has openly admitted that every single delay was on your end. Real Financial and Personal Damage Your failures have caused: * Over $1,800 in lost wages * A complete disruption of my ability to work * Compromised medical communication following a recent heart attack * Massive inconvenience and embarrassment while correcting "disconnected" status with doctors, pharmacies, and others * Hours of wasted time correcting a mess entirely created by Xfinity * Ongoing stress, anxiety, and frustration What Accountability Will Xfinity Take? After days of broken promises, false information, refusal to accept assistance, and a total lack of responsibility from your staff, I want to know: * What compensation will Xfinity provide for my documented lost wages? * What are the consequences for the repeated delays and negligence? * How does your company plan to prevent this type of failure from harming others the way it has harmed me? Xfinity has demonstrated ineptitude at every step of this process. Your customer service has been dismissive, untrained, and consistently dishonest. The chaos your company created has affected my job, my health, my finances, and my peace of mind. I am making this experience public because no customer should ever be subjected to this degree of incompetence or indifference. I intend to share my story widely, so others understand exactly how Xfinity treats its customers. I expect an immediate and serious escalation from someone with actual authority to resolve this issue and address the damage Xfinity has caused. Marcus (I think that was his name) was very helpful and not pushy in trying to get us to buy phones beyond what was covered by the allowable trade in plan. Unfortunately, the ones we wanted weren't in stock, so they were ordered to be sent to our house. With two more phones at home that needed updating, we also ordered to phones online. All phones arrived on the earliest expected date. We ran into an issue activating them ourselves, so we returned to the store after work and arrived about 35 minutes before the scheduled closing time. The store manager, Cassy (?), took the time to review each phone and be sure all aspects were working and replaced all our SIM cards. She was friendly and her customer service was on point. We were also impressed that the other associates were working together on store closing protocol as it was a few minutes past posted closing as Cassy worked on the last phone. Another associate, Janay, came by to make sure everything was running smooth. She was just as friendly as her manager as we chatted while the fourth phone finished. Cell companies are not a fun place to visit and I have always likened a visit to buying a new car with all the back & forth. However, we have always had a positive customer experience at this location (and we have been patronizing this place since it first opened as a Sprint store!) Kudos to the managers and staff. Customer service at its finest at this store.
