Dr. Gloria came highly recommended. I have gone to her on a few occasions. Today I had to go see her again. The wait is usually an hour. However, she is totally worth the wait. She is very thorough. She is very good at what she does. Today, I needed two things removed. One needed stitches. She did such a good job that I don't think it will scar my face. Both removals are very skillful done. To my every inquiry I was told I am next but no one could answer how long it will take for the Dr. to see me No communication works here. Dr. Gloria Stevens is probably not only the best dermatologist but one of the best doctors I've had. My family and I have been going to her for around 8 years now. She always knows the best treatment for you without being too intensive. She explains why she's doing what she's doing and the effects of it. I recently moved up to San Francisco and am still calling Dr. Stevens to ask her questions and update her on what my doctors are doing up in the bay. I get so many compliments on my skin. Dr. Gloria Stevens is AMAZING, and the best dermatologist I've ever met! She is incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, and kind. Her treatments are the only ones that have gotten my acne under control. The facial scrub she recommended works wonders. She expertly prescribed topical lotions, oral antibiotics, RetinA, and laser treatment, until we found a combination that worked for my skin. I've been going to her for 10 years and she's always great, an absolute pleasure and a privilege to see. Yes, the waiting room is always crowded. I suggest bringing some work with you, or a book, or reading one of the many magazines they have in the waiting room. I don't mind waiting for the BEST. Dr. Liskanich is ok, I've seen him once or twice when the wait for Dr. Stevens was too long... not worth it :/ At least for acne, he wasn't that helpful and kinda rushed me out (he suggested I don't use the sponge that comes with my compact makeup - "It gets bacteria on it from repeated use so... just use a cotton ball or something". ?? So incredibly grateful to Dr. Pham and all the staff. I previously had a bad experience with a dermatologist which triggered a severe health anxiety. Dr. Pham was knowledgeable, compassionate, and empathetic. She took her time with her examinations answered all my questions and educated me on the issue. When I had additional questions she took time to return my calls and again was patient and compassionate. I highly recommend her. She is fantastic.Thank you Dr. Pham! I also want to thank the front desk staff and the medical assistants. The front desk staff is very friendly and do everything they can to accomadate you. Despite the anxiety associated with the visit they make you feel welcomed which is greatly appreciated. Lastly, I also wanted to thank Dr. Liskanich who saw me on a visit when Dr. Pham wasn't available. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. I've read some other reviews noting long wait times. Horrible , just horrible. I went there almost two weeks ago for a V beem treatment because I had redness around my nose & there was a tiny red vain by one of my nostrils. When the called me in to be seen, I waited in that little room for almost 30 min. For second I thought they forgot about me so I left the door wide open. Then when the doctor finally got in he was overly aggressive with the Vbeam laser & I still have red marks on my face after two weeks. Best dermatologist I have ever used. I have been going to her for almost 20 years. She cured my cystic acne issues years ago and I just recently went back to her to have some other work done. I do have warn you that because she very popular and gets things done when she sees problems right there and then so you don't have to do follow up appointments. Which means you will have to account for extra time if you want to see her because she will be working on other patients. The office has 2 other dermatologists and I'm sure they are great, too. But I rather wait an extra hour or two to see Dr Gloria Stevens. So going in expecting 1-2 hour delay, then you won't be disappointed. Also if you want to see Dr Stevens, make sure you specifically ask for her when you make the appointment. It may take a long time to see her, it is so worth it. read more

I was seen by Dr. Diem Pham who is one of the dermatologist in Dr. Steven's office. She was very caring and professional. Her skin exam was thorough and she identified a mole on my hand that needed to be taken off. The biopsy was easier and quicker than I expected. She was very careful and I barely felt any pain throughout the whole procedure. She explained everything to me and I felt very comfortable. I definitely recommend seeing her. My father and I have been to other dermatologists offices and have never been as thoroughly assessed and taken care of as this office. There are 3 doctors in the office and all are very knowledgeable and capable of providing equal care and answering any questions you may have. There can sometimes be a wait when the doctors get busy, especially in the late morning and early afternoon, but I think it's worth the wait. read more

The first appointment I had, I waited over an hour and wasn't seen. The second appointment I had, the Doctor wrote me a prescription for a name brand acne medication, which my insurance wouldn't cover. I asked them to write it for the generic name and they told me to come in and buy it from them instead. I told them I wanted to see if my insurance would cover the generic medication and they told me it would be an additional $25 charge to see if my insurance would cover it. The waiting room is packed so there is no client privacy, the wait times are ridiculous, the front staff is unhelpful, and they are running a racket. No thanks! read more

My appointment was at 9:30 after an hour of waiting I went back up to the front desk to ask how much longer, the receptionist said it shouldn't be much longer and didn't really care that I have been there for an hour waiting. I didn't get seen till after 11, I don't understand why a businesses would make appointments and constantly run long, at least that's what I have seen on other reviews. Dr. Stevens treated my broken blood vessels around my nose with the VBeam Laser. I'm very happy with the results because I wasn't bruised and they were pretty much gone. She's the best doctor that treated me with this laser because other offices either left me bruised or sometimes the settings were not high enough that I didn't get the results I wanted. On top of that, I paid hundreds less than I paid for in other offices. I was also recommended Avene anti redness cleansers and moisturizers which were affordable. If you have rosacea, see Dr. Stevens! She's also such a nice lady too. read more

Every one in this office is so kind I started comeing here years ago the office staff is very efficient boy do they work hard.I recently transitioned into Medicare which means unless you have a pop you have to go to a doctor that except Medicare . So off I go to Pacific dermatology in upland .WHat a disaster they ould not have been less caring sloppy work asked for certain things to be done on ba ck didn't get done I could go on about it .I told my husband I'm going back to DR LISKANICH even if I have to pay I feel way more comfortable and safe in this office. I see Dr. Liskanich here and I always have great service. They are very attentive here and the staff is friendly. They sell various makeup products in the front and all the girls working in the front are knowledgable and have personally used many of the products that they promote. The wait is usually pretty long though, so do keep that in mind, but I just think it's because it's a really popular office and a lot of people want to see these dermatologists. I called to make an appointment in May 2020 and the first one available was for July 10, 2020. I had no choice but to wait. On July 9, they called me to confirm the appointment. I thought "ok, this is professional" and was looking forward to the appointment. I get to the office at 1:50 and see that the building is very old and unkept and something tells me that this isn't going to be a pleasing atmosphere. The receptionist was on the phone and no other patient was there. He ignored me completely for 15 minutes! No "hello" or anything. Finally a female receptionist came to the window to ask "what did you need?" which I thought was strange but I answered back "I'm here for a 2pm appointment with Dr. Stevens." She looks at me and says "oh, well the Dr. isn't here. We called patients this morning." I told her that no one called me today, and I find it suspicious that they called me yesterday to confirm, but not today to let me know not to come in? She asked if I wanted to reschedule...Are you kidding me? How many reasons does one need to make an informed decision? No cordial greeting at window, no call to advise of situation, long appointment wait times, and shabby/old office. Nope. I won't be rescheduling. Seems like a big joke of an office. read more
