The pernil was flavorful and paired well with the Guac and tostones. The chicken empanadas were also packed with flavor. The wings weren't anything special the flavors are your basic flavors but nonetheless they were not disappointing. Our waitress was kind and attentive. Visited this lounge with my friends for happy hour .. The happy hour has drink specials for $6 : Lemon drops, sangria , margaritas, wine etc .. I ordered the red sangria which was good! They also have $6 appetizers as well which I wouldn't recommend their food . I ordered the shrimp tostones which were horrible . I had to send it back. This past weekend was my first time going to Gloria's and it's a hidden gem if you ask me. I was there during a time that was not too busy for a private event of a friend. From my experience, the food was fantastic and the libations were strong if you like them that way! I enjoyed the empanadas a great deal as well as some of the other delicacies friends ordered that I tasted. More importantly the staff was very attentive, warm and friendly. Monica and Sebastian were standouts at the bar and with service and did a great job ensuring we all felt comfortable. The music was on point and helped make the event feel festive!! I went to the women's room, as the biological woman that I am, and security starting banging on the door and harassing me and told me to use the mens room. I felt uncomfortable as I had just walked into the restaurant and a man was yelling at me through the door and banging on the door. It felt as though he was about to break in while I was using the bathroom. When I was done, I walked out and told him that I am in the right bathroom as I am a biological cisgender woman and he kept yelling at me to use the men's room. I showed him my driver's license where it says that I am a female, *BORN AS A FEMALE*, but he kept yelling at me to use the men's bathroom. This place is so disappointing. My husband and I used to order from here all the time. We always thought the food was decent and we consider ourselves loyal to the restaurants we frequent. We ordered through Uber eats and our food never came. Close to $90 never showed up. We contacted the restaurant and they told us they gave the food to the driver. The driver insisted they never got the food. My husband drove to the restaurant hoping to show them we never received the food and talk with the manager who described as curt and a bit rude. They had no interest in trying to help us out as loyal patrons and let us eat the $90 bill. We weren't hoping for a refund, just (even some of) the food we ordered, but they chose instead to lose our future business for that one order. Poor business choice. Very unprofessional and poorly ran. We called to make a reservation and were told that they don't take reservations for the back section. Cool- so we drive there to get a table since it's first come first serve. There were tables open throughout the bar and in the back and when we get inside we're told that all the empty tables are reserved and there wasn't anything available. When we were trying to get assistance the waitresses barely paid any mind to us and just brushed us off. Only recommend going here if you want to waste your time. read more

Ordered from Gloria's via UberEats and was highly disappointed. We ordered a Picada Combo with a few sides but were upset to see that we did not get exactly what we ordered. The Picada mentioned that it was for 3-4 people and was a mix of steak, chicken, sausage, and pork with peppers, onions and cassava. What arrive was mostly cassava with a few pieces of chicken and beef. Instead of the sides we asked for (house salad, maduros, and red beans) we got a bunch of sides - rice, a sad salad, tostones, maduros and black beans. It was nice to see the extra sides but they weren't what I asked for and it seems they were Included to make up for the lack of meat in the Picada. I definitely wouldn't recommend ordering from Gloria's. Although my main complaint was the order, the food quality wasn't that great. The meat could've been seasoned better and they could've used fresh vegetables for our salad instead of tomatoes just about ready to rot. read more

We each had a drink, except my wife DD!! There was a back room with a pool table and an additional bar. A DJ was setting up with standing speakers the size of my bed, right in front of us. Always a great time. Went for out nephews 21st birthday.. Played pool, danced and ate. The food was banging. Can't go wrong. I had a beef stew. It was so good can't go wrong. And my wife had a steak with onions, beans and rice.. Can't go wrong. They have buckets and beer stays on ice. They were gone quick..ice cold beer is the best. They also have great sangria white or red.The D.J. plays everything but majority Spanish from old school mixes to new. And you can recommend a song English or Spanish.. Atmosphere great Gloria always greets you with a smile. And always walks around and talks to everyone. Its comfortable. Can't go wrong with a night out at Gloria's bar. They also have a big menu definitely have to go by and eat some more from the menu. We will be going back soon for my wife's bday. The best part is the waiter and waitresses always walk around also and no need to wait at the bar the bar comes to you. Oh I almost forgot the patio. If you are used to Peruvian ceviche with sweet potatoes, roasted corn, boiled corn and lime juice, this is not the place for you as least for ceviche. Mission Ceviche has set the bar for good ceviche for me and I was expecting something similar. When I ordered ceviche from here, I thought maybe other countries made their ceviches similarly to Peruvian ceviche. I didn't particularly like this ceviche. It just looked like tomatoes, peppers and seafood flowing in a tub full of lemon juice. I actually took a little bite of it and ended up throwing mine in the trash right after. The acidity of the lemon juice and tomatoes threw my tastebuds off from what I'm used to. I was disappointed to have wasted my money on that. This place has been here for years and I'm the first one to review it. lol. This little spot is pretty popular among costa rican crowd. The music is good, it varies from salsa, bachata, , rancheras, merengue, reggaeton and hip hop. The place is not small but it's also not a big place. When they have a full house, the body heats is noticeable. They serve food even late hours, which is awesome. It's not a spot to go to if your single and looking to hook up.
