It was my first time eating at Glory Days. I hadn't heard of it until my mom mentioned they'd recently opened. I took her out to dinner. She mentioned their fish fry Friday. As we approached, I couldn't help but notice the theme and restaurant chain vibe it gave off. Not to mention, they have a to go window, if you're into that sort of thing. If I'm eating out, I prefer the full-service dining room. I haven't seen both options: takeout window & dining room. Sure, there's an option to order to go at a full-service restaurant. What a fab option to bring something special lhome for someone after your meal. Especially, if they can't make it out to a restaurant due to physical constraints. But, this restaurant has a window with full service to go options. Is it to go or a full service sit down restaurant with a menu to order? It's both? And, probably very taxing on the back of the house and their employees. The service inside can improve a bit. It wasn't incredibly friendly but wasn't unfriendly. It was ok. Also, fish fry Friday was packed and the table behind us sent back their fish. The manager caved and gave them their meal on the house. My mom and I were ok. We didn't have alcohol or anything too crazy. She had the fish fry and enjoyed the sweet potato fries. I had a Cobb salad and it was good. They got all of my weird requests correct. Overall, it wasn't the worst experience but it wasn't the best either. Maybe it was the fish fry Friday madness. But, the restaurant wasn't as good as its hyped up to be by the locals.

We live in Homosassa and wanted to try out Glory Days restaurant in Lecanto, a short drive for us. This is a large restaurant with outdoor dining, inside they have a large bar area with high top tables and several booths. The dining room has booths on both sides of the room and tables for larger groups. Multiple TV's on the walls, so no matter where you sit you can watch one of them. Our waitress Brindlin cheerfully approached us and took our beverage order and answered our questions. Husband and I both ordered the Chicken Ranchero wrap and it came with homemade pub chips. After a short wait our food arrived, our sandwiches were huge, stuffed with chicken, bacon, onion, cheese, veggies, did I forget something?? We really enjoyed our meal, it was delicious. Our waitress took great care of us and bent over backwards to please us, yes,she did just that!!! Prices were reasonable, considering the generous portion you were served. I recommend giving this place a try. Debbie

Visited this new establishment and was impressed with the limited hours for training staff. The food was absolutely delicious - I enjoyed the salmon strawberry salad while my boyfriend tried the Bird Dog Sliders for $5. We opted to sit at the bar and received excellent service. However, there were a couple of minor issues that need attention. The timing of the food delivery was a bit off, and the men's restroom was out of paper towels despite being one of the first customers of the day. Overall, a great experience with some room for improvement. Total of bill b4 tip was $42.40. I would suggest to add the calculated tip suggestions to the bill.

The wife wanted to give this place a try and I'm sure glad we did. The place is clean and a lot of big tvs. The service was good. We sat outside to avoid the wait for seating. The food was good we really liked the fried Mac and cheese. I ordered the 1988 steak rare it was overcooked but had good flavor. We enjoyed the experience and Wii be back.

Over priced and Under cooked, plus If you request additional carrot sticks and celery sticks, they wanna charge you $.25 for each!!!

Wow another awesome Local place. Definitely do not judge…read morethis place by the curb appeal Or lack there of. Looks like a biker bar but is a great lunch spot. Stopped in for a business lunch. Ben had the country fried steak. Holy cow it was huge. The mashed potatoes looked awesome also. I had the chef salad with grilled shrimp with house dressing. Huge, overflowing, diverse, fresh and tasty. Mike had the grouper sandwich which was also huge and delicious looking. Great service and awesome food. Great local place.

Wow... what an experience. We ordered 3 large pizzas and 3 appetizers for my husband's birthday…read moredinner. When placing the order, we asked for a supreme with two additional toppings. The lady taking the order only rang in the two toppings, not the supreme. When my husband arrived to pick everything up, she told him they could either remake the pizza or give a credit. We chose the remake, and she said it would be 12 minutes. Well past those 12 minutes, our other food was already sitting in boxes getting soggy. I called and spoke with Monica, who was just as unfriendly as she was when taking my original order. I asked her to please check the appetizers since we had just spent $100 and didn't want to bring home soggy mozzarella sticks, gator bites, and calamari. Her response? While I was on the phone with my husband, she said, "I was going to give you a credit, but since we're having to remake your appetizers, I'm not. You can have the pizza that was a mistake." None of this was our fault. The order was entered incorrectly, and instead of owning the mistake, they acted like we were asking for something unreasonable by wanting hot, fresh food. For the amount we spent, and for a place we've visited many times (a favorite of my dad's), this was extremely disappointing. Mistakes happen--we get that. But the way this was handled was unacceptable. We won't be recommending this location, and if you do order, double‑check everything before you leave. Merry Christmas, Papa Willie's...
