I went in to get a pedicure!!! Fastest thing ever!!! What a waste of my time. Waited there longer to get a pedicure than my actual pedicure . She missed every single step!! Didn't clean under my nails!! Didn't cut my cuticles!! Complained so much when I told her to remove the dead skin. Which by the way was part of the deluxe package. Said I didn't need it but here I am looking at my feet the next day looking ooooo so crusty!!! Also the cheap lotion that they use!! Ugh the smell and the feel!! Left my legs super dry!!! I really wanted an eyebrow wax which I usually do myself but just haven't had the energy. DO NOT GO HERE. There is only one woman that does it and is absolutely terrible. Firstly, they do not use facial wax. The wax they have tugged on my hair during application despite being scorching hot. She also didn't really give me straight lines while waxing for which she tried to compensate by tweezing my skin off. This picture shows only one side but there are little cuts on both sides. To make matters worse she let wax drip onto my eyelids and cheeks and then attempted to RUB IT OFF WITH HER FINGERS. Just in case this hasn't persuaded you enough to not go there, this whole service was provided glove free while she continuously touched my face way more than required. I came home just to do my eyebrows again and cry about the hair I can't instantly regrow. read more

The younger gentleman did my nails this last time and I was a little upset on how they turned out, the angles were bad, a bit rough, and his hands were sweaty lol. None of them wear gloves and nothing is clearly sanitized or cleaned like ever. They also do a pretty bad job with time management, I make appointments and sometimes it's like it doesn't even matter. I gave them two stars because my first experience was a good one...the man who did my nails took his time, was kind, and did a great job. When I went in yesterday for a basic manicure (had an appointment) they were very busy and I was "squeezed in". This time the (different from the first time) man who did my nails was rough and unfriendly. He ripped out a hang nail to the point where it bled! He barely apologized. Honestly the worst set of acrylics I've gotten. They were uneven and bumpy, and my nails got really damaged in the process.

There seem to be great reviews, but what are you Yelpers smoking? Glossy Nails came up short on both overall quality and service! Sorry to say. Main complaints below: 1. Overall dusty (seemingly dirty) hand stations. I felt inclined to keep my elbows in; didn't want to get comfortable here. Actually had to brush off someone else's clipped nail on my chair before I sat down. Really? 2. Very limited filing/shaping of the nail; he pretty much jumped right in to polish leaving some edges rounded, others square. Also, no more than two coats of polish causing see-through streaks toward the tip. Why did I pay for this? 3. Literally cut into my right forefinger with the cuticle clipper, instead of trying to curve around the nail bed with accuracy. While bleeding, I told him to please stop using the cuticle clipper if it was going to be an issue. He offered zero apology and proceeded as if he never messed up... CORRECTION: you did, ouch! Cherry on top? I was charged full-price for this experience. I don't enjoy leaving a service, let alone paying for it, when I'm confident I could have done a better job myself. It's simply unacceptable to leave bleeding after a manicure. I'll continue to hunt around town and see if there may be any better establishments... from my perspective, it can't be hard to beat! read more

First off the person doing my nails - an older lady- gave me a dirty look when I selected the Basic Pedicure, the least expensive pedicure. She barely filed my nails and was really rough with my toes. She dug into my cuticle and trimmed my nails super short even down the sides. I'm afraid I'm going to get ingrown nails now with how she cut my nails. Then when she was giving me the leg massage it hurt bc she was so rough not to mention she kept smashing her boobs against my legs. Ugh! The bathroom is disgusting so plan ahead. if I could give no stars and write a review I would. worst place I have ever gone to get my nails done. Wanted a simple mani and a pedicure with gel polish. The one girl rushed me through the manicure which looks horrible and then handed me off to an older lady. The older lady proceeds to take a sander file and file my toe nails till she cut my cuticle. Then she tries to wipe it to cover the blood. The whole time she's doing my nails she's watching everyone in the salon and not even watching what she was doing. She buffed the toe nails and never even looked at the toe once. They charge extra for callous removal and to do your heals good and she Half assed that too! Would never step foot back in this place. It seems by the number of reviews that I must have gone in on an "off" day or got a new girl or something. I will say, everyone was very polite and lovely to talk with. That said.... I wish I had never come into this salon. I didn't get anything fancy, just a normal mani pedi with regular polish. No gel, no acrylics, nothing that should damage your nails. My nails are still growing out from this experience. She left deep ridges in my nails from where she "fixed" my cuticles. She buffed my nails down to the point where they are super thin now and break easily. My big toe started bleeding yesterday because the nail broke so far down the nailbed. I didn't even stub it, it just touched the chair leg. I will never be back. It's been over a month and my nails are still in horrible shape. As I mentioned, they are growing out finally. For those who love this salon, I'm very envious of your good experiences. I hope you continue to receive good service and that my appointment was a fluke. read more

I just moved to FoCo and I wanted to pamper myself a little bit and get a pedicure. Sifting through the yelp reviews this one looked good AND it was open on Sundays. I called to see if they had any availability and the gal on the phone was super nice and said yes but if I wanted to make an appointment I could do that too, whatever I felt most comfortable with (I thought that was kind of her to ask). We opted for a walk in. When we arrived we were greeted and they immediately had spaces for us to get our services. Kelly was the nail tech who took care of my pedicure. She was so friendly, asked kind questions to get to know me and was very detailed on her work. It was much appreciated especially because I got the cheapest pedicure option ($25) -- I feel like if you get the least expensive service at some places, they rush-- not this place. Rose was the gal who took care of my friends services (manicure & pedicure) and she too felt like she was gentle and very detailed with her work. Will definitely come back. i have never written a yelp review before but felt like i needed to this time. i used to love and frequent this salon all the time for manicures and pedicures before the pandemic hit and a few times during the pandemic. The last time i visited was last summer, and i took my boyfriend to get pedicures. Both my big toenails were so infected, red, swollen and painful for weeks afterwards. I went back today for the first time since then just for a simple gel manicure and was pretty disappointed. The staff is very friendly and nice, but the woman doing my nails gave me a completely different color than the one i had picked, didn't ask me what shape i wanted my nails filed and filed them down very short after i had grown them to the perfect length. i hate leaving a bad review but unfortunately i do feel this way and will not be returning to this nail salon. read more

I get pedicures and shellac manicures and I'm super happy with the results every time. My shellac manicure last anywhere from 4 - 6 weeks before they start growing out. Got my nails done by Sarah and I was beyond impressed. So precise and it turned out better than i imagined!

I am incredibly disappointed with this establishment. I had a pedicure appointment for 1:30 and didn't get sat down until 2:15. There were four others who came in after me but were helped WAY before me. The workers were quick to try and fix the issue but there were a lot of others who had appointments and were not helped for a long period of time. This is not the first time this has happened. Just a piece of advice, do not tell a customer they can make an appointment when you are already incredibly overbooked. read more

All the staff is friendly and very good at what they do, however they seem to be a bit overwhelmed, overlapping appointments and paying less attention to nail requests. My last few fills were quite frankly painful and damaging. Prices fluctuate all over the place depending on who you get. Now They seemed to care more about quantity then quality. It's a shame because they are nice and I was enjoying their services but the last few times just did it for me. I opted to not go back to have them removed and have been nursing my nails back to health ever since. Sadly, I will have to find a new place to go. First time coming to this nail salon and I'm pleasantly surprised. The color selection was decently sized with a variety of options both in regular nail polish and gel polish. I got a fill and gel manicureand I loved how careful and gentle they were. I was a walk in but appointments are an option if you're more pressed for time. I also got a pedicure but I wasn't super happy about it because I feel like my person wasn't as gentle and it was a bit overpriced in my opinion ($45 for a simple pedi with gel). My nail tech wes terrible and rude. I got a pedicure and he didn't even scrape my feet or massage my legs. I also got a full set and he didn't pick my cuticles or do anything besides put on the acrylic. My nail already chipped just 2 days after my appointment, not just my polish, but the acrylic broke also. I didn't do anything to make it break besides lay in bed which doesn't seem like a way to break a nail. Never will go back. Terrible service and attitude all around.
