I'll start off by saying that I'm not a critic of pedicures or Nail Salons for that matter, but I do know what I like. I'm a diabetic so I need to take care of my feet and part of that care is regular pedicures. I've been to numerous salons over the years and have found that GLOW BAKERY NAILS (GBN) is by far the best. Not only have they proven to be very caring and gentle with my feet but their salon is very accommodating, clean and their technician's equipment are always sanitary. The salon even has complimentary beverages. There are salons blocks from my home but I would rather travel the 10 miles to have, Fann at GBN take care of my feet. My first and last visit unfortunately. I did not have a good experience here. To preface I am 33 weeks pregnant so my skin is more sensitive, but I am also wanting more caution while getting services because I don't want any potential infections from cuts. The technician cut my finger as she was cutting down my nails. She apologized, but she tried to continue services without even cleaning the wound or applying any antiseptics. I had to ask her to clean my wound. She then talked to someone and they looked at my nail, but did not acknowledge me or say anything about it. After that I was quite upset and decided that instead of completing my manicure I just wanted my old set taken off. The technician did not even clean my nails. There is still glue left on them. I had a pedicure at the same time and that was fine, nothing to write home about. At time of payment when they asked how everything was I told them about my experience, the employee said he didn't know and that he wished someone had said something to him. In an effort to offer me something for my experience they tried to give me a card for $20 off a future visit, but I said that I didn't plan on returning. Updating my review because I'm still coming here regularly for my pedicures and Gel-X extensions, and the service continues to be amazing. Trieu does my nails, and I always leave happy with how they turn out. He's very precise, pays attention to the small details, and makes sure everything looks clean, even, and well-shaped. My nails always look polished and last well. I recently had my pedicure done by Carol, and she was wonderful. She was thorough, gentle, and made the experience very relaxing. I know she didnt cut off my toe but a quick apology is way more professional. I've had a handful of different technicians trying to find a go to person and I dont have a good experience anymore. I cant say anything about manicures. I recently visited this nail salon for the first time. It was very comfortable, and the staff were all so friendly. The person who did my nail art was Lina--she did a wonderful job and was very creative. I was impressed with her work; whatever design you choose, she can execute beautifully. The only surprise was the price. I thought it wouldn't exceed $100 because that was what was listed and what I was told. However, when I paid at the cashier, the total came to almost $140, which surprised me. I also gave Lina a tip of $15 from the bottom of my heart for her excellent work. Overall I'm satisfied with the service and the venue, and I don't have any issues recommending this salon--just be sure to confirm the price with the front desk or cashier beforehand to avoid any surprises. read more

I chose not to go back due to all the feedback the salon had already received to do better. Also there were managers already there that could see the state of the salon as I did. I am not interested in discount or a free set. Do better with your existing clients if you want to keep them. Make the experience as glorious as your insta promise. Talk with your clients not at them or about them when then are right there. Is the 5, 10 dollars extra worth it to lose a client when you are already charging 85 for hard gel? Does the space look clean? Did you take the time to wipe down or sweep up? Or are you rushing clients in and out? Is the atmosphere inviting? I called in earlier for a same day appointment asking if they had availability for a 5 PM Pedicure and Eyebrow Wax. The person that answered the phone said there was availability and scheduled me. Upon walking in, you have to check in on a tablet. I arrived about 5 minutes prior to check in. There was nobody at reception to greet you. It took them about 15 minutes for me to get seated. It took about 22 minutes in total to have the next nail tech to finally get to me. They offer a complimentary drink included in the service. The ambiance of the workers felt a bit chaotic, confused, and stressed. When I come to get my nails done, I go to feel relaxed and at ease. There was also a big language barrier with me and Louie. My pedicure finally started at around 5:30 PM. It also felt uncomfortable that they were talking about me in a different language because I felt judged and saw the nail tech point at me while talking. This salon is overhyped with ads on Instagram and TikTok. I also felt like the spaces between the chairs are so tight that the workers kept accidentally knocking things over. It's like they are trying to work so fast that they become clumsy and things fall over or something happens on accident. The callus remover on my left foot was on a significantly shorter period of time than my right foot. The massage part was good and then got a bit strange because at one point Louie stated picking at my scab like he spaced out for a bit while going through the motions. The nail service was good and my cuticles were cleaned well other than the things I mentioned. I got an eyebrow wax as well from Kim. She was really rough with her with pushing and pulling my head to reposition. There was one point where her thumb was sort of digging in my eye. My left eyebrow looks clearly thinner than my right eyebrow. I really wanted to support this place, but the ads won me over. I don't think I will come back. I really wanted to like this place, but I can't when something that is supposed to be relaxing made me feel uncomfortable. read more

I trusted this nail salon before but after my last experience, I don't think I'll be returning. I asked for a cat eye design, which is an extra cost on top of the polish itself which already comes with a fee. The design involves using a small magnet to move the metallic particles in the polish to create light reflecting lines. The polish itself is just a regular sparkly color without dimension if you do not use a magnet on it. Despite it being a design option, my nail tech was not able to properly create the effect. You can see in my photos that it just looks like a regular sparkly color. There's a littleeee bit of dimension in some parts but it's inconsistent and definitely not what you would expect for a cat eye. On top of that, my nail tech cut too deep into my cuticles and I left with two bleeding fingers. The skin around my nails peeled over the next week (pictured) and that's never happened in the 10+ years I've been getting gel on my nails. I left very disappointed. read more

Although I love coming to this place to get a pedi done, today's visit was very uncomfortable. I asked for a striped design and mind you I know it was a bit much and I asked if they can do it, they said they could. They then went to go complain to multiple coworkers that I was being "too much". I settled for a much simple striped design and they started to talk among themselves saying I was being "difficult" and "complicated". I've never had a problem with any other staff but today made me and my husband very uncomfortable and unwelcomed. Don't know if I'll be back after this visit. read more
