My wife and I finally decided to splurge on getting some assistance cleaning our house. Its about 1800 sq. Ft. So not tiny but not massive either. Glow had a lot of good reviews so we gave them a shot. They came to do a "deep cleaning" as the initial clean. To start, they were late, running behind from another job. Thats understandable, but it doesn't hurt to communicate that to your clients. About 5.5 hours 2 women were here cleaning the house while we were in and out. Language barrier with the on site cleaners made it difficult to communicate and clarify our requests. After all was said and done, some things were fantastic and others were completely neglected which was strange. Kitchen counter tops were shining and clean. Furniture that was moved to clean the windows was left out of place. Shower looked great. The master bed was a mess because they stood on it to clean the fan. Downstairs is a living room and it wasn't touched. The attached picture is from us running a vacuum in just the kitchen after they left a 5.5 hour cleaning! The company was contacted, and I applaud them for trying to make it right. They said they would send someone back, but at this point it was 6PM and there were people coming over. Told them multiple times that it wouldn't work tonight, but they sent someone anyway. That didn't feel like great customer service. All in all, I can't see how I would use them again after an accumulation of short comings on the first experience. read more

Claimed to provide one time deep cleaning They absolutely ruined my move into newly purchased home. The house was dirty, that's why I hired them. Deep was a joke. Feather dusters ridiculous. I had only seen the home one time. If they had discovered it was dirty and they were not able to clean it properly they should have called me. I would've paid any amount of money to have a clean house. I think this company spends more money on their fancy logos then on proper tools. Soap, water, shop vac and a little elbow grease work wonders. This company was horrible. read more

we asked her to clean our kitchen and bathroom. She did an okay job in the bathroom, but the kitchen was still dirty and she left scum all over the sink. She used our mop and left it in the middle of the kitchen, still dirty. The worst part about her service, is the fact that she was scheduled for 5-7, but she ended up showing up at our house at 4. Because of this, my girlfriend had to rush home from work (I was already home, but my girlfriend was unaware of that). my girlfriend called me in a panic saying that the cleaning lady was downstairs an hour early. Kyana (the cleaning lady) also got in some sort of argument with someone on the phone while cleaning, and began cursing at them. After she had finished cleaning, she insulted my girlfriend via text calling her a "liar," and that she didn't really rush home. After my partner left her a COMPLETELY UNDESERVING 4 star review, she texted my girlfriend saying "you didn't rush home. Your bf was home. Why lie?" She then said "I'm going to put you on 'do not request,' because your house smelled really bad. I have children to feed." If anyone at this organization has an idea of who Kyana is, she needs to be reprimanded in some form. due to her rudeness, clear lack of interest in attention to detail, and customer service, we will never use this company again. I needed a thorough cleaning prior to my upcoming surgery. The estimate was very high but felt I had no other choice. I booked 2 people for four hours. they arrived late with 3 people (too many for my small apartment, which I was very clear about when booking). They left after 2 hours despite my telling them they there were many things left undone. I was furious. The worst part is that about 2 weeks later I discovered my watch collection was stolen. I had hidden my other jewelry, but these watches were in the back of the top drawer of my dresser. I never thought they would go through my dresser. The experience with GLOW cleaning was the very worst. Please don't use! Buyer beware. read more

On one of the hottest days of the year, in a challenging space with little air flow, the cleaners did an amazing job. From top to bottom, and behind, they cleaned all surfaces and got the place sparkling. They were literally cleaning as they went out the door and took all the trash with them. In March I booked a 4 hour cleaning of my home online with Glow, I did not pick a reoccurring cleaning and did not have someone come out for an estimate. The cleaner was to arrive between 1-1:30, i called them at 1:30 and was told the cleaner was running late. I called them at 2:15 and was told the cleaner was at my house, the cleaner arrived at 2:20 PM (time stamped on my security cameras). I let the person at the glow office know that at 5 PM my husband comes home, we would need to make dinner, etc and the cleaner could not stay at my house until 6:20 to finish the job. Glow stated that was fine and she would return the next day to finish the hour. The cleaner worked very fast and cleaned my home in 3 hours leaving at 5:20 PM. I tipped her online as she did well and was supposed to come back the next day for the 4th hour that I had booked. I didn't receive a text confirmation so I called glow the next day and was told that the cleaner reported she was there the full 4 hours. I had to send them my security camera footage to prove to them that their employee was lying. I told them this was awful customer service to receive as a first time customer and I did not want to be charged for the tip I initially left online as this woman was not going to finish the job and was lying. I received a call back apologizing and stating that I would not be charged anything other than the $66 hold they place on your card. Now in May, two months later, I receive an invoice in my email stating I owe them for the 4 hour cleaning and the tip. I called them and again explained the situation, explained that this was resolved 2 months ago hence why I they didn't send the invoice 2 months ago, and that I was not tipping this woman. I received a call back later today that I would be charged for the 3 hour cleaning and no tip despite them saying I wouldn't be charged because of their employee not finishing the job and lying about it. So, they clean well, but have awful customer service and employees who will lie about the amount of time they're at your home which costs you money. Glow cleaning is by far the best cleaning service I have ever used. They are professional, detailed, and leave my home sparkling every time they leave. Many cleaning companies start out great but slide after initial visit. Not so with Glow. They are flexible, fairly priced and conscientious. They leave my house spotless every time.
