I went here many times on lunch break. The gals had absolutely no sense of urgency. It always kinda felt like you were inconveniencing them by showing up. The upsell of the lotion absolutely drove me nuts. I don't want to have a conversation about buying more lotion. IM GOOD. Sheesh. And you get someone in front of you that does want to hear about it and you can add 10 min onto your wait just to get set up. I did enjoy coming on lunch break for a massage/tan/red light... but when you only get an hour for lunch and they are taking their sweet time, it limits what services you can do. I was honestly kind of confused about which option to choose and something wasn't going through right away, but Miley was so patient and helpful the entire time. She took the time to explain the different memberships, pricing, and services instead of rushing me or making me feel bad for asking questions. Even though there was a small issue at first, she stayed calm and worked through it with me until everything was figured out. Once it was all set up, the rest of my visit went really smoothly. The salon itself was very clean and had a relaxing atmosphere, which made the experience even better. Miley was super friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure I left happy. You can tell she actually likes helping people and takes her job seriously. Overall it ended up being a really good experience and I'm glad I decided to get the membership. I'll definitely be coming back and would recommend California Sun especially if Miley is working!

LOVED my experience here!…read more Visiting the area for the weekend, I was looking for a sauna and red light therapy treatment. After a quick Yelp search I stumbled upon this gem! I came in on a Saturday afternoon around 1:30pm. I wasn't looking for a membership, I have one back at a spa back home - I was look for day of services. I was prepared for the pricey one day serves - but was pleasantly surprised!! I purchased a treatment in one of their red light chambers, infrared trim spa (my favorite ever!!) and sun bed (red light and uv). I also purchased a sample size of one of their lotions, and everything came out to be under $100. That may sound pricey, BUT at any other salon that would have been easily over $100. The service was incredible too! The young lady working at this location looked up every possible way I would be able to get a discount. And overall the prices for memberships are top tier. Now onto the services!! The red light therapy was a standing room chamber. It had a vibration plate and was quite possibly the best experience I've had with red light therapy. I was looking forward to trying their halotherapy, but it was not working that day. I did end up using the infrared trim spa - and let me say - I've used cocoon spas in the past but this - this was superior in all ways!! I ended my session with their sun bed with red light and UV. Overall amazing! Everything I tried was incredible. The location itself is clean, well maintained and had lots of other offerings (waters, bags, cute clothes, lotions, etc). The staff is super knowledgeable and kind. I look forward to making this my go to wellness spa when I'm in the area.

I honestly wish I knew more about the options they offer now, but when I was asking questions at the front desk, I kinda felt like I was annoying the girl working there. So I just kept it simple and went with the basic spray. To be fair, she was working solo and there was a pretty long line, so maybe she was just overwhelmed, I didn't take it personally. The spray tan machine worked great, and the color came out awesome! It lasted about a week or two before it started fading, which was exactly what I expected. Next time I think I'll try the smaller location closer to my house, hopfully it's a little more relaxed and I can take more time to ask about the newer stuff.
