She messaged me before my appointment and took the time to answer any questions I had about prep. When I had trouble finding the office she walked out to greet me. The new client sheets and other forms she has are beautiful, very visually appealing. As a plus size woman, I was EXTRA nervous for my wax. Thankfully you could tell she is a pro and I didn't have any issues or feelings of awkwardness during my service. She walked me through everything as it was happening so there was no surprises, which I appreciate!! She made sure to clean up my lashes and my brows before getting started. My lashes came out beautiful and lifted! I can really tell the difference in tint when comparing them to my lower lashes too. At first I was nervous about my eyebrows, but after giving them a little pat down and washing off some of the extra tint they came out beautiful. I gave them a little trim and shaped them how I normally would and now I'm in love! I would happily return to her in the future. Not only that, but she has punch cards too! We booked a couple of days advance for my daughter and her friend, to celebrate her friend's 12th birthday. Went back and forth a few times over text message with them about making sure the girls could be together for the kids scalp treatment (it's for ages 8-14) and an on the go facial- each service 30 mins, one hour total for each girl. The girls were excited for the special occasion. The shop looks like it is still being set up and just opened recently. Kind of a pop up type vibe / ambiance. When we arrived we were greeted but the person didn't speak English and when I confirmed we were there for two facials and two kids scalp treatments per the appt, she looked at the girls and started saying things we couldn't understand. We used a translator on her phone to try to communicate, she was telling me the "babies" had too much hair and they couldn't wash "it" all out. My daughter has long thick curly hair and her friend has straight hair a few inches past her shoulders. No one had asked about length or texture or anything at the time of booking. We waited for another employee to come but she also couldn't communicate in English. I asked them via their translator about the facials we booked, thinking since they seemed to be saying they couldn't perform the scalp service since they could not wash the girls' hair out in thirty minutes. It was unclear if they didn't have time or wanted us to pay more money. This was their advertised service, we had planned on it... no disclaimers about long hair needing anything special in terms of cost or time, nothing about anything being put in that was difficult to wash out, I still have no idea what the issue was. I asked if they were trying to get me to pay more for a different service? They couldn't explain or answer anything well. They pointed at another package that cost twice what we had booked ($40 kids package, they wanted us to do the $80 package for both girls). The facials were additional obviously, but every time I asked about them they ignored me and continued saying they could not wash the kids hair. I was hoping we could just do facials and salvage the bday celebration. We couldn't have any conversation past that, even with the translator. I took time off work, and this was the last day before school starts that the girls were available to celebrate. None of that is Elodia's problem, they likely forgot that it was a special occasion but judging by the way they handled it, they probably wouldn't have cared. They need to make sure someone with the ability to communicate works there to help guests and they definitely need to update their pricing and information, if age is not the determining factor as they state, and length of hair is, they should tell people that up front instead of trying the bait and switch when customers arrive. We spent quite a while trying to communicate and when it was evident they could not and or would not be able to perform any of the four services we booked, and were just going to keep saying the same few words over and over (who knows if they would have also told me the girls faces were too big and would also cost extra for facials LOL)... we left. Anywhere who cared about customer service at all would have just performed the service they sold and let us know it took longer and might cost more next time. I would have tipped generously and appreciated them making the experience work, especially since it wasn't our fault they booked services they don't seem to have any clarity for. We were able to find another activity and the girls still had a great day but we will have to reschedule the spa experience and I would definitely urge against anyone going here until they figure things out. It's not a place I'd ever try again or recommend to anyone I like.

I was informed that one of us would be delayed because one of the clients arrived late, which was totally fine with me. We arrived, and I let my mom and mother-in-law go first. At around 8:30 PM, I was brought back by Ruth. Keep in mind, they close at 9:00 PM. She quickly massaged my head for about two rounds, brushed my hair, used the wooden tool, and then left me waiting for about 15-20 minutes to attend to another client she was still working on, which was completely okay with me. When she came back, it was already 9:00 PM. I thought she was going to continue with another round of massaging, brushing, and etc but instead, she went straight to shampooing my hair and was literally scratching my scalp off the entire time. At no point was she actually massaging my head. The whole service felt extremely rushed, and the quality just wasn't there. Honestly, my hair felt cleaner when I came in than when I left. I booked the service for an hour, but in total, it only lasted about 30-40 minutes. I would have completely understood if they had told me they couldn't take me because it was so close to closing time. Instead, I paid for a rushed, incomplete experience. After paying, she gave me a coupon for $10 off my next service, but I'm honestly not sure I'd want to return and risk wasting another $80.
