(I normally go to Katy Heyings in Durham, but wasn't able to schedule with her before my flight out this Thursday. Highly recommend going to her if you're thinking about getting a lash lift and tint.) My appointment was at 10:30 AM, and for this service, I'm usually in and out within the hour. I, however, was here for 2 HOURS. The technicians were so focused on quantity and on bouncing between clients that the quality of service was nonexistent. My technician used so much perming and tinting solution during the lash lift and tint service that it began to sear my eyes and burn my eyelids. I asked if they had anything to flush my eyes with (which any qualified technician should have when using chemicals near the eyes), only to be given wet paper towels. I was genuinely surprised that this place hasn't been sued yet, if this is standard practice. Post service, my lashes are now extremely over-processed to the point where, every time I open my eyes, they get stuck in my eyelid crease, and my bottom lashes are fried and crimped every which way outside of a lovely curl. Don't get me started on how sore and raw my eyes are. I've included a picture showcasing the lashes and how irritated my eyes STILL are 2 hours after. You can look at other recent reviews specifically for this service and see individuals quoting the same issues. I've had this service done so many other times and have never had this issue. The high reviews are misleading and mainly focus on brow services; I should have been more cautious. Hopefully, this review can help keep someone else safe in the future. Save your money, save your time, and save your lashes. Avoid this place at all costs.

Glow Nail Spa is the worst nail salon. I was yelled at, mistreated, and left with nails that cracked the very next day. The male manager was completely unprofessional and tried to take several pictures of me without consent. I have contacted the local health inspection office. The local law enforcement was involved when the owner stated that he took pictures of my tags and told the Police Department that I walked out on my tab. Which I turn was a lie and I contacted the Cary police department and the owner took off. If they treated me that way the treat others the same. This is why the nail spa is always empty. Please review pic b4 spending your hard earned money here. Go to Bella's in Apex. They never disappoint and treat customers like guests in their own home. read more

I'm so disappointed to say that today I've experienced the worst pedicure of my life. I had a 4:00pm appointment that I booked online. The technician that I had was very young, kept calling me "bro", and was literally playing a video game on his phone while he was giving me a pedicure! I had yellow polish on my toes from the last pedicure I had here. The technician was scrubbing them with a tool and I told him that it was regular polish, not shellac. He said I know, and kept going over them with this metal tool, which was a little painful. Then he cut my toenails with the polish still on, removed the polish, and barely filed my toenails. He tried scrubbing my feet awkwardly, which was very ticklish so he just stopped. Then he took some water out of the foot bath and put it all over my legs and rubbed them down with a scrub and then removed it. I received no lotion, and then he placed hot towels on each of my feet. The technician said that something bit him and went into the back room for a while. When he returned he was playing the game on his phone. I felt like I was in a Seinfeld episode. There were no other customers or employees working when I received my pedicure which was strange because they are usually busy and it was only 4:00. When the nail tech painted my toenails it was very rushed, he barely let the base coat dry and he began applying the polish. I've included pictures so you can see the terrible paint job, my dry feet and yellow nail polish still visible from my last appointment. I also have a rash from the aggressive scrubbing. I let the polish dry under one of the dryers but it was hard to see the details due to dim lighting. When I got out to my car in the sun I was very disappointed. My feet were much better off BEFORE this pedicure.

I had them remove the gel polish for my pedicure, very basic just soak, buff feet and the polish. I waited more than an hour before having my face and half leg wax. The lady who waxes kept taking customers while I waited and waited and waited. They had said it would be 10 minutes before and so by now they have lied by omission, and overtly lied about the time. I waited no less than an hour with nowhere comfortable to sit. They had the nerve to charge me 178.00! Plus I gave them tip!!! Had I had access to a price list I might have made different decisions. I just called and was told the face and half leg wax was $95 ??? Never ever have they charged me more than $40 for this 15-20 minute service. My bad...I let them take advantage of me with a smile on my face and tip in my hand. I thought on my way home maybe they needed the money really badly? Has anyone else had this experience there? Then, as the manicurist is pulling out her little UV bases, I asked again - "please can you set the dip without the UV?" And she said yes, then got up to grab something, comes back, puts on the first coat and goes "OK, put in the light". WTF. I asked at least 5 times to NOT have UV and even asked for clarification BEFORE the manicure started if they could set it without UV and was told yes. Lastly, it was beyond tactless to have the manicurist hover over me as I paid when the tip screen came on. Would not recommend this salon for a dip manicure if my life depended on it.
