Yes, it was busy and we had to wait for every hole in front of us to be free but that was expected based on it being a rainy day and we could clearly see when we started how many people were there so we knew what we were in for. Even so, the kids still had fun and everyone gets a prize at the end too (in our case it was a light up ring)! The place was clean and seems to be up-kept. Shoes were included in the cost. The shoes were newer and clean. The computer screen at your lane to set up your bowlers was really easy to navigate. Not complicated like back in the day. You're able to request the bumpers on the computer screen when setting up your bowlers. There's also ramps for the ball that kids can use, usually located in the corner off to the side. Bathroom is a little outdated but fairly clean. Restaurant inside the bowling alley.

Aside from that, we had a great time and played pretty well. The overall vibe was relaxed, and it still felt like a fun experience rather than overly stressful. We also ordered food and drinks -- got the club sandwich with fries, and for golf course food it was actually really good and filling. Drinks were solid too. Overall, I'd recommend it if you want a course with great views and don't mind a bit of a challenge.

The location of the hotel is also excellent, with the beach only about a 5-minute walk away. It was very convenient to enjoy the ocean, explore the area, and spend quality time with our family. The hotel offers a great atmosphere, with a bar and breakfast area located downstairs. You can choose from the menu or enjoy the buffet option, and we were very satisfied with the quality and variety of the food. The staff was professional, friendly, and always welcoming. Everyone we met made us feel valued and well taken care of. The service, cleanliness, location, and overall experience exceeded our expectations. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this Hilton to anyone visiting Hawaii. We would definitely come back again!
