It was so last minute and so specialized, and initially the owner was not encouraging that it was possible to do. However, as I explained the situation he helped me pick out the design I needed. He was not sure it could be completed in time for graduation, but I received a call a few hours later that it was done! I cannot describe how beautiful the embroidery was and how much it meant to be able to give it to my granddaughter. She loved it and I'm sure she will love it for years to come. They arrived on time and ready to work setting up right away. Events United had advanced knowledge in the Kessler system (which I was very impressed with) keeping the shoot running smooth and on time. Joan was recommended to me by a friend and I never actually met her until my wedding day, but she immediately felt like an old friend there to enjoy our special day with us. She made me (and my husband, who is camera shy) feel comfortable in front of her camera, which I know isn't always easy. Taking pictures didn't feel like a chore because we spent the whole day laughing (and crying) while taking them. She captured the most special day of my life so beautifully and I will forever cherish those memories. Joan sent us sneak peeks the night of the wedding which of course prompted more tears. She sent a few more teasers along the way and then we had the full gallery within a month of our wedding day. By the time she was done editing there were still 600+ of them and somehow even with that many - each photo told a story. I printed some for a photo album and before I knew it I had 400+ prints so it's clear I loved her work. I highly recommend Joan for any event!
