Had to hit up GNC to grab some of the Rock's new energy drink ZOA. I was a little disappointed they did not have they full compliment of the product line in stock. They only had the 15 calorie sucralose sweetened drinks and none of the 100 calorie drinks. I really wanted to sample both since I have issues with certain types of sweeteners, so I'm going to have to try again. My wife and I walked into this specific GNC because a particular protein supplement caught my eye. Being military, we usually shop on base, but we decided it was convenient to get our products there and then. After about 10 minutes, we had about 5 different products ready to check out. Peter (Manager) was training a new employee (Desean) on the process of checking customers out. Our total came out to $170. At this point, Peter proceeds to tell us he is going to see what he could do to save us money and adds a promotional box of supplements that we never asked for or wanted. He asks for our membership phone number and address. After about 20 minutes of us standing at the counter being patient because he was "training" a new employee, our price was dropped to $129. Very surprised, I asked how that was possible to discount the price that much, as this has never happened when visiting another GNC before. He (Peter) begins to tell me that he credits his math major and being good with numbers (eye roll). Obviously happy with the price drop, he directs us to fill out a review for him and his trainee. Once completed, we thank him and leave the store feeling like we would most certainly be coming back for more shopping in the future. Fast forward to 2 hours later when my wife and I are home. She receives exactly 9 different emails from GNC. After opening all of them, we quickly realize and verify the fraudulent actions that Peter trained his new employee on. He signed us up for an autopay and delivery of the exact products that we bought today, 6 months from now, with my credit card information, without our consent. It was never discussed or told to us at all that we were signed up for anything. Buyers beware, if you give your GNC membership number when buying products, the same thing can happen to you! On the receipt, you can see the "order number" for each product that would have been charged and delivered 6 months from now. That is the only hint on the entire receipt that gives any indication of the future transactions. Luckily for us, we keep up with our emails and we're able to login and cancel the transactions. For others that may not keep up with their GNC emails, they wouldn't know until their cards are charged 6 months down the road. We called the store to inform Peter of our displeasure with him and his actions. He took no accountability with his lack of integrity. When I asked him why he didn't inform us of the future transaction, he told me "it would have taken too much time to explain that since so much time was spent getting you the discounts"....because we were in such a rush after we were willing to wait 20 minutes for him to train his new employee (sarcasm)... Shame on Peter, and shame on GNC for allowing this scammer to train its newest employees. These types of transactions are not only shady, but quite honestly infuriating. My wife and I shouldn't have to wonder if we got scammed into something while we shop at your stores. We will never be shopping at GNC again due to what Peter did today. read more

Eh, it's a GNC, you know the drill. This is where you can purchase various pills, powders, bars, gels, and snacks. Some of them will be illegal in a year or two, once the FDA finds out how fun and/or dangerous some of the compounds in them are. I come here for low carb stuff, specifically products from Quest Nutrition. They have the best selection in town. I hope they stay legal. read more

I went in looking for a specific thing. I was immediately greeted by a guy named Peter (who I later found out was the manager) and asked if I could be pointed in the right direction. The guy was friendly, very knowledgeable and brought me to the product I was wanting. I learned a lot from him regarding my high blood pressure and what may help it. I ended up leaving with four items that I am excited to try. He was also able to save me a bunch of money by me signing up for their pro package as well as getting the stuff shipped to my house. Anything to help save money helps right now with gas prices high and still rising. read more

Four stars for the staff here. Katie was so helpful while I had so many issues trying to set up my gnc rewards app. I'd gone to the dimond center several times and the staff there couldn't figure out how to help me sign up for rewards. All of the gnc stores used to have super varied prices for the same thing but now with the new rewards and new systems I think they are all within a dollar or two of each other. Katie helped me figure out how to get the maximum product with my coupons from the mail and my rewards. Ended up saving $40 which is always awesome. Helps when you spend an average of $150 on protein powders, pre work outs and other gym stuff a month. read more

Though I can find what I need here at least half the time, the customer service is not great. Of all the times I have been here there has been only one kind person. After spending $70 today, the girl working was stuck up and had a lack of emotional intelligence. Also, $52 for inositol powder that I could have purchased elsewhere for a quarter of the price, is a bit much. Ultimately, though, it is not so much the high price as it is the lack of customer service and disengagement that upsets me. This location has now moved to the lower level at the mall. It is a bit bigger with a very clean look and wide open. The best part is as part of the grand opening. They are giving you a free gold card for 1 year. Which i think is normally $15.00. I am happy to say i got one. Yeah! read more
