Real friendly staff and larger selection than the North Hollywood location. I had to come here after going to the NoHo store and them being out of what i was looking for. They called over to this location and had them hold a bottle of my preworkout supplement. I also had a GNC coupon but for some reason the computer didnt accept it, so the employee that was helping me just entered another discount for me in the same amount. Real cool of him to do that. Just getting here and parking at the Empire Center is a major pain in the ass. That being said, I walked in with my friend (his idea!) and one of the reps approached me and suggested a weight loss supplement without me saying anything. I was helped by Mohammad who was beyond knowledgable about each product I purchased and he even let me sample a vanilla protein that I was skeptical about purchasing. just visited today and left so upset that I had to write this review. FIrst problem : I was told merchandise had come in when I called over the phone, only to go in and find it was not in. Then the clerk- who was very unhelpful- asked me what I was expecting several times- I pointed out the exact merchandise that i was asking for and still he continued to ask questions about the product as if he couldnt see it right in front of his face. He was very matter-of-fact, unfriendly and just plain rude. I unfortunately had to make a purchase here anyway simply because I bought a Groupon for this exact location, so I tried to make the best of it get some merchandise and leave. Then he gave me tremendous trouble with the groupon- claimed it may be expired, said he didnt know what numbers to put it..and kept blaming me for not knowing how to use the Groupon!!! Even though the Groupon clearly stated the numbers to enter and the date of expiration which is still 30 days away! I asked this clerks name and he had the nerve to LIE to me after all that. He took five seconds to answer me when I asked what his name was!! He said his name was J, but on my receipt employee name and info says #786 and MH next to consultant. I highly recommend not going to this GNC for your healthcare needs. ANy where else would have been bending over backwards to make sure their customers get the healthcare they require.
