A great selection of things - it's like the lesser expensive version of Whole Foods (a store in San Jose - where I'm from), I love how they have a cafe inside that makes fresh sandwich & salads. Every time I come to the whole Wheatry I get treated very nicely. The service is excellent. The food in the store is very clean and the people are so nice. I wish they advertise a lot more. I guess if they did then everything would probably change so I'm glad they don't advertise actually I hope it just stays a little secret only me and you know that's probably selfish. But so what there's not many stores that you can feel on harassed and the people are nice and they look like they seem to love their job and you go in and get your stuff and talk to the people and they are nice and you leave happy and excited about cooking the food or the products that you just got. Such a shame the cafe has closed. They eliminated almost all of the menu as well. This was one of our favorite places to eat.

My family and I have been going here for years. We see familiar faces and not so familiar faces. But I always love going in- no matter how long it's been- and getting their carrot float. It's my childhood in a cup and it's my favorite thing about the place. On top of this the look feels like coming home to your grandmas once you get inside. I love this place. The workers are typically patient. On 6/5/25 I purchased something at store. I tried couple of times to put my phone number on the terminal #1 machine for Loyal Program to earn rewards but it showed "not found". the cashier lady did not say hi to me at the beginning also ignore me for the failure input my phone number and started checking out the next customer . I don't eat healthy in any way, shape or form, but this place was awesome!!! My mother-in-law took me here this afternoon because she had to grab some vitamins. This place was just like a Trader Joe's without all the nonsense and crowds of Trader Joe's. This place had everything organic, everything gluten-free, everything as raw as God created it here. They had everything from meats, dairy, fresh fruits and vegetables, frozen dinners and snacks, desserts, wines, beers, chips, spices, and vitamins as well. I took advantage of their fresh juice bar... They have different options of smoothies, raw juices and milkshakes- with coconut milk or almond milk, for those of you who are lactose intolerant, but they have regular milk as well for your base. There's good...and bad. I stopped by this store while traveling through the state. First, let's talk about the good! This store has an amazing selection! Everything you could possibly dream about in a health food store, they've got it! The layout of the store is great! The merchandising is way above average. The entire retail space was well thought out, well laid out, and unique. It has a very homey feel. It doesn't look like your boring old regular health food store. I found the entire space visually pleasing! The grab and go food section was amazing. We ate at the restaurant and it was good food. The smoothie was very good! Now the bad. Customer service. There were a lot of emoyees working. There were at least 9 that I saw, (and who saw me!) Out of those 9, ONE young man said hello. No one else in the entire store greeted us, smiled at us, asked us if they could help us, or acknowledged our existence, and I walked every isle. It was a very UNWELCOMING environment. Perhaps the products are so in demand or they are the only gig in town, so they don't put any emphasis on this area. For me, that's more important than anything else. I care how I'm treated and how I'm made to feel. I'm spending my money there, after all. This store itself is fantastic. It could be SUPER FANTASTIC, if they put effort into customers. With such a great selection and set up, it's a real shame that they don't. read more

Sadly all the produce tasted of incense or some other sorry of hippie scent. The packaging all reeked of it too. I guess I would have known better if I weren't wearing an N 99 mask because of Covid. Even soaking the produce in fruit and vegetable wash didn't get rid of the taste. I'm actually happy that they had such a meager supply of produce or I would have wasted more money. Pro tips steer clear of one of the girls that makes the juices. I usually come here for press juice the Asian or Hispanic girl with black hair made my drink wrong. It had way too much ginger super spicy burn my throat to drink and chunks of vegetables still when I asked for a little lime juice to fix it. I was charged in order to do so. UPDATE 2: I went back, and nicely explained what happened on Saturday, and that I came back to get my Elderberry Crystals that got left behind. First the two salesgirls ganged up on me very defensive and said " it's not our responsibility to know what you are buying! Very rude. I repeated that I only wanted to have a sign up front to remind us or have the cashiers ask if they were holding supplements. "Not their job". I was polite, FYI. HERES THE KICKER! I told her that I wanted the crystals, and she came back with kids. I said, no I want the adult, like the bottle I almost bought on Saturday. She said "oh we have been out of those for six weeks. We haven't ordered those in six months! I said that wasn't true that I bought a bottle 2/3 weeks ago. She had the audacity to tell me that I was wrong, there was no way!" So see attached picture of the very bottle that I bought there at the Whole Wheatery two or three weeks ago at the start of quarantine!
