Never had a bad produce or bad experience shopping there in general. Parking is right in front of the store and the customer service here was always great. It's also right off of the toll roads and main roads making it convenient to swing by. Definitely a brightly lit store and had a nice ambiance. I especially enjoyed their grilled salmon in their deli area. That with salad mix made for a great dinner or lunch every time.

You know, nuts, dried beans, dried lentils, and a couple dozen other items that were available by the pound, as they are in every other Whole Foods, including Ashburn. So I just did something I never do, and walked out, leaving my cart behind, on my way to go to Sprouts, which is next to Mom's - two actual health food stores, both of which sell bulk dried foods. ----------------------- Prior review ----------------------- We waited a year for this? Seriously? What a **HUGE** disappointment. Start with the cafe. Hoping for something as inviting as Fair Lakes, with beer on tap and indoor and outdoor dining? Or perhaps Ashburn's second floor with a two-level outdoor deck? Forget it. The indoor cafe area is about as inviting as a prison cafeteria. They had a year to build, a very large space, and a side parking lot that was always empty when this building was a Best Buy. Given they gutted the building, they could have cut openings in that wall and created an indoor / outdoor space. Nope. Let's just throw some tables against the front wall. The harsh lighting and being on display will ensure quick turnover. I've held team meetings at Fair Lakes, so we could talk over beer and burgers. Zero chance of me ever doing that here. Salad bar? I had hoped for a four-station setup like Ashburn, instead of the three-station setup they had at the prior Reston location. Nope. Just three, with one dedicated to soup, which means all hot food, prepared food, and salad offerings are spread across just two stations. Thus, the station for salad has half the vegetable and protein options Ashburn offers. Instead of five types of greens, it had two, plus browning iceberg, and significantly fewer vegetable options. No cauliflower, green beans, radishes, edamame, green peppers, etc. Protein? Instead of three types of lean poultry, it had one - rubbery chicken. And for non-meat-based protein, instead of tofu and 4 types of beans, it had black and garbanzo beans. Can you get a salad here? Yes. Will I? Given the selection, why bother? And beer? Well, the website claims a "world class selection," but the nearby Giant and Harris Teeter stores both seem to have a much larger selection, including local craft options. And while I was disappointed when I saw the beer options were largely limited to what was in a cooler, I was even more disappointed when I saw how much of that cooler was dedicated to seltzers and non-alcoholic content. Hey, those are great options, but how about a beer selection that motivates craft beer fans to come to the store? If I'm in the store and need beer, I'll grab something, but I'm not passing by Harris Teeter to come here for beer... and that means I'll likely pickup other things there as well. But hey, I did grab some Yogi tea while I was here, since I ran out last night. For $1 more a box than TJ's two blocks away. And while the place is clean, as you would expect at this stage, it has the ambiance of a fluorescent-lit big box discount store. Given the size of the space and the time they spent on the build out, this location could have been their flagship location in Nova. Instead, it's just another grocery store, in an area that does not lack for options, including a Wegman's, right down the road.

Run far away from any dentist who might tell you otherwise, not that you'd find any with a license. What it can give you, however, is E. coli, Salmonella, Campylobacter, Listeria, Brucella, Cryptosporidium, tuberculosis, and Avian Influenza (H5N1) resulting in paralysis, kidney failure, and death. Pasteurized milk contains the same amount of nutrients and is proven to be close to 900x safer than unpasteurized dairy which has resulted in at least hundreds of thousands of known deaths throughout history. Before widespread pasteurization, milkborne outbreaks constituted 25% of all food and water based illnesses. Imagine my excitement when I came across this place and saw this on their website: "Try our delicious meals made using fresh, seasonal ingredients with gluten-free, keto and high-protein options"! My husband and I come in to order takeout. I ask the cashier what on the menu has a keto option. She struggles to give me an answer, leafing through some papers, and ultimately tells me I can create my own bowl with "bison as the best keto protein option". Uhhh.. okay. I instead select the sugarless BBQ burger with no bun and salmon as protein, with a side of broccoli and the berry smoothie. My husband created his own bowl. We get home to eat .. and my burger is sitting inside a bun. Okay. My side order of broccoli was TINY and SOOO SALTY. I'm talking about *inedibly* salty. My husband's bowl with chicken had a whole 9 leaves of spinach, green pepper, and the kale & quinoa base which apparently is basically just rice?? And of course all of it was completely plain (no seasoning) without the added bbq sauce he got on the side. The smoothie was decent so we'll give this place 2 stars. I don't get it, this meal was so unsatisfying. We eat clean so that's not a new concept but I don't understand what 'clean' means here. We will certainly not be coming back.

To be honest, I was skeptical every step, and every time she was proven right with her observations. When I came in, I took several tests with her. From the Organic Acids Test (OAT) she told me I had a bacteria/fungus issue in my gut and that my liver was struggling to process toxins. We started a protocol but I started feeling worse so I went to a gastroenterologist to verify what I was doing. Another $300 worth of tests at the doctor simply proved that I had Small Intestinal Bacteria Overgrowth (SIBO) and the beginnings of fatty liver. I was shocked and so grateful to Elsa for recognizing this first and helping me treat it. I am also using her protocol to help fight the HPV that is connected to cervical cancer (HPV 16/18). I had a procedure to remove precancerous cells a couple of years ago and I am still worried each time I have to go for a pap smear. Also, some how (I'm still shocked) Elsa and Melvin were able to help me kick my caffeine habit. I'm so grateful! While I continue my healing journey, she has been spot on each step along the way and I couldn't be more grateful for her knowledge and support. If you have noticed ailments and are tired of seeing a prescription pad taken out each time you talk to a doctor, talk to Elsa and see what she can do. Don't get me wrong, I also love that she isn't afraid to recommend a prescription if it is necessary--and she has for me--but I like that it isn't the only tool in her toolkit for health. I wish all of American medicine looked like this. Good luck on your healing journey!
