I was a regular customer until I was unfortunate to meet the GM Today. I have to repeat That I…read morehave never seen the short bearded person before but read the google reviews and He is obviously a bit off and Should not be working with the public. He started stuff by charging Me a mystery $5 "misunderstanding" about specials that were offered every other time I came in and Then He tried to escalate by accusing Me of very specifically abusing employees about specials at least 4? times previously. This could be a dangerous person and He is the GM. Must be a relative of the owner. I have been there many, many times without a single problem and Today This "GM" thought it was okay to abuse a 70 Year old. He's an adult bully and will do it to the Wrong guy. There is no shortage of places to go in the area. Go there unless You like being abused.

The produce department is my favorite. Their lettuce and kale bunches are large, local and priced fairly. A great store for vegans/vegetarians! It is a little tight in there as it's not a large store but it is concentrated and laid out well. The staff is usually always friendly but as with any place, there are occasional exceptions. I'd recommend not shopping in the late afternoon as the traffic in that area gets pretty congested.

The last salad I had there was dirt all over the mushrooms that ended up all over the lettuce and black moldy spots on the bell peppers so it was an operation just to get the salad cleaned up enough to take a bite. I ordered a pasta this last time and asked for vegan cheese on top instead of the regular cheese and while it is supposed to be melted on top, there was zero attempt made to do so. The servers are usually always pleasant and helpful even if a little absent or slow with drinks at times. The place feels sticky and not super clean a lot of the time despite the tidy appearance. The employee wanted me to take just a drink, the only thing they had, and couldn't cancel, refund, or even adjust the total. I refused to accept just the drink after my daughter paid for so much more. A drink for over $9? I think not! When I asked why the app let her order items they didn't have, I got a weak excuse about how the app doesn't sync with store inventory. Every other place I order from blocks out-of-stock items. This was frustrating, unprofessional, and completely avoidable. No solutions offered, no accountability, nothing in stock, and no refund. I stopped going to Dunkin' Donuts when they started overcharging for a coffee.I'm completely disappointed to see this kind of service or lack thereof. The app has all of her information. Was a courtesy call from the employees, letting her know they were out of everything, too much to ask for? Why wait until someone wastes time and money to come get an order you simply cannot fulfill? My daughter deserves more than excuses. She deserves her money back and a direct, personally delivered apology from the store owner. Reimbursement for wasted time and gas should also be considered.
